“We booked with DJ Tim for our May 2026 wedding reception and could not recommend him & Eddie more. We actually attended a Cleveland wedding featuring DJ Tim prior to our own wedding. We had so much fun on the dance floor (more than any other wedding we’ve been to, and we’ve been to a lot!) that we knew there would be practically no debate about who we would book for our own. Tim is so proactive and open with his communication, and his planning website makes it very easy to record all details & preferences. Eddie was our assigned DJ for our reception, and did a fantastic job understanding our needs beforehand, as well as touching base throughout the night. He kept the energy going the entire night, and there were literally zero lulls on the dance floor. Tim and Eddie are both 5/5 star professionals and we highly recommend!”

“The photographer, videographer, and photo booth was absolutely perfect and our guests had a blast! However, even after going through the work of submitting a Spotify play list and adding do not play songs or DJ played the wrong version of our first dance song (I checked and we had the correct version listed on our playlist we sent over), he also played songs from our do not play list to the point I, the bride, came over to ask if he had the wrong list. He admitted he was using songs from the do not play list as he was not paying attention. I would also like to note, though our wedding was more casual, our DJ was dressed in a sloppy manner. His shirt was half untucked from his pants, there were stains on his shirt and pants. Besides a few hiccups, direct Entertainment was wonderful to work with!”

“I cannot even put in to words how thankful I am that we had Tyson as our DJ at our wedding!! Our day was absolutely perfect and a large part of that was due to Tyson’s organization, creativity and fun spirit. We have not stopped receiving messages asking who our DJ was and for his contact information because he was just THAT GOOD!!! The dance floor was so crowded and not a single guest left early because Tyson curated the most perfect party through music. He kindly listened to all of our silly requests for song choices and also was able to gauge the crowd for what music they enjoyed. There was not a single song played that the whole room wasn’t dancing to and I was afraid to leave the dance floor to get dessert or a drink for fear of missing out on whatever the next song was about to be. “Jim at Hifi entertainment was great to work with! When it comes to dj’s there’s a few things I look for : Good communication, approachable, and knows his audience to keep the party going on the dance floor. He checked all these for me. As a videographer there have been a few times where key events were happening that I was never informed about. Jim made sure nothing important happened until I was in the room and ready to roll. That right there is a huge win. He kept me up to speed on everything happening that night. His audio system sounded phenomenal! He invests in great equipment and I have so much great footage of guests on the dance floor having an amazing night. I hope to work with him again real soon!”

“We were huge fans of Dueling Pianos as we had seen them several different places throughout the country. We just didn’t know how it would translate into wedding entertainment. From the first inquiry, Jason responded almost immediately and was very thorough and informative in his communication. We set up a phone call about a week later and we just knew it was going to be the right fit! The show was amazing and the entertainers really wowed the crowd. Soul Shake & The Eastside Horns

“Soul Shake and the Eastside Horns is a 10-piece high energy band that plays an extensive selection of music from the 1960's to today. They played for my son's wedding on September 15, 2025 and we could not have been happier! They were very professional and engaging with the wedding party and guests. They had a special crate with shakers and tambourines for audience participation on the dance floor too! We were able to preview the playlist and select songs that were personal to our special day. Communication was best done via email but text and phone calls were helpful for last minute updates and changes leading up to the wedding date. We had an outdoor farm style wedding and they were more than adequately prepared to play for this type of venue. As a courtesy, we provided an open air tent, beverages and food for the band members as most of them traveled an hour or more to our special event. The cost was very reasonable for our budget as well. I highly recommend you check out their internet webpage or look them up on Facebook. They play venues all over the Cleveland area, so it would be easy for you to catch a live show before booking. Enjoy! We certainly did!”
