Charmaine was AMAZING for my wedding. She has such an eye for design and i don’t so I just gave her some ideas and she took them and ran with it. The flowers looked so beautiful and everyone commented on them. I loved them so much I got coasters made from them so they could live on forever. She was so organized and thoughtful and I could not have done it all without her

Wilder Gardens and Flowers
Rating: 5.0 (5 reviews)
  • Starts at $5,000
  • Serves Romulus, NY

Hi! I'm Alex, owner and lead designer of Wilder, a wedding florist and floral design studio serving NYC, Syracuse, Rochester, The Finger Lakes, and beyond! Wilder has created florals for galas, fashion shows, and weddings at some of the best NYC venues for over a decade, and more recently, at boutique venues in Central New York. We approach our beautifully wild wedding flowers with passion, cohesiveness, and an environmental ethic, taking inspiration from the landscape around us. Most of my design blends more obvious blooms with forage from my land upstate, so that your wedding feels seasonal, natural, original and (elegantly ) wild.

My husband and I were looking for an understated yet intimate and personal feel for our NYC wedding. We did not want anything that looked over the top, but we did want our flowers to be beautiful and to feel like us. Alex understood exactly what we wanted in seconds, and even found ways to reference some of the traveling we had done together, giving our wedding an added personal touch. We also had fun collaborating with her on palette and all aspects of decor. I would definitely recommend her to anyone!

Something Borrowed Blooms was a fantastic choice for our wedding flowers. Their communication was clear and straightforward from the initial online order through the fast delivery. The florals they provided were fresh, beautifully scented, and looked absolutely gorgeous. We were thrilled with the value, as the flowers were very affordable yet still high-quality. We paid under 4,000 for our florals which included a variety of sizes, bud vases and large center piece vases. They even shipped the flowers directly to us and included return labels, making the process seamless. The flowers were well-organized and easy for us to arrange ourselves. We couldn't have been happier with Something Borrowed Blooms and highly recommend them to any couple planning their wedding.

Flower Moxie – Do-It-Yourself Wedding Flowers
Rating: 4.9 (101 reviews)
  • Starts at $350
  • Serves Romulus, NY

In 2013, 8-year wedding veteran Amy McCord Jones realizes she wouldn't be able to afford to hire her own floral services if she was a bride. Then, Amy discovers that there is basically zero help available for DIY brides. No flower recipes. No instructions. No access to florist-grade blooms. Rude. So she launches Flower Moxie! Flower Moxie remains a humble, tucked-away small business out of Oklahoma City. We don’t zoom around on scooters in some fancy high-rise. We stock an average kitchen with canned wine and Aldi chips and listen to true crime podcasts while photographing curvy ranunculus. Join us. There’s cake, hugs, and acceptance here.

Awarded Best of Zola
We were on a strict budget for our wedding. I knew that florals would be the best way to save on some of the huge wedding costs. I found out about Flower Moxie from googling where I would get wholesale flowers. I was immediately hooked once I saw the flower options, tutorials, and worksheets to help plan out my special day. I am very big on organization, and this website had resources for every step of the way. I found the perfect combination of flowers for my boho wedding. I ordered the flowers about 2 months before our big day. It was a destination wedding, so I was checking into our airbnb on the day the flowers were arriving. I had them scheduled to be delivered at the Fedex holding center near by. I thought the company only used Fedex shipping based on my research. I went into full panic mode when I saw the flowers had been shipped by UPS. I immediately called UPS and Fedex, and to be honest I was stunned at the behavior on the other side of the phone. The flowers were still in transit, and no one would help me with rerouting. I called Flower Moxie to see if they could change things on their side as they were the sender. Luis answered the phone and it felt like I finally had someone looking out for me. I had already spent 4 hours on the phone with the shipping companies and gotten nowhere. Luis said he was on it and not to worry. I ordered enough flowers for 18 centerpieces, 70 bud vases, 8 bouquets, and 1 flower arch. Needless to say, it was quite the ordeal to reroute everything. Over the next 48 hours, Luis kept in constant contact with me about the progress of the shipment. I know I was on the phone for at least 6 hours with this ordeal, and I wouldn't be surprised if he had spent about 15 hours talking to UPS, Fedex, florists, and customs to get me my flowers. He made me feel calm and taken care of. Everyone was coming to me with questions and concerns the entire wedding week, and I can't express how it felt to have someone have my back, and take an extremely big tasks off my plate. I would absolutely recommend this company for DIY brides. And I hope this review is seen by Flower Moxie to highlight an outstanding employee with excellent customer service. In an age when it takes time and multiple attempts in order to talk to a person on the phone, I am so appreciative of the effort that was given by Luis for my wedding day. He made me feel like it was an important event for him too. Thank you Luis for making my wedding dreams come true! My sister also mentioned you in her MOH wedding speech. We were all impressed :)

The Floral Eden
Rating: 4.9 (62 reviews)
·Ratings include Zola and Google reviews
  • Starts at $1,500
  • Serves Romulus, NY
  • Offer

Floral Eden is an East Coast floral décor and production company creating weddings and events that feel beautiful, intentional, and completely personal. We handle everything from personal flowers and centerpieces to ceremony installations, reception décor, styling, setup, repurposing, and breakdown. Our goal is to make the whole space feel connected, not like a bunch of separate floral pieces. We love taking a couple’s ideas, Pinterest boards, random screenshots, and “I don’t really know how to explain it” moments and turning them into something that actually feels like them.

The Floral Eden brought our wedding vision to life in ways we didn't even expect. From our first conversation, the team responded to every question and concern right away, and they truly understood what we wanted for our big day. They created the most stunning centerpieces that sat on each table, and candles were placed throughout the venue to set the perfect mood. When we walked into our reception, the combination of florals and candlelight made everything feel absolutely magical and romantic. The quality of their work was exceptional, and we felt like we got incredible value for what they delivered. We can't recommend The Floral Eden highly enough to any couple planning their wedding.

The Faux Bouquets
Rating: 5.0 (43 reviews)
  • Serves Romulus, NY

Believe it or not, we often have people ask if our pictures throughout our website are showing a mix of fresh and faux and…no they aren’t! Although fresh florals are pretty, we are totally in love with poser-blooms all the way here and that’s what we design 100% of our orders with.

Awarded Best of Zola
The Faux Bouquets was a fantastic florist to work with for our wedding. They had a straightforward, welcoming, and responsive communication style that made the entire process easy and stress-free. Their floral designs were elegant, affordable, and fully customizable to our preferences. They created a beautiful customized bouquet for my wife's bridal flowers and an elegant arch for our wedding ceremony. They even made last-minute adjustments to ensure we had the best possible designs. All of this was provided at an amazing price, and they even gave us a discount for being a local wedding. We highly recommend The Faux Bouquets to any couple planning their big day.

The flowers (on our order) came in large boxes, but they were not labeled, so it took a minute to get the flowers both identified and properly set up. To be fair we were warned about the process, but not about the length of time due to our inexperience. As a note, it took my fiancé 5 hours to process the flowers when first receiving them. I also did not have any updates from them from the time I ordered till they were being shipped. They were beyond more affordable compared to other florists, and the flowers arrived alive and in good spirits. We were able to keep the flowers alive for over four days!! Many of the flowers that we chose did not have specific instructions, so we had to follow the general reference for the flowers and hope for the best. Additionally, some of the flowers that we wanted were not in stock, and they were replaced for us with substitutes but were not notified until we had all of the flowers already delivered to us. Also, as a note, bloom culture uses third party sellers for their flowers, so the quality may vary depending on location. Our flowers were in good condition, and the company we had clearly took good care of the flowers prior to delivering them to us. Would we do it again? Probably not, but it made for good laughs and bonding time and we have stories to tell from it!

Rune & Rose Floral Designs is a sustainability focused design team with a unique and elevated style inspired by our connection to others, movement and nature. She followed our lead for more simple bud vase florals and designed greenery to sit at the bases of our chuppah that was stunning. Emily’s approach is relaxed, professional, and warm. She clearly is mindful of queer couples especially! When we needed extra hands, Emily made sure to tap in a team member and they delivered beautifully day of, without even a hiccup, despite not having been a part of any initial planning. This is a testament to Emily’s care and communication! Additionally, Emily’s prices felt very accessible and intentional. We appreciated this!

I've made it my mission to hunt these jokers down, wrangle them together, and to serve to you dead off the proverbial platter. In these post-apocalyptic times, the zombie flowers make for excellent mantle trophies, but some have said they make awesome wedding bouquets. Awarded Best of Zola
My husband and I decided to have an intimate micro-wedding with 12 other people in June of 2024, and organized just about everything ourselves, including the flowers. As part of the planning process, we sought out a preservation artist who could freeze this element of our wedding forever in time. I found Jackie of Evergreen Botanical Studio and her 3-D preservation style matched exactly what I was looking for, so we booked our date with her as soon as we could. She was the PERFECT choice. She took my crazy wild bouquet, my grandmother’s handkerchiefs that wrapped the stems, all the extra flowers from the arrangements, and even some delphinium from her own garden (because she's such an angel and took pity on me that mine didn’t quite survive), and created a work of art that takes me directly back to my wedding day and reminds me of all the amazingness that unfolded. AND she crafted the most wonderful little memento for my Mom, that was completed in time to gift for her 50th wedding anniversary, just months after our event. Jackie was so easy to work with, providing detailed instructions for packaging and shipping the flowers from the Midwest, eased my worry by confirming as soon as she received them, and gave a timeline and explanation of how the whole preservation process works. It seems like magic that the flowers in the finished product look just as they did on the day of our wedding. There is something extra special about the care and artistry that she applies to each and every project she works on. You can feel the passion for her craft shining through, from the vibrant colors and clever composition to the expertly homemade frames. This was an important part of our wedding budget, and we are so glad we made the investment, not only as an extra special keepsake but also to support a fellow artist and small business owner. You won’t be disappointed making the same choice!

Highland Springs Floral
Rating: 5.0 (2 reviews)
  • Starts at $4,500
  • Serves Romulus, NY

In May of 2015, when I got married, we only had a week long engagement, so we collected bridal veil and lily of the valley from our gardens, and my mother cut lilacs from my grandmother's shrub. Every year, on our anniversary, our table is graced with the same flowers that I carried on my wedding day, and I have been enamored with the local flower movement ever since. We grow our flowers in harmony with nature. Our gardens are biodiverse, regenerative and naturally maintained. We design each arrangement in the spirit of mother nature; honored, collected and arranged by an artists' hand. We use sustainable techniques and no foam.

From our first conversation, Highland Springs Floral understood exactly what we wanted for our wedding day. Sarah and her team were thorough in every detail, asking questions that helped us think through our vision in ways we hadn't considered before. They created stunning bouquets with seasonal flowers that felt fresh and alive, and then went beyond what we expected by weaving in books and other decor that tied everything back to our theme. The florals weren't just beautiful, they were thoughtful and artistic, turning our ideas into something we didn't even know we wanted. We loved working with them because they were as excited for our wedding as we were. We can't recommend Highland Springs Floral enough to couples looking for florists who truly care about making your day special.

I have always had a deep-rooted love for all things Mother Nature. My childhood passion led me to a MS in Conservation Biology, focusing on endangered species and ultimately sustainable agriculture. During that time, I fell in love with floral design. I truly enjoy working with my hands and being creative. I love combining the elements of Mother Nature in an enchanting and elegant way that creates a greater appreciation for our magnificent natural world. Combining my educational background with floral design, I strive to source as much locally grown and in-season products as possible, ultimately promoting a more sustainable floral industry!

Tanya was great!! We first learned about her from a party our wedding planner threw and I knew right after that, Tanya would be the perfect person to help bring some color and pop into our wedding. The initial call with Tanya was educational. She is so knowledgeable about the flowers she works with and allowed me to look up the florals she was talking about to see if it would be something I would like. At the end of the call, she let me know that she would put a vision board together to send over for me. She let me know that might take a couple of days; it didn't. Within 24 hours she had it to me to review. That type of customer service is hard to find, but it is so appreciated! Throughout the planning process, Tanya kept in contact to see if I wanted to stick with the original plan, or change certain elements. There were times I had questions and Tanya answered them with lightening speed. As always, she was professional, knowledgeable, and educational. For our wedding, we went with bouquets, boutonnieres, corsages, wine barrel arraignments, and flowers for bud vases. Tanya was not able to make it to our event, but she had her mother take her place and communicated this with us and also our wedding planner so we knew exactly what would be happening. Every arraignment was stunning and our flowers stayed alive for a week after our event so that we could continue to enjoy them. Overall, Tanya is fantastic and the florals she using are stunning. We are so happy we decided to go with her for our big day!
