Starting piano lessons at the age of four, Steve quickly developed a knack for music. During high school, he trained privately under the renowned NC School of the Arts music professor, Dr. Clifton Matthews. He can play with printed music, but prefers to play by ear, utilizing his unique ability to play any song he’s heard, and easily taking requests, often on the spot. Steve has performed with a variety of bands and duos along the East Coast, but likes to focus primarily on solo performances for wedding ceremonies, cocktail hours, dinner parties, and other elegant events.
