“Seriously, you need Annie. I am such a type A person that I thought maybe I didn’t need a wedding planner, but from the first consultation with Annie we decided immediately we needed her. She added value from day one, and saved me from making a horrible venue mistake. She knows everyone, all the vendors, and who’s the best fit for you and your wedding vision. What she doesn’t know (which is rare) she figures out - for example, I had a request to have a magician, a friend cleanse the space with sage smudging, and a sound healer at our wedding, and she handled all my unique requests so well and was up for anything. She is very detail oriented and pays attention to everything- all our bills being correct, caught mistakes I made, and paid attention to all my strange requests. Most weddings are full of some strange interpersonal dynamic challenges, and Annie knew exactly how to navigate each one, paid special attention to the dynamic issues with my family and was fully ready and prepped to keep certain people happy and apart. She dealt with last minute changes seamlessly, including a no-show bridesmaid and last minute addition of a flower girl. There is no one I trusted more with my wedding (and at this point my life, I mean, can I keep her?!!) than Annie. On my wedding day and for months leading up to it I knew that whatever happened to go wrong, whatever last minute issues I would have, Annie would handle it and figure it out and I would barely know the difference. “Aloha! Eight years ago was a very special day. Our beautiful ceremony took place on Waialae Beach in Kahala. We chose the White Roses Package, which included two leis with red and white rosebuds, we stood in a heart shaped leafy ring and our wonderful singer David Asing played his ukulele serenading us with Hawaiian Wedding Song; Kuuipo. We also released beautiful white doves out into the Hawaiian sunshine. Our hair and makeup was arranged for at our hotel on the big day and, a limousine collected us also. A truly fabulous day thanks to Leah and her husband Mike, who also took our photos and videoed the ceremony. Leah lovingly came to our rescue, when we both had a slight malfunction with our dresses! “If you read any review, read this one. For context, I'm a producer, my entire career is planning big scale events, productions, and hiring people. We went through 3 coordinators before finding Tara and it was because I had such a high standard for who I wanted to help me on my wedding day. Tara was, hands down, the best thing that could have happened to us for our wedding. We had multiple setbacks and last minute changes and none of them threw Tara off her step. She was honest with us 100% of the time about what was possible and what wasn't possible. And whenever either of us had concerns, Tara's response was always exactly what we needed to hear. She assured us that everything would work out and she would take care of it and she absolutely did. We did all of the decorations for our wedding ourselves and relied on Tara to set it up and execute our vision. Not only were we both FLOORED walking down the aisle seeing what she had done, it was actually better than we could have ever imagined. Additionally, after the wedding I found out that there was an issue with our credit card that almost prevented the vendor from delivering the items on time - Tara took care of it without telling us (the best thing a wedding coordinator can do) and I really appreciated how it was handled without needing to ask us. I can't say this enough, Tara was the best thing that ever happened to us for our wedding. Truly I don't think we paid her enough. We are so incredibly grateful for what she's done for us and if we were to ever have a huge event in need of planning, I'd hire her in a heartbeat. Stop looking for a coordinator, just hire her. “My wife and I worked with Finishing Touch for our wedding in March 2024. I can't say enough great things about the quality of work and expertise Sandra and her team had from start to finish. One of the most remarkable aspects of our experience was the impeccable organization and coordination. Every element of our wedding, from the food vendor to the floral arrangements, was meticulously planned and flawlessly executed. During the wedding day I didn't even have to think, Sandra and her team had everything outlined and prepared. There was a moment where we sat down at our Sweetheart table to start the main reception and I had a thought, "I need to head to the bar to get myself and wife a drink." Right at the end of that thought I had one of her staff deliver us our plates of dinner along and asked what drinks we wanted. Within what felt like seconds our cocktails magically appeared. I know it's small but at that moment we felt pretty darn spoiled and taken care of. Because Sandra and her team were so attentive it really allowed us to fully immerse ourselves in the joy of our Big Day. Also big shout out to Sandra for helping us resolve a small family situation. We had a service drop off our Chinese Grandma (94 years old) but they dropped her off like 45 mins early at the venue while we were taking pictures elsewhere. Grandma was with a family member who doesn't speak Cantonese so they were both confused on what to do and where to go. Sandra rushed over to them and spoke to Grandma in Cantonese and handled the situation. That's the level of care you'll get from Finishing Touch. “Our experience planning our destination wedding in Oahu, Hawaii with Yanicke, where we first met and fell in love, was nothing short of a fairytale. As a newly engaged couple living in New Jersey, we had been ideating on whether we should pull the trigger on organizing our wedding in Hawaii - the ultimate destination wedding location - not to mention, one of the most beautiful places on Earth. Just knowing this, we assumed it would be out of our budget, especially given that we were planning a big fat Polish-Indian wedding spanning multiple days, faiths, cultures and more! We began emailing quite a few planners via The Knot and Wedding Wire just to get a feel for what we could except from planning a wedding in Hawaii in general. Beyond worrying about our budget, we were torn on whether we could logistically execute something so elaborate being so far away….until that fateful Monday morning back in 2024, when Yanicke called me out of the blue. She quickly introduced herself, mentioning how she had received our inquiry, and immediately dove into her ideas for our special day. I just loved that she took the initiative to do that, especially given the crazy, 6-hour time difference! She explained how she had worked with a venue that could double as accommodations for us and our immediate family, something we knew would be one of the best ways to actually host and easily organize the wedding weekend of both Indian and Polish wedding festivities. For us, Yanicke REALLY shined when it came to tapping her vast network of vendors and and managing our budget. She advised us on what we should prioritize and invest in, and what we could do without, while still maintaining the overall vision and vibe we wanted to create for ourselves and our guests on the the big day. She was EQUALLY impressive on both our rehearsal and wedding days. She suggested we rehearse not just the Catholic, but the and Hindu ceremony as well, which was so worth it given the many rituals and parent involvement. The timeline she had started putting together months before our wedding, plus the finalized version accounting for vendor arrivals, additional notes and moments we needed to incorporate, was exactly what we envisioned and needed the most, and everyone was locked in and delivered once the big day came. On our wedding day, Yanicke managed every vendor, navigated any delays with grace, and even helped with family drama all while keeping us perfectly on track. We felt supported, celebrated, and completely stress-free with her by our side. Yanicke is a real gem with years of wedding planning wisdom and sharp networking skills that is truly hard to come by these days. She advocates for both her clients and her network, and will make you feel like family from Day 1.”

“I hired Zoe for day of coordination but she was instrumental to an amazing wedding day. She was an absolute pleasure to work with, I would highly recommend!! On a day when you give your vendors complete trust, she made me feel super assured that everything would go smoothly and she would create a beautiful setting. She was such a calming presence on the day. I had help from my family in the wedding planning process but for day of coordination she helped in creating the timeline, ensuring it went smoothly, decor set up and breakdown, and much more. She’s involved heavily about a month before the wedding but she was very proactive in her duties even before then. On the wedding day when we strayed away from the timeline she was there coordinate with vendors and guests to make the transition so seamless our guests didn’t even notice. She had set up all of the decor and even went above and beyond to create a romantic setting. Her creative touch truly added a little magic. As a perfectionist sometimes she exceeded my expectations! She made everyone feel welcomed and relaxed on the day. She even picked up our florals the morning of to alleviate some of my stress, I’m so glad I went with Zoe and know anyone who works with her will leave with an amazing experience.”
