Couples can choose to celebrate their vows on the banks of Wheatmore Pond’s calm waters under a rustic arbor festooned in elegant white drapes. The venue’s barn welcomes large celebrations, and the farm’s overall capacity is up to 350 guests. Leading up to big day, the wedding party can use the Hunting Lodge for their rehearsal dinner. There are also separate get-ready spaces available for the couple and their entourage to use on the day of events.

The Farm on Groometown is a 40-acre working farm and barn wedding venue in southwest Greensboro, North Carolina, 3 miles off I-85, 12 minutes from PTI Airport and two miles from Grandover Resort. Couples get ready in the bridal and groom suites, say "I do" on a fenced ceremony lawn with open pasture and our longhorn cattle behind them, gather at the Silo Bar for cocktail hour, and celebrate in the white barn with its glass-enclosed reception space for up to 130 guests. Tables, chairs and cocktail tables, kitchen access for your caterer, four restrooms, free parking and Wi-Fi are all included. Weekend weddings start at $5,200 and Monday through Thursday weddings at $3,500. A remodeled 1926 farmhouse on the property sleeps up to 8 as a separate rental. Southern C's Farm is a lovely 127-acre working horse farm with green, rolling pastures surrounded by pine forests and sparkling 15 acre lake. It is well manicured, with flowers blooming year round. Your wedding will be the exclusive event on the property with access to the Lodge at Southern C's for overnight accommodations (4 bedrooms/4 baths) on the lake, the 1820 Log Cabin or the magnificent Hunt Box overlooking the horse pastures. All three accommodations are yours to select for members of your party to relax and get ready on this special day!
