McKenzie draws unique inspiration from her professional experiences. Her masters degree in art history, inherently and quietly inspires and informs the compositions and floral approach of Sweetfield. Previously, McKenzie worked at an interior design firm in NYC, which had the greatest impact to her overall aesthetics, design and approach to business - which is to always be thoughtful and make even the quietest of moments special. Her career as a photo and video producer honed McKenzie’s logistics, problem‑solving, and on‑site execution skills, ensuring every floral installation is efficient, composed with intention, and seamlessly executed.

Awarded Best of Zola
Working with McKenzie was one of my favorite parts of wedding planning. I shared my vision, she embraced it and ran with it. Her enthusiasm and wisdom gave me complete trust throughout the process. She was available and honest in all communications and the final arrangements she created were absolutely stunning. She provided an experience of color- all white at the rehearsal, white and yellow at the ceremony, adding pops of pink at cocktail hour, and an abundant display of every color in a waterfall of flowers at the reception. The flowers added so much joy to an already loving event, making it more special than my wildest dream! I’m forever grateful.

Something Borrowed Blooms

4.9

  • Starts at $250
  • Serves Statesboro, GA

Something Borrowed Blooms is the premier rent-and-return floral and décor company in the U.S., offering beautifully curated premium silk floral collections. Couples who choose to rent typically save up to 70% compared to the cost of traditional fresh flowers. Our collections include everything you need for your wedding day, from bridal and bridesmaid bouquets to boutonnieres, garlands, centerpieces, aisle markers, cake flowers, swags, flower combs and crowns, wedding décor, and more. Each design is thoughtfully curated to create a cohesive, elevated look from ceremony to reception.

Awarded Best of Zola
Something Borrowed Blooms provided the florals for our wedding and their service was expert, clear, and concise, though lacked any personal touch. The quality of their work was great - the florals looked beautiful, especially from a distance, and they were competitively priced. However, their shipping turnaround time was awful, with the flowers due back just 2 days after the wedding. This is more of a business than a vendor, so don't expect a lot of personalized care. While I ordered more florals than I ended up needing, it was worth it to have the full, lush look I was going for on our special day.

Flower Moxie – Do-It-Yourself Wedding Flowers

4.9

  • Starts at $350
  • Serves Statesboro, GA

In 2013, 8-year wedding veteran Amy McCord Jones realizes she wouldn't be able to afford to hire her own floral services if she was a bride. Then, Amy discovers that there is basically zero help available for DIY brides. No flower recipes. No instructions. No access to florist-grade blooms. Rude. So she launches Flower Moxie! Flower Moxie remains a humble, tucked-away small business out of Oklahoma City. We don’t zoom around on scooters in some fancy high-rise. We stock an average kitchen with canned wine and Aldi chips and listen to true crime podcasts while photographing curvy ranunculus. Join us. There’s cake, hugs, and acceptance here.

Awarded Best of Zola
Flower Moxie exceeded my expectations! We did a custom design and Cristen really captured what I wanted for our wedding day. The ordering process was so easy thanks to Cristen and I went further and did the modules to prep for getting them. As we got closer Alexa was so quick and helpful when I was panic asking a million questions. We had some delays and were getting close to my wedding day with little time to get the flowers done. Alexa jumped into action and was amazing in finding a wholesaler near me that had the flowers we wanted picked and ready for me to get in less than 3 hours. That made such a huge difference as I was able to have my helpers and get everything done before the day of my rehearsal dinner. On top of all of this I now am so proud to say I did all the florals for my wedding and they were everything I wanted! If you’re a fellow budget bride with a vision flower moxie is for you!

The Faux Bouquets

5.0

  • Starts at $175
  • Serves Statesboro, GA

Believe it or not, we often have people ask if our pictures throughout our website are showing a mix of fresh and faux and…no they aren’t! Although fresh florals are pretty, we are totally in love with poser-blooms all the way here and that’s what we design 100% of our orders with.

Awarded Best of Zola
We had the most incredible experience with the Faux Bouquets! From start to finish, Brittany was responsive, caring and efficient! We rented the ‘Moody Romance’ suite and I purchased an add on of a custom bridal bouquet and boutonnière! I had done thorough research on purchasing real flowers and while price was our driving factor, I loved the element of saving on waste with renting and the option to purchase a keepsake! Brittany spent time talking to me so many times about questions I had and was incredibly patient! With the custom bouquet, I was able to upload inspiration photos and she NAILED it! The shipping process was so seamless as well. Brittany provided the tracking numbers and thorough instructions on receiving and then returning the flowers. I pride myself on getting ALL the flowers returned in record time (Brittany said) ;) All of our guests couldn’t believe the flowers were fake and everyone was raving about them! Do yourself a favor and go with The Fuax Bouquets!

Awarded Best of Zola
We absolutely loved working with Natalie and her team at Agape! All of our flowers were exceptionally beautiful, and really helped make the day extra special. Natalie was so patient as we asked a million questions during the planning process, but she was always so kind and accommodating as we worked our way towards the perfect plan for our vision! She did such beautiful work, from a grounded arch to the aisle ties, from the boutonnieres to the bouquets, all which shine through in so many of our photos and will forever be a part of our memories. We were originally considering handling the florals ourselves after getting some pretty outrageous quotes from other floral design companies, but we’re so glad we did not take the DIY route— it saved us a massive ton of stress, especially the week of the wedding. We are so thankful we found Agape and were able to trust them with such a huge part of our special day – their kindness, professionalism and talent allowed us to truly enjoy the day knowing they were making everything look so amazing.

Avenue Design Studio is a travel wedding and special event florist, based in the Florida Panhandle and cover the entire East Coast! We have brought beautiful arrangements to our brides since 2015 and are looking forward to continued success in helping our couples make beautiful memories.

Awarded Best of Zola
Working with Avenue Design Studio was such a pleasure! While florals were important to me, I didn’t feel the need to be heavily involved, and their team made the process so easy. They truly listened to my vision, allowed for updates as my plans evolved, and then took care of everything from there. They were incredibly helpful in working within my budget, creatively repurposing ceremony florals for the reception tables, which made the whole evening feel cohesive and elegant. I appreciated their attention to detail, like including flowers I love (amaranthus) and avoiding ones I don’t (baby’s breath). Their ability to travel and stay all day to assist with setup was such a bonus. Highly recommend Avenue Design Studio!

A Floral Designs made our fairytale come true. Ayana and her team are incredibly talented, have an unmatched eye for detail/style, are communicative, and reliable. When we first reached out to A Floral, we chatted had been chatting with a few different florists. After our conversation with Ayana, the decision was easy. She listened to what we wanted and made it clear that she would get it right. Once we decided to go with her as our florist, the care and support didn’t stop. We visited her shop where she gave us beautiful displays of what we could expect on our big day. Most importantly, she worked with our budget to achieve our vision. She also came along during our venue walkthroughs so she could see the space and be adequately prepared for the wedding day. She’s also a kind person—which may not seem important now but trust me! A compassionate person who is willing to work with you when things get stressful is very valuable. I believe if you truly want someone who cares, has unmatched talent and work ethic, and can bring your vision to life, you absolutely have to go with A Floral Designs. Weddings are a celebration of love. As humans, we have a deep, primal need for a “village,” a group of people whom we trust to support us. So when we get together for a wedding, we get to share that love with those we care about. Just like a painter or a poet, those involved in the planning of a wedding are artists hired to create a scene that reflects the love in the space. We would love to be a part of your team!

She did SO, SO well! I cannot sing her praises enough. If you book her for your wedding, know that your vision will come to life exactly as you'd like, and that your voice and opinions will be heard! The flowers (on our order) came in large boxes, but they were not labeled, so it took a minute to get the flowers both identified and properly set up. To be fair we were warned about the process, but not about the length of time due to our inexperience. As a note, it took my fiancé 5 hours to process the flowers when first receiving them. I also did not have any updates from them from the time I ordered till they were being shipped. They were beyond more affordable compared to other florists, and the flowers arrived alive and in good spirits. We were able to keep the flowers alive for over four days!! Many of the flowers that we chose did not have specific instructions, so we had to follow the general reference for the flowers and hope for the best. Additionally, some of the flowers that we wanted were not in stock, and they were replaced for us with substitutes but were not notified until we had all of the flowers already delivered to us. Also, as a note, bloom culture uses third party sellers for their flowers, so the quality may vary depending on location. Our flowers were in good condition, and the company we had clearly took good care of the flowers prior to delivering them to us. Would we do it again? Probably not, but it made for good laughs and bonding time and we have stories to tell from it!

Our florist was truly one of my favorite vendors from our entire wedding team. From our very first conversation, she made me feel seen, confident, and completely understood. She listened so thoughtfully to our vision and worked within our budget in a way that never made us feel limited — only excited. One detail that meant so much to me was incorporating feathers into our arrangements — ostrich, peacock, striped coque, silver pheasant, hackle, and goose feathers. She hadn’t worked with feathers before, but instead of hesitating, she was completely open to the assignment. I sourced them myself and shipped them to her ahead of the wedding, and she embraced the vision wholeheartedly. What she created was beyond anything I could have imagined. She perfectly combined the feathers with the florals I loved in a way that felt tasteful, elevated, and in perfect harmony — nothing overwhelming, nothing forced. It was artistic and intentional and somehow even more beautiful than the vision in my head. The arrangements were EXACTLY what I had imagined — and even better in real life. They complemented our venue so effortlessly and elevated the entire atmosphere of the day. It still brings tears to my eyes when I think about my bridal bouquet. She personally delivered it to me while my bridal party and I were taking pictures, and it truly took my breath away. I will never forget that moment. I can’t and won’t ever get over it. If you’re looking for someone creative, collaborative, incredibly talented, and genuinely invested in bringing your vision to life — she is it. I cannot recommend her enough.

From the beginning, Darian was incredibly collaborative—she worked closely with both me and our planner, taking the time for multiple meetings to ensure her floral designs aligned perfectly with our vision and aesthetic. Her work was breathtaking, and every detail felt thoughtful and intentional. We truly couldn’t have chosen a better florist.
