Bloom Lake Barn is a freshly renovated wedding and event venue located in Shafer, Minnesota near the gorgeous St. Croix River. Set in the picturesque St. Croix valley, Bloom Lake Barn provides that "out of the way" country charm a short 40-mile drive from the Twin Cities. The wooden barn is enormous and contains vaulted ceilings and gorgeous chandelier and cafe lighting. The lower level of the barn is another unique space containing rustic beams and high-top tables built from original stanchions. The courtyard includes a Pavillion, bonfire pit, lawn games, and a walking trail through the woods

Surrounded by fields and forests, the Braham Event Center is a modern banquet hall with rustic decor on the outside and a modern, open floor plan on the inside. Our main feature is our large window with a view to beautiful birch trees, perfect for ceremonies in addition to receptions. The center can host parties of up to 400 people, with a large lobby and a library which serves as the bridal suite. Our on-site caterer, Kathy’s Kitchen, provides delicious and affordable meals. The Braham Event Center is located one hour north of Minneapolis and St. Paul, just off Highway 65 on the outskirts of Braham, Minnesota, minutes away from Pine City, Rush City, Mora, and Cambridge, and is conveniently located between Duluth and the Twin Cities.

In 1910, President Taft signed the bill to establish Glacier National Park as the country’s 10th national park. Mr. Healy was given a plumbing contractor for the train depot here in St. Paul, where he met Samuel Bartlett, the architect of many of the railroad depots and Glacier National Park Lodge. Healy then commissioned Bartlett to renovate and enlarge the house. In 1914, the farm was sold to John Healy, the owner of Healy Plumbing and Heating Company of St. Paul. Mr. Healy’s company became closely tied to the Great Northern Railroad, as it provided the heating and plumbing for many of the train depots that were being built around the country at that time. The farm was named Hope Glen Farm, the name of John Healy’s mother’s maiden name of Hope, and the house settles in a Glen, thus Hope Glen.

Willow Tree winery is a small boutique style winery located just north of the Twin Cities in Ham Lake, Minnesota.
