“We looked all over OC for a place to have an outdoor ceremony and indoor reception that was beautiful and aesthetically neutral. Irvine Marriott on Von Karmann exceeded our hopes and dreams. From the process they made simple and easy, to the mostly inclusive venue (you just need a few additional vendors), to our guests having affordable rooms on site to enhance the experience. We customized our day to fit our vision and the team (Niki, Michelle, Chef, Thomas, etc) was amazing at supporting us to have the perfect day! We enjoyed the beautiful venue, the delicious customized food, a large getting ready room fit for the Kardashian’s, the photo opportunities in some special spots (IYKYK), the cocktail reception, the service/coordination (finding a last minute sewing kit to fix a bridesmaid’s dress with reassuring smiles), the honeymoon suite… our wedding weekend was perfection (and our guests all agree)! If you are looking for a venue, RUN to the Irvine Marriott!”

“The Secret Garden was the perfect venue for our group of 105 guests in May. It has an intimate feel, but still feels open and welcoming. The flowers were in bloom and the grass was very green. The coordination team did an amazing job accommodating all of our set-up requests and took great care of us on the day of. We are very pleased with everything and loved the preferred caterer and DJ that were part of the all-inclusive package. Overall we found this venue to be one of the more affordable options, especially given you bring in your own alcohol/drinks and can take home what’s leftover. This saved us at least 50/person. The surrounding area and city of Rancho Santa Fe are gorgeous. Parking was easy and all our guests loved the venue.”

“Our experience with Orange Hill was amazing! We only had our reception there, and it turned out better than I could have imagined. The staff were all great and helpful. I definitely recommend having your reception here! It was so beautiful and honestly, for everything you get with the packages, it’s more affordable than a lot of venues we were looking at. We had 86 guests and chose the Elegance package in the Starlight room, and it came with the room, all of the food (4 passed around appetizers, salad, bread and butter, entree), an open bar for 2 hours, a custom cake, and a patio area. I would skip out on the upgrades like changing the chairs or linens. Save yourself some money there, because it’s still beautiful without those upgrades. The food was absolutely delicious! We did the steak and chicken, and it was super yummy. I was nervous after reading a few reviews online of the food not being as good as during the tasting because it’s being mass produced, but that wasn’t the case at all! The one thing not included anywhere in the info packets is that you have no other option than to valet park, so just know that your guests will either have to pay for that, or you can pay for everyone’s valet and it’s 10 per car. We ended up paying for everyone’s valet which was another 500 so just be prepared for that if you don’t want your guests to have to worry about paying. It was an amazing day!”

The Estate OC
Rating: 5.0 (8 reviews)
Orange, CA
  • Up to 250 guests
  • All-inclusive
  • Outdoor
  • Starts at $13,000

Built in 1881, The Estate has been designated a historical site by the city of Orange. Seemingly untouched by time, this extraordinary property combines the natural landscape, rustic charm, and a dash of modern touch to become the picture-perfect backdrop for your dream wedding!

Why you'll love this venue

  • Surrounded by nature
  • Full catering menu to choose from
  • Has a dance floor to dance the night away

Venue considerations

  • Best for events with big guest lists
“My husband Jeff and I had the pleasure of celebrating our wedding at The Estate OC this October, and it was truly a dream come true. Finding a beautiful venue in Southern California that doesn’t require a high guest minimum is so difficult, but The Estate OC was everything we hoped for and more. If you’re looking for an intimate and romantic setting, this venue is perfect yet it can also comfortably accommodate larger parties. One of the best parts of The Estate OC is their all-inclusive packages, which make wedding planning so much easier. Ours included the DJ, catering, linens, bartenders, and a day-of coordinator. They offer different package tiers depending on your budget, plus a variety of affordable in-house add-ons (often much cheaper than hiring outside vendors). The food was delicious, they offer a wide variety of menu options, with your choice between plated service or buffet style. Everything we selected was beautifully prepared and received rave reviews from our guests. They also provide a beautiful chuppah (extra add on) option if you’d like your altar to have more visual impact. It added such a lovely touch to our ceremony and looked stunning in our photos. The photobooth was a hit with our guests! It came with fun props, and I loved that I could design my own custom photo template. The audio guestbook (a phone booth where guests leave voicemails) was another favorite. Listening to everyone’s messages afterward had us laughing and crying all over again. I even left a surprise voicemail for Jeff at the end of the night, which Mimi sent to us later. He had no idea until then… and yes, he cried. :) The only outside vendors we needed to book were our photographer, florist, and dance floor which makes total sense since those are so personal to your style and vision. Another huge plus: The Estate OC is BYOB. In my opinion, that’s a much better option than having a preset or cash bar. For a smaller wedding where you know your guests’ preferences, it’s a great way to save money. We spent about one-third of what most people typically pay for alcohol. Finally, I have to give special thanks to Mimi (Assistant Manager), Yanel (Consultant), and Sharon (Day-of Coordinator). They made everything run seamlessly from start to finish. Communication was quick, and they were so attentive throughout the planning process. On the day of our wedding, they checked in constantly and handled everything with care and precision. Whatever we needed, they were on it and thanks to them, our day was absolutely perfect.”

“We had our wedding at The Richland in August of this year, and it was great overall! The venue is small and charming but at the same time has plenty of space for guests to spread out and enjoy themselves. Michael, Katherine, and the support staff were extremely helpful and very attentive to our every need, question, and concern, promptly addressing each of the few issues that arose during our two day stay and throughout the wedding. The bridal suite was great! Plenty of mirrors, storage, and seating for everyone. The staff set out a variety of pastries, orange juice, champagne, and coffee for us - so nice! They also offer a cool looking trolley to shuttle guests back and forth from the Lemon parking structure leading up to the wedding. The boutique hotel rooms are nicely designed and comfortable. We had to reserve a standard room the night before since they had another event going on. Unfortunately, the TV in that room never connected to their WiFi network, so we just set it as artwork and used our iPad for entertainment. We reserved the Cottage for the day of the wedding, which was perfect as a "getting ready"/ hang out area for the groomsmen. The TV there worked well and had no issues. The front door stuck a bit so you had to put some extra effort into closing it all the way. The Cottage is beautifully decorated and had plenty of space for everyone to relax and be comfortable. We’re looking forward to staying here again in the future!”

“My review of The French Estate and their staff is long over due. In March 2026 we had a beautiful wedding for my brother and his wife. I helped my brother and his wife find this venue and from the beginning to the big day , everything was handled beyond our expectations. We ultimately chose this venue because it offered a Ceremony and Reception space, getting ready areas for both the Bride and Groom, and the best bonus of having an amazing venue coordinator help with the big day. My brother is a chef , and his biggest non negotiable was being able to cater food from a vendor of his choosing, a lot of other venues require you to use their caterer onsite , so The French Estate inclusive packages were perfect for making his vision come true. We booked the The Venue Essentials package that included all the tables and chairs, a venue coordinator , linens (saving us an additional expense), access to The French Estates decor, the setup and tear down of reception space and other adds were available. We took advantage of using the French Estate servers , and their venue bartender for cocktail hour and reception. The venue also provides a shuttle service for guests who park at the nearby structure, since the venue is on a residential street. The shuttle service on the day of the wedding worked perfectly to get all of our guests comfortably to the venue. WEDDING DAY On the day of the wedding everything ran so smoothly thanks to the venue coordinator , Alyssa. I live with Multiple Sclerosis , and thankfully Alyssa was there because without her the day of would have been a mess. She effortlessly handled ceremony, happy hour and reception decor setup while also making sure the bride and groom were always taken care of. She made sure our vendors were where they needed to be and set up on time. I really appreciate the care she took to make sure my brother and his wife got their dinner first, always had a drink and were happy. After dinner I wasn’t feeling well , and I was having a flare up and Alyssa made use I was comfortable and hydrated while i hid in the bridal suite. The serving staff was extraordinary making sure the older guests were comfortable by moving umbrellas during the reception , you can really feel the care from the staff and i really appreciate the hard work throughout the whole wedding. Also the bartender, Ross was so fun and kept the vibes high throughout the night and kept all the guests happy from cocktail hour and throughout the reception. My brother and his wife had the most amazing time , and most perfect beautiful wedding. Im so appreciative of The French Estate staff, you can really tell they love their jobs and enjoy what they do. The owners are amazing and I can give endless compliments to the venue coordinator,Alyssa. I will always highly recommend this venue to anyone I meet, and hopefully in the future this will be my wedding venue too !”

“We had our wedding here in July 2026 and I couldn't have asked for a better venue or team to work with. They made the process so seamless, and the venue is a dream!!! The venue being attached to the hotel was also super convenient for getting ready and for traveling family. Julie made me feel comfortable from the beginning (with zero pressure) when I toured and the way they do things made the wedding planning process so much less stressful for me. I also had a very particular vision for the decor, and they executed it perfectly. Couldn't recommend this team/venue enough :)”

“My husband and I got married at The Vintage Rose just three months ago in June 2026, and we honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience! I have so much praise for the venue, owner Rose, our incredible coordinator Jamie, and the entire staff. Here are the highlights: 1) They take care of SO many wedding details. This was huge for me because I wanted to minimize wedding-planning stress. Our package included the ceremony and reception spaces, lounge area, open bar with signature drinks, catering, DJ, florals for the space, photobooth, table settings/decorations, donut wall, and more. We really only had to arrange an officiant, photographer, cake, donuts, and our personal florals—and they even had recommendations for all of those. It made planning so much easier! 2) They’re dog-friendly! Our pup Benji was able to be part of our ceremony, which was incredibly special to us. Dogs can’t stay for the reception, but we hired a sitter who took care of Benji before and during the ceremony and brought him home afterward. I was so grateful that he could be included in such an important part of our day. 3) The pricing is very reasonable. We felt the pricing was straightforward and appreciated how flexible they were about helping us stay within our budget. Booking on a Friday evening or Sunday morning, for example, can be more affordable than a Saturday. I really felt like Rose was on our side and wanted to help us make it work. 4) The staff are wonderful. Rose was warm and welcoming from our very first tour, and the whole staff was incredibly kind and genuinely excited for us. And Jamie, our day-of coordinator, was AMAZING. She was attentive, organized, thoughtful, and somehow always seemed to know what I needed before I even asked. She handled all the little details that made the day run seamlessly, and both our family and bridal party were so impressed with her. She was truly a treasure! 5) Our guests loved it. Our family and friends raved about how smoothly everything ran, the food, open bar, DJ, photobooth, and the overall look and feel of the venue. They also appreciated the ample parking and were surprised by how beautiful the ceremony and reception spaces were inside. Interestingly, we had already attended two weddings at The Vintage Rose before having our own there, so we knew they knew what they were doing—and they absolutely delivered! We are SO happy we chose The Vintage Rose for our wedding and would highly recommend it to other couples.”

The Chapel of Orange was everything that I imagined. I visited a coupled more places, but the Chapel of Orange stayed in my heart. It was the right decision. The Chapel has a magical blend of classical charm and whimsical beauty that created the perfect atmosphere for our special day.
