There is a side porch overlooking the sprawling green lawns and giant trees for cocktails and receptions. Stone-raised stairs and a landing in their memorial garden provide the ideal backdrop for any wedding ceremony, speech, or picture session. In 2017, the Alliance transformed the barn into a great gathering place. The recently completed renovation brings contemporary comfort and energy efficiency to a setting that still retains its authentic character. The Tavern (Groom's Tavern) has its original barn beams as this was at one time a bank barn. The rustic charm matches the rod iron chandeliers in the room leading to the tavern. In 2007 the former owners built an addition to the facility that speaks volumes, equipped with windows throughout to show off the amazing view... It really is breathtaking. Today the owners have renovated all the rooms in the building but, kept the rustic charm. Conveniently located in Wilmington, Delaware, The Farmhouse is family owned and operated and hosts one event per day. The historical estate boasts a beautiful outdoor ceremony site underneath romantic willow trees & four acres of manicured grounds and gardens. Hosting up to 190 guests, the Farmhouse offers numerous indoor spaces for your event including the bright and open main terrace hall, indoor lounge and bar, dressing suites and more. Outside, a large wrap around deck and patio overlook the gazebo bar & gardens. The Farmhouse is proud to be a women-owned business, still managed by the fourth generation of the Murray family. Newly restored, award winning and historic stone barn from the early 1800's. The property boasts three climate controlled spaces allowing you to have the ceremony, cocktail hour & reception in different spaces. You get to choose an indoor or outdoor ceremony location with the option to move to the indoor ceremony space the morning of your wedding. Packages are designed to be all-inclusive and stress free with catering & venue combined. Day of coordinator, bartenders, and service staff along with all china, glassware, flatware & 59 colors of linens are included in our catering rates. All Setup & Tear down of your decor is handled by staff so you are able to relax and enjoy your day.

The Horticulture Center, located in Philadelphia’s beautiful Fairmount Park, includes a modern exhibition hall and greenhouse on stunning historic grounds. The Center was built in 1979 and sits on the site of the former Horticultural Hall, an 1876 Centennial Exposition building. Boasting both intimate indoor and large-scale outdoor gathering spaces, the Horticulture Center is the ideal setting for unique private celebrations, exceptional weddings, and memorable corporate events.
