I am a wedding photographer who splits time between my hometown of Fargo, ND and Albany, NY. I'm all about adventure and meeting new people, and my work has taken me to just about every state in the U.S. and put countless special humans and connections in front of my camera. I strives to portray love stories with authenticity and meaning and I happily tailor my approach to my clients’ tastes and preferences. My mission is to ensure that you enjoy the day, while I take care of catching those quiet moments in an unobtrusive way.

There isn't a world where I'm letting any clients of mine go unsatisfied with our work we create together! If you want a bunch of posing help, I got you. If you want me to be a fly on the wall, done! Whatever will make you comfortable is what's going to get us the best photos that you'll be proud to look back on, and that will always be what I'm striving for.

    Best Decision Ever!

    Kay Dargen was the best choice we could have made for our photos. She clearly has a vision and the photos she did for our wedding were everything we wanted and more. She is easy to work with, professional and super talented. I can’t recommend Kay enough. She made taking all our pictures a breeze and made everyone feel comfortable in front of her lens. If you have the opportunity you should definitely hire Kay for your wedding. Best decision ever!

    Oh my goodness, Kay was so much fun to work with! I was the day-of coordinator for a recent wedding that she shot, and we truly had a blast. Not only was her creativity and dedication to the couple's vision unmatched, but her time management skills were 10/10. When our timeline fell behind and we were getting super close to ceremony start time, she managed to catch us up perfectly and somehow captured significantly MORE pictures than we had planned. She was a perfect match for our client and I can't wait to see all of the beautiful photos that she captured. Hire her now, you won't regret it!
