“We first met Wendy a few weeks before our wedding to do a walkthrough of the venue, and instantly fell in love with her. We knew right away that she would be a dream to work with on our wedding day, and we were right! Wendy and Liz made us feel so comfortable on our wedding day and kept us laughing and giggling right from the very beginning. The photos were so amazing! They were clear and beautiful and there was a wonderful balance of both candid and posed photos that captured the details of the day. We got pregnant soon after getting married and when our son was born, there was not a second of hesitation in choosing Wendy for our newborn photos. Once again, Wendy and Liz showed up with the same positive and high energy attitudes that we experienced on our wedding day, and the photos captured our son Charlie perfectly. “A few things that stood out the most about Isaac were how responsive he was, how he was able to accommodate to our budget, and how he took pictures from angles and views that turned out great on the photos. As a couple with demanding careers, I much appreciated how quickly Isaac was with replying to emails. We had a pretty tight budget, and Isaac was able to offer us a package that landed pretty close to our budget and only had the items that we needed the most (mini engagement photoshoot for the website and wedding day). Our ask for him was to get some candid shots as we feel pretty awkward in front of the camera. I personally think that the wedding day pictures came out more naturally because of the setting being surrounded with friends and families, and Isaac and Sushen did a great job capturing the candid moments beautifully. Isaac even had an idea for me to pose by climbing up a wooden stair ladder for a shot that I honestly wasn't sure how it was going to turn out while doing it, but it ended up turning out beautiful and magazine-like in addition to other ones that he asked us to pose for. Isaac put together a behind the scenes video that also showed the reactions of guests to our photo place cards before we had entered the reception area, and this was lovely in that we got to see our guests' reactions that we weren't able to see.”

Very relaxed (at least it seemed haha) and didn't add any stress to the day but gave direction and professional opinion when needed. I have to admit, I didn't have much of a plan when it came to photos but he truly captured everything I wanted and took the best candids that I will cherish forever. He also made a point to ask us several times throughout the night if there was any specific photos that we wanted. Our one wish was to take a lot of staged shots before the ceremony so that we would make it to our cocktail hour and he made that happen, no problem! “Working with Villa was one of the best choices we made as part of wedding planning. During the initial planning, she was responsive, thoughtful, and considerate of our vision. She understands that most people have never planned a wedding before helped us not only plan photos, but reorganize our reception to flow better. My husband and I are very photo shy, enough so that we debated on whether or not to even hire a photographer for the wedding. Villa was so great at directing interesting, natural poses that didn't feel forced or awkward in the moment. We opt-ed not to do an engagement shoot, but if we had to do it all over again, we absolutely would with Villa. During day of, Villa was extremely detailed and organized. She arrived early to the venue to capture photos and understand the space overall. She was very good about taking photos in a way that didn't interrupt the flow of events while navigating a fairly large and irregularly shaped venue. We received a great blend of editorial and photo-journalistic images that really captured the day beautifully. She has a great eye for wide shots, close up details, and artistic framing. Our wedding day started on a sunny day at noon and ended in the evening. Villa shot great photos throughout all the lighting changes during the day including many flash photography and low light shots after the sun had set. The best surprise were the polaroids and the sneak peek book she created and shared during the reception – seeing the photos in real time made us so excited for the actual photos. We’ve looked through our gallery a hundred times and still find new favorite moments every time. One of the best decisions we made was adding on her content creator option—it was SO worth it & Jade captured the best moments of the night, set them to music and within a day we had a reel to share with our loved ones. Rachel and her team captured the very best moments that day all while allowing us to have fun and be ourselves.
