My creative journey began at an old computer beside my parents’ big living room window. It was there that I furiously typed away at my latest “novel” or poem every Saturday morning. As an introspective and intensely awkward teen, these times were a safe harbor to me. When I wasn’t sitting in front of a computer, I was sitting in front of the piano. Alongside writing, classical music was another medium that allowed me to express myself. In time, my love for telling stories through writing and music quickly became interwoven with my love for photography.

I was introduced to the world of photography the same week I was introduced to the world! All thanks to my Dad, who was never without his camcorder or camera. Because of him, our memories growing up are preserved. Then I got my first camera + tons of film. I documented everything. When film turned into digital, that was a turning point in my life. Since then, my memories, large + small, have been organized on my computer, by year. Like many people, I spent 10 years within corporate America and although I am thankful for my experience, it wasn't feeding my soul. I can be honest and say that I learned so much- my customer service skills, high-level organizational & strategy skills, and my overall work ethic comes directly from my experience within a regular ol' 9-5.
