McKenzie Lynah is the founder and owner of Sweetfield Flowers, a bespoke luxury floral studio rooted in the landscapes and stories of coastal Georgia. A fifth‑generation Savannah native, she draws creative and cultural inspiration from her family land and the enduring traditions of the lowcountry. Down the road from where she was born sits a simple yet sublime cinderblock Southern church, Sweetfield of Eden Baptist Church. Following in her father’s footsteps—with his 1970’s River Street leather shop, Sweetfield Leather—the name Sweetfield honors family heritage and reflects a deep commitment to place, memory, and craft.

Sweetfield Flowers specializes in lush, organic, richly layered floral compositions for weddings and special events. McKenzie’s studio practice centers on intention and care: sourcing from local flower farmers and conscientious wholesalers, designing in a warm, inspiring home studio, and treating every choice—from the first conversation to the final placement—with sensitivity and purpose. McKenzie blends artisanal technique with an intuitive design sensibility to compose elegant arrangements that transform spaces into luxurious atmospheres that move and linger with guests.

An Ethereal Dream
Sweet Field Flowers created an ethereal dream for my daughter’s beach wedding in the simple medium of flowers. Their excellence from vision to execution made the entire process easy. The best part was that when McKenzie and her crew arrived, they went straight to work, allowing me to spend time with my daughter getting dressed and making memories without being pulled away with questions. Sweet Field Flowers elevated the wedding in the form of delicate dahlias, precious peonies, white roses, and a gorgeous assortment of wildflowers. Thank you for being part of the undercurrent that made this special day flow so magnificently.

Spring Wedding by
Working with McKenzie was one of my favorite parts of wedding planning. I shared my vision, she embraced it and ran with it. Her enthusiasm and wisdom gave me complete trust throughout the process. She was available and honest in all communications and the final arrangements she created were absolutely stunning. She provided an experience of color- all white at the rehearsal, white and yellow at the ceremony, adding pops of pink at cocktail hour, and an abundant display of every color in a waterfall of flowers at the reception. The flowers added so much joy to an already loving event, making it more special than my wildest dream! I’m forever grateful.

Always wonderful to work with Sweetfield!
I have worked with Sweetfield on many event engagements and Mckenzie and her team have been AMAZING. From more practical event needs to large in-depth installation projects, Sweetfield has always produced beautiful work. They have always executed on-time and very receptive of feedback and changes. I highly recommend!

Sweetfield Flowers is amazing!
McKenzie of Sweetfield Flowers is an absolute floral genius! Her talent goes far beyond creating beautiful arrangements—she has a true gift for turning flowers into art. She designed the most extraordinary arrangement for my mother’s funeral, something so unique and stunning it truly stood apart from anything I’ve ever seen. I’ve also attended weddings where her work quite literally became the topic of conversation—it’s that unforgettable. McKenzie works seamlessly with any venue and for any occasion, always bringing her signature creativity and care. I cannot recommend her enough!
