OVY Camp and Event Center is a 501c3 non-profit. Each year, we open most weekends between January-May & August-December for events like weddings. The Clubhouse is ideal for gatherings of up to 100 people. The building, designed by Charles E. Hodges was constructed in 1916. The Clubhouse is a lovely venue for private parties, weddings, recitals and off-site meetings. Guests enter through a charming portico on Homer Avenue into a spacious foyer. The main room is a simply designed space with grand proportions. On two sides, tall windows flood the room with light, which reflects off polished maple floors. Eight brass-and-glass fixtures are suspended from the high ceiling, and dark wood wainscoting and trim throughout add period character. This room includes a stage, framed by a red velvet curtain and illuminated by footlights. There is a grand piano available for musical accompaniment. Buffets are usually set up in the adjacent Fireside Room which is joined to the main room by folding French doors.
