While their communication was a bit delayed leading up to the event, they were ultimately effective in executing on the day-of. The DJ kept the party going all night with a good song selection, though they did play 3 Taylor Swift songs in a row at the start, which we would have preferred more variety. The MC's ad-libs got a little overbearing at times, but overall they did a nice job sticking to the schedule and making important announcements. The team was professional, great at communication, very kind and professional, and they helped make our day absolutely perfect! Jeff, our DJ kept the dance floor alive ALL NIGHT!! When the music had to stop at the end of the night, the dance floor was still completely full and no one wanted it to end. He did a great job announcing the events of the night, made sure that our ceremony music was perfect, and he stuck to our wedding playlist with the exception for a couple guest requests (which we were happy to allow). We were so happy and thankful to have Jeff there! Sie, our videographer also did a wonderful job! We have not yet received our video as our wedding was less than 2 weeks ago, but I already know it is going to be amazing. He was so great with communication, was prompt with his timing, and he even set up a second camera for guests to break away and give us well wishes for our marriage, which I'm so excited to watch back. He was very professional and wonderful to work with. We decided to add videography at the last minute because we thought we might regret not having it, and I am SO happy we asked Jim at Direct Entertainment if they had someone available for our day just a month before, and they did!! Jim, the coordinator at Direct Entertainment frequently checked in with us, asked us questions about ourselves, and genuinely made us feel like he cared about us and our special day. He was great to work with leading up to being assigned our designated DJ and videographer, and even after, he checked in to make sure we were happy and that all of the planning was going well. Overall, we would 1000% recommend Direct Entertainment for any wedding entertainment needs! “Our DJ Devin Clark - Columbus Wedding & Event DJ was the absolute best. He was so attentive to every detail of the wedding, especially during our multiple planning meetings. Everything was so organized. He worked so well with our other vendors to make sure music ran smoothly through the ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner and reception. He also spoke with every person who would be giving a speech to make sure they knew exactly what to do. The best part about Devin is the energy he brought to the dance floor. He played all of the songs that my husband and I wanted to hear and if I had a request during the wedding he played it right away. You can tell he really enjoys what he does. He is also great at bringing the energy back up on the dance floor. There was one time during the night where everyone cleared out from dancing because it was quite hot. Devin had the idea of slowing it down for a slow dance, which got everyone to come back to the dance floor right before he picked up the beats again. We got so many compliments saying that he played so many good songs and the remixes were also so good. I highly recommend getting Devin from JSP for your event.”

“I can’t rave enough about DJ Scott. He was a dream to work with!! Everything was so perfect he made sure the timing of the songs in our ceremony were right on time. He checked in with us all night at the reception to make sure we were having fun and still liked the music. He made our toddlers night playing all of his favorite music and making him feel very important!!
