I am Kimberly Hibbard. Why am I a photographer? After I graduated from Eastern Michigan University with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and Hearing-Impaired Education, I didn't plan to be a photographer until one day. I picked up my camera and took some random pictures. I posted some pictures on FB and several friends told me, "Girl! Seriously, you need to start a photography business and I need a family session! " Here I am. I have been doing it for seven years now, over 100 weddings and I love it!! I have amazing clients and I consider them to be family.

25 years ago, I watched my stepfather's home burn to the ground. Along with it went all the memories he had kept of my mother, who had passed away years before. My passion for photography grew after that traumatic event. Photography has become a need to capture memories for future generations, memories that I don't have anymore.
