Hi! I'm Nicole Murphy and I'm the lead photographer of The Murphys. I’ve been fortunate enough to photograph engagement sessions and weddings in 13 different states. Throughout the years I’ve documented intimate elopement ceremonies and weddings with over 250 guests. As an artist I crave a real connection with my couples. I look for couples who are truly in love and are willing to put their trust in my vision. My photographs are often described as warm, natural, romantic, and timeless. Photography is my absolute passion and it shines through my images when I capture them. I live for the authentic moments... the raw emotions of the day. The tears that fall during a first look, the last hug with your parents before you walk down the aisle, and the ear to ear smiles once you've said "I Do". Those are the moments I promise to capture! I blend candid and guided shots, giving you the freedom to move about the day to enjoy it, while never having the thought of “what should I be doing” running through your mind. My passion for photography and weddings began when I was very young. I staged Barbie weddings, making their dresses from Kleenex, then snuck Mom’s camera to take pictures of them. I moved on to dressing up my little sister in a pillowcase veil, again sneaking Mom’s camera. When she got tired of me using up all her film, she brought home several Bride magazines from the free pile at the library and I spent hours reading them, then pinning pages of beautiful wedding dresses on the ceiling of my bedroom. When “The Wedding Planner” came out in 2001, my fate was sealed
