It’s close to where I grew up and where my family lives in the Catskills. We started Viscosi Photography in 1993 covering equine events and weddings. John photographed for the Leader Herald newspaper for six years in addition to our wedding and portrait work. Debbie joined Viscosi Photography in 2000 enabling us to cover : weddings, family portraits, senior portraits, children’s portraits, schools, sports, pets, daycares, dance studios, proms and dances. After nearly a dozen years of photographing feature stories, covers, and events for a statewide labor union, I found a passion for capturing beautiful moments for families and couples in a candid, photo-journalistic style. In June of 2021, I had the immense privilege of photographing twenty-four weddings - and an engagement! - for Beekman 1802's "Let Love Bloom" wedding marathon in Sharon Springs, NY, and fell in love with wedding photography. It's an honor to document a couple's love story - each one completely different than the last.
