“We cannot recommend Said highly enough! He is incredibly professional and responsive to all our questions. It was clear from the start that he knew exactly what he was doing. Said took the time to ask all the right questions to truly understand the specific vibe and music we wanted for our wedding. He managed guest requests well (we didn't want everything to be played, and he did a fantastic job filtering through them so we only heard the music we actually liked). On the day of, his setup was fast, the sound quality was excellent, and his lighting made the dance floor fun. Our biggest priority was keeping people on the dance floor, and Said delivered. The floor was packed from the first song until the very end of the night! We are still getting comments from friends about how much fun they had and how impressed they were that the dancing never stopped. “The photographer, videographer, and photo booth was absolutely perfect and our guests had a blast! However, even after going through the work of submitting a Spotify play list and adding do not play songs or DJ played the wrong version of our first dance song (I checked and we had the correct version listed on our playlist we sent over), he also played songs from our do not play list to the point I, the bride, came over to ask if he had the wrong list. He admitted he was using songs from the do not play list as he was not paying attention. I would also like to note, though our wedding was more casual, our DJ was dressed in a sloppy manner. His shirt was half untucked from his pants, there were stains on his shirt and pants. Besides a few hiccups, direct Entertainment was wonderful to work with!”

He went above and beyond for our rehearsal, helping us run through every detail and setting up mics and speakers so efficiently that everything flowed seamlessly. It gave us such a peace of mind knowing he had everything under control. On the wedding day, Colin handled two complete sound setups - his wireless one for our outdoor ceremony and his main for the reception - and both were absolutely flawless! The sound quality was perfect the entire day; guests could hear every word of our ceremony and every speech crystal clear. There wasn’t a single hiccup. Then came one of the biggest surprises of the night - cold sparks! Colin and my husband had planned them without me knowing, and it was truly one of my favorite parts of the evening. It made our first dance feel straight out of a movie and the photos from that moment are unreal. If anyone is on the fence about adding cold sparks - DO IT! You won’t regret it. The Photo Booth was a huge hit with our guests! Colin recently upgraded with a printer which people were obsessed with being able to take home their photos (a little built in favor). “I found Mike via thumbtack & although on there it stated he was booked on my wedding date I thought I’d still reach out to him. I’m so happy I did because he put me in touch with our dj, thankyouteddy and he did an awesome job djing for our wedding! Mike was very informative and gave me plenty of information. He also has you do a questionnaire to help narrow down the right dj for you based off your music preferences. Mike will reached out periodically to follow up & also puts you in touch with the dj the week of the wedding to go over details. Teddy arrived on time and kept everyone on our toes throughout the night. The only thing I will say, is if you’re doing bridal party introductions it’s best to rehearse it if possible. Aaron had our dance floor FILLED and ROCKING all night long. I was nervous about missing a particular song (Pink Pony Club obvi) and let Aaron know in advance. “DJ Haze was THE perfect choice for our wedding day. From the very beginning, his communication style was detailed, VERY considerate, and he always put OUR wants and needs first. He was incredibly inclusive in making sure my Mexican side of the family got their Mexican music included lol I was so happy he did that without us asking for it, it made me so happy. The quality of his work was truly professional, fun, and lighthearted, creating a wholesome atmosphere that all our guests enjoyed. He’s a huge jokester so a lot of laughs were had when he’d speak on the mic. He went above and beyond, always checking in with US before doing anything to ensure it aligned with our vision. He was especially thoughtful, noting that our son has noise sensory issues due to autism, and immediately lowered the volume to a comfortable level to where my son was happy and all of the guests still danced their hearts out. He also recognized that I was experiencing foot pain and graciously allowed me to take breaks to sit down. When it came time for the father-daughter dance, he perfectly faded the music to accommodate my father's history of foot cancer knowing he needed to rest. DJ Haze was literally the best DJ we could have imagined for our wedding day, and we are so grateful for his exceptional service. I’d recommend him to anyone! And also, don’t forget to do your shot of tequila with him before the nights over! Lol, HE’S THE BEST!!!!!!!”

Our DJ was Jorden. Jorden was absolutely wonderful. He was super friendly and did an amazing job we had a couple small mix ups and he was so quick at fixing the problems that no one even noticed. He did an amazing job with following the schedule and making sure everything was prepared ahead of time. He did a great job reading the crowd and making sure everyone was having a great time!
