I believe that getting to know my clients is the #1 way to ensure an awesome experience, I’d love to tell you a little about me: I am married to my highschool sweetheart, I love animals but horses and dogs are my favorites (so if you ever want to include your fur baby in your session the answer is always YES), I live just outside Fayetteville, NC but I LOVE to travel, and I love creating beautiful images but more importantly, I love serving couples and their families on one of the greatest days of their lives

Hi, Im Carol DeAnda, born and raised in the southwest suburbs and now living in Lake in the Hills Illinois, with my studio in downtown Algonquin. I have always been the one with the camera since grade school, but it wasn't until high school I realized that this could be my calling. After high school, I attended Harrington College of Design for the Digital photography program and started on my path to becoming a professional photographer. I am a PPA member and CPP (Certified Professional Photographer) and hold the Master Wedding Photographer degree from PPA, as well as a member of The Wedding Equality Alliance.

Hi, I've been taking wedding photos for 10+ years. I've been a photographer for 14+ years. I work full time in the e-commerce product photography industry and on weekends photograph weddings. I love photographing weddings getting to be a part of someone's special day and having the honor of capturing those special moments. My passion for photography and weddings began when I was very young. I staged Barbie weddings, making their dresses from Kleenex, then snuck Mom’s camera to take pictures of them. I moved on to dressing up my little sister in a pillowcase veil, again sneaking Mom’s camera. When she got tired of me using up all her film, she brought home several Bride magazines from the free pile at the library and I spent hours reading them, then pinning pages of beautiful wedding dresses on the ceiling of my bedroom. When “The Wedding Planner” came out in 2001, my fate was sealed

I grew up in a very small town called Colesburg, Iowa. I currently live in Dubuque again, but this time I live with my own family! My husband and I have quite the full house! A know-it-all 15 year old, a laid-back but sassy 9 year old, and a 3 year old who one day thinks he's a dinosaur and the next a Ninja Turtle. Oh, and not to mention we also have three cats, a Siamese (Owen) and a black cat (Daisy), and a Tabby cat (Astro), and two dogs, a Golden Retriever (Roman) and a beagle (Bayley).
