My guests still talk about how amazing the food was, and I don't disagree! Dessert was a cookie Bar. Cindy's team was amazing and more than happy to make all the items gluten free and even used my recipes. The chocolate mousse with raspberries was divine. “We booked Fat Zach's Pizza on the recommendation from our venue, and the venue was right! Fat Zach's was easy to communicate with and set up quotes/contracts. They are very experienced so the set-up was easy and required very little attention from us, allowing us to focus on enjoying the celebration. Their delicious pizza was the talk of the event, with guests raving about how good it was. To top it off, they packed up extra pizzas for us at the end of the night so we could continue the party at home. “Johnny Slaws BBQ is less of a restaurant and more of a beautifully seasoned crime scene. The brisket was so tender it practically confessed before I even picked up the fork. The pulled pork had clearly been through something traumatic, but whatever happened to it was delicious. Every bite tasted like a pitmaster made a deal with an ancient smoke demon and somehow got the better end of the bargain. The mac and cheese was dangerously creamy, the slaw provided just enough freshness to make me forget I was consuming enough meat to alarm a cardiologist, and the sauce tasted like it had been simmered in a cauldron under a blood moon. I arrived as a normal, functioning member of society. I left covered in barbecue sauce, staring blankly into the distance, wondering how soon it would be socially acceptable to return. Five stars. Tell my family I died doing what I loved.”

“Mama Sortinis was top notch catering. The communication from start to finish was excellent, Julie was incredibly easy to work with and she made sure we were well taken care of throughout the process. The food was of course delicious and our guests raved about the chicken picada and wild rice pilaf! The wait staff was timely, respectful and proactive - we never had to ask for anything to be done. To this day, people still talk to us about how amazing this feature was at our wedding. It worked perfectly with our floral arrangements and all the food on the spread was so delicious. Mallory really knows how to work her table into the party she is working. Her team puts everything together beautifully and she communicates very openly and clearly throughout the whole process. They jumped into action helping us figure out our new plan and what rentals we would need, offering a delicious tasting of our wedding food which made us so excited for the big day (I still dream about their Soba Noodle Salad), and asking and answering all of the critical questions leading up to the big day. Day of, Jo Ann and Pete were the first smiles I saw, offering a big hug and congrats as I walked through the door before they jetted off to make our wedding dream come to life. “We had our wedding reception and dinner catered by Choice Event & Catering in August, and the entire experience was wonderful from beginning to end. They listened closely to our ideas and thoughtfully curated a menu that worked beautifully for our outdoor celebration, including dietary restrictions. They were also incredibly sweet and thoughtful throughout the day.
