Sterling Hills By Wedgewood Weddings provided excellent service for our wedding day. Their communication was very clear and professional throughout the planning process. The venue itself was beautiful, spacious, and immaculately clean. The staff was extremely attentive to our needs, making sure we had food and drinks at all times. Our night was absolutely perfect - the food was phenomenal, the DJ was awesome, and the decorations were set up exactly as we had requested. We danced and made merry all night long! Venue considerations

  • Does not have a dance floor
  • Large venue, not ideal for small guest lists

After touring venues consistently on Sunday mornings, we canceled future tours after visiting Hartley Botanica. When looking for a venue, we wanted it to be outdoors and breathtaking since both of us enjoy a special connection to nature. We also were not able to consider a destination wedding because many of our guests live locally and our love story mainly takes place in Southern California. For all of these reasons and more, Hartley Botanica became our venue. The team works incredibly hard to meet rising expectations and they definitely deliver. They are a dream team to work with and I love every step of the planning process. Planning a large event, especially a wedding is complicated and the team does their best to keep it simple and grant your every request. We are so thrilled with how our wedding turned out.

This was the best venue! The staff was so nice, we loved our coordinator for our wedding planning and for the day of, she was so helpful and kind. Ken and his staff were also so welcoming. My husband and I stepped foot on the land and instantly knew this was where we wanted to get married. We got married 1.5 years ago but guests still tell us to this day how much they loved our venue. There’s plenty of parking, I loved how everything is nicely sectioned off without creating actual rooms or borders. There’s plenty of place for games and photos and everything you need here. I honestly wouldn’t change a thing about our wedding and highly recommend this venue. Would get married to my husband again here 10/10 lol!

I recently had my wedding here on March 16, 2024. I had to come and leave a review because my husband and I are so happy with our experience. From the moment we booked the venue (March 2023) until the day of our wedding, the staff at Pacific View Tower was very responsive and always available for questions. Brittany is a true rock star and not only made our vision come to life but exceeded all our expectations. Along with that, their floral vendor, Maribel, really listened to my wants and made our wedding look stunning. All of our guests were blown away by the venue, the service, and the food. Rancho de las palmas is what dreams are made of! I loved the fact that only one event happens at a time so we didn’t have to share the space with anyone else. From the beautiful bridal suite to the option for a tree house-like play area for the kids with the option to hire babysitters, the venue offers it all. As a bonus they even offer an option for a pay-it-forward room that offers an incredible amount of decor items to choose from and all the little details that can be stressful to put together or sometimes can be forgotten about like card holders or signage options. Getting married in southern california can be expensive but I found that their prices were incredibly reasonable in comparison to other places. What I was most impressed with were the professionalism and attentiveness of the coordinators Laura and Jenn. Laura was always there to answer questions and was right there from beginning to end to make sure that our day was perfect. When we had an issue with our cake delivery on the day of, they went above and beyond to take care of the problem while making sure everything ran smoothly and stress-free. Words cannot truly describe what an amazing experience our wedding was and Laura and Jenn were the ones that made it all possible. Thank you both! Would highly recommend to anyone looking to book a venue!

The Ojai Retreat & Inn was everything we could have asked for for our wedding in early November!! We rented the whole property for our wedding party and the weekend felt like a dream oasis! Before the wedding, we were able to immerse ourselves in the serenity of the Ojai Retreat by taking a stroll on the nature path. We also enjoyed nearby restaurants (Bonnie Lu's for breakfast and Ca'Marco for our Rehearsal Dinner) that were a short car ride away. We used the living room area and the upstairs library for getting ready spaces and they were well air-conditioned and provided more than enough space for all of us- without the groom seeing the bride, of course. Then during our ceremony and reception, the beauty of the landscape and views made for marvelous photos and memories! It was truly magical and felt like an enchanted fairytale! On top of the beauty of the property, everyone who works at the Ojai Retreat & Inn is so kind and helpful! A special thank you to Dana and Lia for your help and to all the workers who helped move lawn furniture before our rentals needed to unload. They were so flexible with us and worked with us on our many random questions and requests. We can't wait to come back to the Ojai Retreat & Inn for our anniversaries!!

I am truly not even sure where to start with how magnificent Newhall Mansion was as a wedding venue. The house itself is breathtaking and truly showstopping -- my husband and I drove away from our first venue tour knowing beyond a shadow of a doubt that this was the place we were meant to be married. Every inch of the house is absolutely stunning. One of the hardest decisions we had to make was which backdrop to use for our ceremony, because there were no bad options! Our photographers had a multitude of options for backdrops and establishing shots for our wedding video. It gave every inch of California chic, but also eccentric old money, and every single touch was intentional and well thought out. Our menu was thoughtfully designed by Chef Giancarlo, and four months later my mother is still lamenting the fact that she did not bring home leftovers because the filet that we chose to serve was so spectacular. We LOVED the option for family style dining as it allowed for all of the best parts of a buffet (self-serve, dietary restrictions already accommodated, opportunity for seconds) with the elegance of a plated meal. Crystal, the venue manager, was thoughtful, kind, patient, considerate, and timely in all of her communication leading up to the wedding, and was on-site for the entire weekend. We LOVED having the chance to invite some of our closest friends and family to stay at the house with us the night before and the night of the wedding. Some of my most cherished memories from the weekend are from the night before and the morning after, where we were surrounded by the people who love us. It was also absolutely wonderful to be able to arrive a day early to get set up, and then have an extra morning to get everything packed up and ready to take home. And on the actual day of the event, the event staff were truly amazing. Under the leadership of Crystal, Giancarlo, and Rick, and the guidance of our INCREDIBLE day-of coordinators Melissa and Sandy (from Tricia Dahlgren Events, who I also highly recommend), the event ran without a single hitch. I never, ever thought that, as a type-A bride with a background in event planning, I would be able to put my phone down, unplug, and float through my day -- but I could!! I truly cannot say enough about Newhall Mansion. They set the perfect backdrop for my dream wedding, and I would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone who is planning a unique, slightly quirky, but classy and chic wedding.

From the moment we booked The Gardens at Los Robles Greens almost two years ago, their communication was always prompt and informative. Leading up to the wedding, they answered all my emails promptly and always made me excited for my wedding. The venue provided a day for all couples getting married in the next 4-6 months to taste the delicious food options and see the elegant rental displays, which made it easy for us to envision our perfect day. We were getting married in May so our "tasting day" was in the November before. A month before the wedding, we met with the director to finalize the floor plan for our ceremony and reception, and they handled all the setup so everything looked electric, clean, and beautiful. The one challenge I had as a bride was their rule about not having a place to refrigerate the cake prior to it being set out during the wedding, but our baker was able to deliver it at the right time so that it stayed fresh during the evening. The Gardens at Los Robles Greens truly made our special day incredibly easy and stress-free. We are so grateful for their excellent service and stunning venue.

So I came to this brewery once before it was set to be the venue for my college friends wedding, since I lived close by and I’d already heard of it before from coworkers my bf and I decided to make a date night of it and check it out. I will say as a brewery I loved the vibe inside with live music, good beer, food trucks that were amazing that day plus I’m a sucker for brewery board games and dogs so all around great time! I’m not gonna lie though being there I couldn’t really envision it as a wedding venue at the moment, it was just a very different setting from ones I’ve been to before and when they said ceremony and reception would all be at the same place I was honestly confused on how it would all work.. So when I say I was absolutely AMAZEDDDD like jaw dropped instantly a few weeks later coming back in for the wedding it almost didn’t seem like the same place - the whole venue was reserved for the event and they were able to transform the seemingly small space into such a beautiful rustic and romantic setting for a wedding I was shook and stunned and all the things - turns out love makes magic possible and I just know nothing about special awareness apparently lol so aside from all the flowers and decor inside making it a dark aesthetic dream the back area was actually laid out diagonally for the ceremony and perfectly suited for an aisle with seating on both sides that didn’t feel crowded at all. It was a beautiful outdoor ceremony with no actual outside type noises like we heard no cars or any business distractions (which is kind of a pet peeve for me when attending outdoor weddings) just the live singer/guitarist! and then after the ceremony we were able to seamlessly transition into cocktail hour inside the brewery which just felt so right cause duh and by the time we made it back outside for reception it was somehow transformed again with tents and tables for dinner plus a dance area with the DJ and lights! I would never ever have guessed this beautiful wedding venue I was dancing in under white twinkly lights was the same place I was playing giant jenja in with my bf listening to covers of emo bands just a few weeks prior. All around great use of the space and this is just extra I guess but it was so close to the 101 freeway getting home was a breeze for us personally and I know a lot of the family was staying just up the street at the hotels nearby so when the newlyweds did their sparklers send off and drove away from the back area it was actually a great way for everyone to make their way around to the parking lot and disperse for the night. idk about most but personally I just love a clean getaway after the bride and groom leave post wedding.. So if you made it this far thanks for reading, hope it helped and apologies for the super long rant I just can’t get over this place enough and as I’m now looking for venues myself as a 2028 bride I came across this place and had to stop to write about it cause this one definitely changed my whole perception on what a venue could become, it altered my mentality of not judging a venue by what it looks like initially cause potential and vision are truly everything and they have that here for sure! So I wanted to drop by and give them their flowers and to help out those considering it, from my first hand experience because if I wasn’t having a destination wedding this place would definitely be a contender for us. Anyways, Happy venue hunting and congrats to future newlyweds!!

The Sheraton Agoura Hills was a fantastic hotel for our wedding weekend. It was conveniently located next to our venue, and all of our guests enjoyed their stay. We hosted our rehearsal dinner there and also loved having breakfast at the hotel, and everything went smoothly. The staff was kind and accommodating, the food was good, and the bar was a fun place for guests to gather after the wedding. They worked with us on our room block and budget, and while we did need to remind them about some dietary needs like vegan, pescatarian, and kids’ meals, everything was handled and our guests were happy. It was a great home base for our wedding weekend.

The Vineyards was hands down the best decision we made for our wedding day! The entire team (Shadi, Jimmy, Soroor, Deena) was helpful from the moment we toured the Vineyards to the moment we left on our wedding day. The venue is beautiful, lush, and meticulously decorated. We chose to have our ceremony at the garden site and our reception in the ballroom. Our guests loved the venue and kept raving about the food. We had a very specific music-themed wedding, where we wanted to incorporate little touches of our story, and the venue and team were able to help us execute our vision seamlessly! They were very accommodating when we wanted to enter the venue early for hair and makeup and helped us with our timeline, which made everything on the day-of go smoothly. If we had to do our big day again, we would 100% choose the Vineyards every time! Thank you to the entire team, we are eternally grateful for your support.
