“JJ did such a fantastic job at our wedding this June! 3 things really stood out about him! 1) Attentive JJ Really paid attention to what I wanted our wedding day and reception to look like. Everything went so smoothly on the day of because he had really paid attention and gone over every detail of the timeline I had typed up. He was so fun and energetic and really got the party going! He customized our playlist too so that all my favorite songs got played at the wedding. 2) Professional Even though he is definitely fun and outgoing, he was very professional in all his text messages and emails and phone calls. He is very personable and friendly, but sticks to what needs to be accomplished. I really appreciated that. 3) Available JJ gave me his cell phone number and email address. He responded to texts within minutes and was very prompt in answering my questions. I honestly didn't realize how important a DJ was for a wedding until I had seen a few go very wrong and get awkward because the DJ messed up the schedule...JJ was fantastic and the night flowed so well because of him! “Brodrick and Adrian were amazing! I wanted a DJ who could keep the party going and read the room without me having to pick every song I wanted. Adrian delivered that and so much more! He was so communicative leading up to our wedding and was so helpful the day of. They made sure we knew what was going on, who had the mic, and made sure we liked the vibes of the music. “Music was the #1 most important part of our wedding. Our goal was to make sure no one left the dance floor, and we had an extremely high bar and specific vision for a DJ for our wedding… Davey met and exceeded expectations, and I’d throw another party just to hire him again. He was extremely helpful, available, and consultative throughout the process, which was immensely valuable because we planned the wedding from out-of-state. We wanted a party that started with familiar songs remixes into house music so that the family members could dance to something familiar, and get progressively more dancey throughout the night- and that’s exactly what we got. He’s adaptable and ready to read the crowd to keep everyone involved, which we really appreciated, and was a big priority. He puts the couple first and is very intentional about making sure the night goes smoothly and as expected. It was a party with exactly the right music, and Davey kept everyone dancing- even my 82 year old grandma. We selected Davey because of his knowledge of our music taste (he’d even played some of our favorite NYC clubs), but in referencing him it was clear that his capabilities were not limited to this style- I talked to two other couples who were just as excited about Davey as I am, but with pretty different taste. As we worked with Davey and got to know him, it also became apparent that he’s just an excellent human being, and brought such good vibes and energy to our wedding just for being who he is. To anyone considering, I could not recommend Davey more. We were close on using another vendor whose package included lights, but I’m glad we did not. The lights we would have received were auto-sensing lights that “sync” to the music- but from what I’ve seen, those lights are frenetic and unreliable. We spent some extra money investing in proper lights (Davey helped with a few introductions), and the combination of Davey’s skills and professional lighting transformed a standard wedding to a disco nightclub.”

“Our DJ was very professional, kind, and easy to work with throughout the planning process and on the wedding day, I had a million questions throughout the process and he was able to answer them all. He was great with communication and kept the music going all night, which helped keep the dance floor lively and fun for our guests! He helped me out a ton with helping pick songs for the precessional and other key moments of the night, and he gave me great advice on what would and wouldn't work well. my only tips for the future: Before the wedding, I had created a playlist of songs I was hoping would be incorporated into the night, along with a separate “must play” list of songs that were especially meaningful to us. Toward the very end of the reception, I realized that the must-play songs hadn’t been worked into the evening yet, so we asked for them with about 15 minutes left. In hindsight, I would just recommend making sure those key songs get sprinkled into the night a little earlier so couples (mainly the bride lol) have more time to enjoy them :) There were also a couple moments during announcements where guests weren’t fully paying attention, and repeating instructions once or twice more might have helped get everyone on the same page a little quicker. Overall, the music was still great and our guests had a really fun time on the dance floor. He was very professional, friendly, and easy to work with, and I would absolutely recommend him to other couples! As a nit picky /type a person, i think with just a little extra focus on incorporating requested playlists and must-play songs earlier in the night, he could make the experience even better for future weddings!”
