“Hired Joel for our wedding, and out of the 6 weddings we've been to in the past several years (including our own) he was hands down the best DJ/MC. Very happy with our decision to go with him. Joel worked with us to ensure timelines were correct, asked us questions we hadn't thought of yet, and helped curate and go through our personal playlists to get the best playlist we could. At one point in the night he got out on the dancefloor with us with the mic, going around letting us all sing parts of "Don't Stop Believin'" together and we had an absolute blast. If you listened closely he was even singing along to other songs at points in the night. You could tell he was having a good time too. We had several people ask who our DJ was so they could consider booking him too. Worth noting that he can only help you achieve your dream reception if you do your part by filling out your forms thoroughly/properly which he sent reminders to help us do, and enjoying your time at the party. He has a lot of recommendations and helpful advice. Great MC, DJ, and a super cool guy. Amazing vibe and would highly recommend you check him out for your events and wedding!”

He played the music that we wanted and expanded upon our suggestions to play music that we both liked and kept the party going. Even the staff at our venue (which has 3 weddings a weekend) commented that it was the best wedding music they ever heard. Also, the uplighting was great, the saxophone added such a fun live element to the reception, and the photobooth was a hit (the props were super funny). A DJ can make or break how fun a wedding is, and we were so lucky to have Ansar.”

“It was so easy to work with Exemplar Sound and we enjoyed having Christian as our DJ! We had an older crowd but me and my younger friends were on the dance floor all night and he made sure to keep the party going- even coming out on the floor to dance with us! The only suggestion I heard from my friends was there could have been a better job of reading the room- not many slower songs were played while the older couples were still there and I’m sure that would have gotten them on the floor.
