  • Extensive list of errors

We hired HighFidelity for our March '24 wedding and do not recommend them. They made an extensive list of errors at critical times at the wedding (eg: played the wrong song while the bride walked down the aisle, did not introduce the best man speech, missed the traditional song). They did not listen to our set list requests. The brief was high energy and upbeat songs that will keep people on the dance floor all night, this translated to odd song choices such as Wonderwall. Musically, they were a sound band, however it got sloppy as the night progressed, which had guests coming up to the bride and groom asking about the intoxication levels of the musicians. With the level of unprofessional behavior exhibited, I do not recommend this band. Both the wedding coordinator and venue manager came up to us independently saying that they would be telling all of their future brides to never book this band.

Hi Bec - We are sorry to hear that you were not pleased with some of the items at your wedding. Unfortunately many of these were beyond our control, due to information not received by the band in a timely manner. We have a checklist that we require couples to fill out 45 days in advance to make sure the band is prepped in advance. In this case the checklist was not filled out until only days before the wedding, this made it very difficult to ensure the requests were met. * (Wrong song when bride walked down aisle). This is incorrect. We did play the correct song (which was not sent to us until 6:42pm the night before), it just started a few seconds after you began your processional. This was due to your planner not signaling to our sound engineer (as previously discussed that she would do). As soon as our sound engineer saw you starting your processional he began your processional song. Note that the seating music, processional, and recessional songs were not sent to the band until 6:42pm the night before the wedding. * (Band did not listen to set requests). Actually we played the exact artists requested and even learned 2 new songs specifically for the wedding (which many bands do not offer). And with the list of over 50+ songs off our repertoire that you did not want us to play, this greatly narrowed the list, but we still delivered on that, not playing a single song on your "do not play" list. And your review even states "the band was musically sound". * (Band members were intoxicated.). Sorry to hear this was your impression, but this was not the case. In fact several of our members do not drink alcohol at all. * (Missed traditional song). This was a request that the bride sent at 6:42pm the night before the wedding. And when this request came in we were given 3 songs, which turns out the bride only wanted 1 of them played. This song was played, but the bride wanted it played immediately after the band's first set break. Because of the last minute communication the night before, it was missed to play this immediately after, but we did play only 3-4 minutes after the bands first set break. * (Missed introducing best man speech). Our lead singer may have missed saying their name immediately after the prior toast, but once the best man came up to the mic, the toast was given. Not knowing the best man's name was due to not having a printed timeline with names from the planner. * Again, these issues could have been avoided had we 1. received proper communication from your planner 2. received the wedding checklist we needed more than only a few days before the wedding 3. receiving songs for the ceremony more than 24 hours in advance (these were sent 6:42pm night before to the band) 4. getting a printed out timeline from your planner day of with names of people to give you toasts. * Even though we feel we delivered on 90% of what was requested, because of your displeasure with how the band executed on a few items at your wedding, we agreed to your request to only pay 1/2 of the total for our services, which we have never done before. Although this cannot fix things, we hoped it might give you some sense of satisfaction with what you felt were errors. We wish you all the best!

Perfection. Simply put, this band is THE band you want to book for any and all of your gatherings. Stop looking now. Book them. No, seriously. Stop looking and book them now before it's too late. The biggest no-brainer of all-time. Lead singer is amazing. Horns are exceptional. Key board players, guitar, drummer. They are the best, bar none. We chose to have them play our first dance song, father-daughter dance and mother-son dance songs and it was the best decision ever. Thank you HIGH FIDELITY!

High Fidelity was the best part of our wedding! We had so many people come up telling us how awesome the band did! They knew how to read the crowd and play exactly the songs to get everyone on the dance floor. We would highly recommend to anyone who is looking for a wedding band! When looking through other bands, they were very reasonably priced and totally worth every penny. They were easy to communicate with as well!
