The venue itself is gorgeous and spacious, with a clean aesthetic that gave us plenty of room to have all our guests with comfort. The food was incredible and guests wouldn't stop raving about it, saying it was unlike any wedding food they have had before. What really stood out was how seamlessly everything flowed from our ceremony, to cocktail hour, to the reception, and to dancing. Spring Hill made everything feel effortless, and we know that was because of the team's attention to detail behind the scenes! “Based on previous reviews of weddings at the Colony, we lowered our expectations for wedding day but stuck with the venue as it is stunning, large enough for all of our guests, and in our preferred location of Kennebunkport. Our wedding exceeded expectations and was PERFECT, other than the cloudy day. Nicole is the best! Since we started planning over a year ago, there have been three different wedding coordinators at the Colony and we are SO grateful that Nicole was the one with us in the final months and on our day. She really executed every little detail of our day to make it perfect. Nicole provided such great insight and recommendations, a testament to her years of experience. The Colony is lucky to have her! Of course we could not have had such an amazing wedding weekend without the wonderful staff at the Colony. We are seriously blown away by all of the hotel staff and the staff on the day of, they were extremely prompt, professional, and helpful to make our vision come alive and stick to our requested timeline. The chef and kitchen staff were able to serve 190 entrees in 20 minutes, incredible! The food was also delicious, we received several compliments about the appetizers, entrees, late night food, and morning after breakfast. Most of our guests stayed at the Colony and found the rooms lovely and comfortable. The new Coveside rooms provided a great option for guests seeking more modern accommodations.”

One of the main reasons we picked the Red Barn was because of its natural beauty inside and out. The wood finishes and landscaping are the perfect backdrop to any wedding, which allows you to decorate as much or as little as you want. We worked with Rachel in the last 3 months before the big day and could not have asked for a better day of coordinator. She made us feel so calm and heard throughout the process. She was open and excited about all of our ideas. Her and the staff made our decorations and personal touches look better than we could have imagined when we arrived on wedding day. “Our wedding at Union Bluff Meeting House exceeded every expectation we had! Gabrielle Michaud, our coordinator, was amazing and instrumental in making sure our wedding ran smoothly, from pre-planing phone calls, check in reminders, rehearsal day, and throughout the entire wedding event. The venue itself is truly special with the lawn and beach view creating a stunning ceremony backdrop, and the meeting house just steps away, having both indoor and outdoor spaces for cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing. We loved that guests could all stay at the hotel on-site and explore the charming York, Maine area at their leisure. Gabrielle truly went above and beyond on the day of, making me feel calm and taking us away after the ceremony for a breather and some appetizers. I’m so thankful to have had her on my wedding day and I couldn't recommend Union Bluff highly enough. We can’t wait to come back and visit for future anniversaries!”
