“I don't know where to start. My wedding which started out as a disaster became the best day of my life thanks to Yanicke from Zenju Weddings and Events of Hawaii. I hired a popular and reputable wedding coordinator on island of Oahu before we found Yanicke. We started planning a year ago with a specific coordinator that I will not name. She was not the best communicator and her response time was awful. Two weeks before my wedding we could not get in touch with this coordinator and we arrived to the island from CANADA with my family. Our coordinator was a no show at the rehearsal. I was so traumatised. We booked a lovely estate on the west side of the island. The owner of the estate felt so bad for us, that he provided us a recommendation of his favourite coordinator and said she might be available for last minute clients. He provided us Zenju Weddings and Events of Hawaii contact information. I contacted Yanicke FROM ZENJU WEDDINGS and cried to her and explained our situation. I asked her if she was available in two days. She gladly accepted. Ofcourse we offered to pay her more for taking our wedding last minute. I called other companies and no one would take us on. When I provided her all of our information, she was shocked that our planning looked like a rush job and nothing was completed. I hired her for Day of Coordination, but she had to clean up a complete butcher job from the previous coordinator, that she did way more than the Day of Coordination. She provided a functional lay out, an efficient time line, ordered rentals that was needed for the caterers which we did not have, re-did our entire design. It was not functional at all. Yanicke was in shock with the awful job the previous coordinator did. Yanicke was a god sent. There are still good people in this world. She even showed up at my hotel room in the morning to make sure all the vendors arrived on time, coordinated our first look, and picked up all of the favours from the hotel. Her coordination was the best! She thought of things we did not know, since I am the first one to get married in my family. Her coordination started from the moment we woke up. Her team of helpers were so kind and dressed so professional. They helped us and our guests with everything we needed. Yanicke made our 20,000 wedding look like a 50,000 wedding. She responded to all our emails immediately and kept me sane. My mother cried with joy and so happy we found her! I highly recommend Zenju Weddings!!! They really know what they are doing and you can tell they have been doing this for a long time. Yanicke is not only the co-founder and owner but she felt like my best friend. She is not the coordinator that will tell you what you want to hear with all the corporate BS. She is real and will be very blunt on what not to do and save your day! She is the person to trust with your wedding! Thank you so much to Yanicke and her team! Patrick and I are so grateful you saved our special day! You are a life saver!!!! We will be back to Oahu on our 1 year anniversary and maybe you can plan an anniversary party for is in a year. MAHALO!!!!”

I booked the venue and all of the vendors sight unseen so there was a lot of anxiety going into how it would all pan out. When I arrived, oh my goodness. Words cannot describe how on top of things Sugako was. I texted her multiple times, at any time of the day, leading up to the wedding and she was prompt and had the answers to everything. The most expensive part of any wedding or vow renewal is photography and/or video and since we personally do both, we pass the savings on to our clients. We have the A-team of florists, limousines, musicians, etc. Our hair and makeup stylists come to you and everybody on our team loves what they do as much as we do. We also believe in prompt delivery of the finished product(s) taking a day or two, not weeks.

“Aloha! Eight years ago was a very special day. Our beautiful ceremony took place on Waialae Beach in Kahala. We chose the White Roses Package, which included two leis with red and white rosebuds, we stood in a heart shaped leafy ring and our wonderful singer David Asing played his ukulele serenading us with Hawaiian Wedding Song; Kuuipo. We also released beautiful white doves out into the Hawaiian sunshine. Our hair and makeup was arranged for at our hotel on the big day and, a limousine collected us also. A truly fabulous day thanks to Leah and her husband Mike, who also took our photos and videoed the ceremony. Leah lovingly came to our rescue, when we both had a slight malfunction with our dresses! Needle and thread at the ready phew! We highly recommend Hawaiian Eye Weddings. Mahalo nui ia ‘oe!”

“I legitimately do not even know where to begin, other than HIRE TARA IMMEDIATELY! I am probably one of the most Type A people, you will ever meet. So relinquishing control day of was extremely hard for me. However, I knew that if I actually wanted to enjoy the day, unlike many of the weddings I have been in previously, I needed a day of coordinator. I interviewed several and Tara was the ONLY one that made me feel good. She was thorough, on top of things, and, quite frankly, equally as Type A. I can honestly say we were ALWAYS on the same page. I swear every email between us started with "I was just about to ask you...". I never would have been able to relax on my day, had it not been for Tara. She took my vision and brought it to life, despite the venue not being prepared, and giving some push back. She was able to pivot flawlessly whenever there was a hurdle, and she truly delivered the dreamiest wedding for us! Never once did stress get passed down to us as the Bride and Groom. She was reassuring, confident and helpful. Honestly, the day was better than I ever could have imagined, given some of the issues we had with the venue. She was a total and complete life saver, running between the two hotels my now Husband and I were at, when we forgot things. She even brought things to our hotel rooms for us, when we had forgotten them. I got home thinking I had lost my personalized hanger, and low and behold found it neatly packed away in one of my boxes, courtesy of Tara. She controlled all of the controllables and more, and I have not heard a single negative things about the day. In fact, I have had guests ask for her number, because she was so incredible and on top of everything. The best advice I can give to any couple in need of any wedding planning/coordination services is RUN DO NOT WALK TO ELARDO EVENTS. She is quite possibly, the best!”

One of the most remarkable aspects of our experience was the impeccable organization and coordination. Every element of our wedding, from the food vendor to the floral arrangements, was meticulously planned and flawlessly executed. During the wedding day I didn't even have to think, Sandra and her team had everything outlined and prepared. There was a moment where we sat down at our Sweetheart table to start the main reception and I had a thought, "I need to head to the bar to get myself and wife a drink." Right at the end of that thought I had one of her staff deliver us our plates of dinner along and asked what drinks we wanted. Within what felt like seconds our cocktails magically appeared. I know it's small but at that moment we felt pretty darn spoiled and taken care of. Because Sandra and her team were so attentive it really allowed us to fully immerse ourselves in the joy of our Big Day. Also big shout out to Sandra for helping us resolve a small family situation. We had a service drop off our Chinese Grandma (94 years old) but they dropped her off like 45 mins early at the venue while we were taking pictures elsewhere. Grandma was with a family member who doesn't speak Cantonese so they were both confused on what to do and where to go. Sandra rushed over to them and spoke to Grandma in Cantonese and handled the situation. That's the level of care you'll get from Finishing Touch. Thank you again Sandra and Team for making our day so memorable and smooth!”

Her communication style was frequent, clear, thoughtful, timely, and she was quick to respond to all of our questions and needs. The quality of her work and the value she provided was excellent-- she is hard-working and was incredibly considerate throughout the entire process. She went above and beyond, offering to bring additional decorations and even showing up the day before to assist with our traditional Vietnamese Tea Ceremony, which was not even on the same day as our official wedding. We had only hired her for her day-of coordination package, but even so, she was a consistent voice and helping hand for us for months leading up to the wedding. I can only imaging if we would have booked her whole wedding planning service, our wedding probably would have somehow been even more perfect than it already was. We are so grateful for her dedication and attention to detail in making our wedding day perfect. I highly recommend booking Annie!”

“I had the pleasure of working with Kalyna as our Day-of Coordinator for our wedding on October 21st, 2023, at Arden Hills Country Club, and I can’t recommend her enough! While the venue had its own coordinator, Kalyna was absolutely essential in making our day run smoothly. One of the biggest challenges we faced was having a large wedding party, and Kalyna took charge of wrangling everyone, making sure that all our bridal party members and vendors were exactly where they needed to be. She was super organized and kept everything on track, even when things got a little hectic. Kalyna’s ability to troubleshoot any logistical issues that popped up was amazing. Whether it was managing timing or helping with last-minute adjustments, she handled everything seamlessly. She was calm under pressure, and we felt so relieved knowing that she was behind the scenes making sure all the moving pieces came together. In addition to managing the big day itself, Kalyna also helped us with finding vendors leading up to the wedding. She connected us with an incredible hair artist who did an amazing job on the bridal party, which was one less thing we had to worry about. Her resourcefulness and network made the planning process so much easier! Her attention to detail and proactive approach made such a difference.
