I do have a minimum for my weekend dates of 4 people. If you do not meet the minimum, you have pay my day rate of $700 for me to come onsite!

YES! I offer Bridal Preview Makeup for your Engagement Photos or Boudoir Session! Understanding how to create your look begins with getting to know YOU! This is why I recommend bridal previews, and I take so much time communicating with you. I want to make sure that not only you get a High-Quality makeup artist, but your amazing look will last through all the happy tears, hugs, and kisses on your special day.

Yes! Previews are offered to those who have officially booked with me. Previews allow us to perfect the look and make any adjustments if needed. This is a great way to try out your desired look before your special day. I include a Bridal Pamphlet with information about previews, and how to prepare for them upon booking.

Yes, I offer both in-house, and on-location services. As a makeup artist based out of Clemmons, North Carolina, please note that travel fees may apply for locations outside my standard service area.

It's always best to book as soon as possible to secure your preferred date, as waiting can allow others to book your date! Typically, weddings are booked on average at least 12-18 months ahead.

Upon confirmation of the service date, time frame, and price, a signed contract with a non-refundable retainer is required.

Christen was a pleasure to work with on our wedding day! She was prompt in all of our communications and very easy to collaborate with. She was always listening to my and my bridesmaids’ input to ensure we felt our absolute best in our wedding day looks! She made sure that everybody in our wedding party felt beautiful, regardless of their individual style preferences. Her efficiency and reliability helped our day run so smoothly. Christen's work was excellent and stayed on the whole day even after a summer outdoor wedding ceremony and also after dancing all night long. Christen is truly the best!!!

I booked Christen about two years before my wedding. She was so kind and understanding after I had to move my date three times due to the military. On the day of she asked a lot of questions and showed pictures of examples to make sure she knew exactly what I wanted and to make me feel beautiful. My wedding was in the North Carolina mountains where it was 90 degrees and 60% humidity. So, understandably everyone was very sweaty and hot. But throughout the whole day and after standing in the sun for an hour during the ceremony, I was not shiny, oily, or anything. I had probably every single person at my wedding tell me my makeup looked amazing and my makeup artist did so good, they couldn’t believe it honestly lol. Then at the end of the night my husband and I ran into the river with our wedding party, and guess what? Makeup was still perfect! I honestly wish I could hire Christen for every event in my life so she can make me look like that every single day.

Christen is attentive to details, listens to exactly what you want out of your make up and is somehow able to make you look better than you can imagine, communicative about the expectations you can expect out of her services, and on top of it all she is friendly and easy to talk to. Christen has done my make-up for several events including my wedding. She is the BEST and knows how to make you feel so beautiful!
