“Fernando was great to work with, I believe he is the owner. The purpose for my 4 stars was for a couple of reasons; I sent over timelines and the finalized timeline was great! However, I don’t believe that the DJ that came to my wedding read it over thoroughly. My bridal entrance song was botched, it had very detailed instructions, there didn’t seem to be any questions, however, it was started late into the song so my whole grand entrance was thrown off, it was supposed to be a surprise to my husband, but with it starting later into the song it didn’t offer me my grand entrance as the bride; I was very disappointed as I was patiently waiting to enter at a certain time of the song and finally just had them open the doors to enter at a completely different time in the song. As a bride when you spend months and months for that moment, it just made me very sad that it was taken from me. Another area, which was also detailed in the timeline, was for the bride and sons dance, I requested to have everyone on the dance floor for that dance because my kids are younger and I didn’t want them to feel like everyone was staring at them or get stage freight, however the DJ had everyone leave the dance floor and we were up there alone. I had to check to make sure he had the correct timeline because it seemed like there were things that just seemed off. The last thing was we started with a DJ named Mathew, he was unresponsive when I reached out to him in December, we finally had to reach out directly to the owner who took care of us from there. The DJ at our wedding, on all other things did great! Even our last dance he brought a speaker outside for us to dance under the lights which was a great idea. I would say it would have been great to have spoken directly to the DJ that would have been at our wedding prior to the wedding as these little issues could have been sorted during that time. All communication was through Fernando, he was very responsive.”

And our DJ Rob Goodmonson! We cannot thank him enough for the amazing work he did at our wedding! We loved his energy and all of his questions that he had for us during our phone call consultation. I in particular am very grateful that he was so willing to help me with a special song request which required mixing bits from two songs together for my Father-Daughter dance. He was more than up for the challenge and was so helpful with it! When it came to the actual wedding, he was so kind when introducing himself on our wedding day and did a beautiful job MCing. We wanted more minimal MC work and he nailed it perfectly! He was also super flexible with last minute announcement requests that we had. For example, we realized no one was noticing the anniversary cards we put out for signing at the dinner tables, so we asked him to make a little announcement about it and he did great doing that on the spot! Finally, the music all night was absolutely fantastic. He really listened to what we wanted and he delivered! The music felt very much like “us” and we had so much fun dancing all night long. Everyone kept talking about how great he was and several people said it was the best wedding music they have ever heard. If we ever need a DJ again, without a doubt, we will be hiring DJ Rob!”

When the music had to stop at the end of the night, the dance floor was still completely full and no one wanted it to end. He did a great job announcing the events of the night, made sure that our ceremony music was perfect, and he stuck to our wedding playlist with the exception for a couple guest requests (which we were happy to allow). We were so happy and thankful to have Jeff there! Sie, our videographer also did a wonderful job! We have not yet received our video as our wedding was less than 2 weeks ago, but I already know it is going to be amazing. He was so great with communication, was prompt with his timing, and he even set up a second camera for guests to break away and give us well wishes for our marriage, which I'm so excited to watch back. He was very professional and wonderful to work with. We decided to add videography at the last minute because we thought we might regret not having it, and I am SO happy we asked Jim at Direct Entertainment if they had someone available for our day just a month before, and they did!! Jim, the coordinator at Direct Entertainment frequently checked in with us, asked us questions about ourselves, and genuinely made us feel like he cared about us and our special day. He was great to work with leading up to being assigned our designated DJ and videographer, and even after, he checked in to make sure we were happy and that all of the planning was going well. Overall, we would 1000% recommend Direct Entertainment for any wedding entertainment needs! Hello, I'm Danny, I’m the lead DJ and owner of DJ Danny Garcia. I’ve been a DJ since 2009 and I’ve been in the wedding industry since 2017. Music is everything and it’s super important at any type of event. I’m Puerto Rican but was born and raised in Orlando, FL and most of my family is from New York. So growing up, I was exposed to so many different types of music! So nowadays, I have the ability to play and infuse all types of genres such as Top 40, Latin, Hip Hop, R&B, House, Reggae, Freestyle, Classic Rock and much more.

During the planning process, he has an app for couples to use which has everything to help the day run smoothly and to help curate the vibes for your ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, and dance floor. He is also quick to respond and helpful for any questions you have throughout the entire planning process, and during planning meetings, he goes over both big picture ideas and small details you wouldn’t have considered to make the day flow well. On the day of the wedding, he had perfect transitions during ceremony music, and he edits songs with seamlessly when needed. As an MC, he was so engaging with guests, he made the order of events flow without us having to think or worry about anything, and he brought the energy to another level. The dance floor was a huge highlight of the night for us and for all of our guests—two months out from our wedding day, we still have friends and family compliment how energetic and fun the dance floor was compared to other weddings they have been to. He truly knows how to read the crowd and tailor the setlist to match the energy of the couple and guests. If we had to redo our wedding day a thousand times, we would pick Danny every single time. He’s the best in the business, and we would recommend him to anyone getting married who wants a personalized, flawless, professional DJ experience.
