“We are so glad we used Second Song for our wedding! The whole process was super easy and whenever we had a question or wanted to update something (like add more uplights, which was a great addition btw) we always got a prompt and helpful reply. And our DJ Rob Goodmonson! We cannot thank him enough for the amazing work he did at our wedding! We loved his energy and all of his questions that he had for us during our phone call consultation. I in particular am very grateful that he was so willing to help me with a special song request which required mixing bits from two songs together for my Father-Daughter dance. He was more than up for the challenge and was so helpful with it! When it came to the actual wedding, he was so kind when introducing himself on our wedding day and did a beautiful job MCing. We wanted more minimal MC work and he nailed it perfectly! He was also super flexible with last minute announcement requests that we had. For example, we realized no one was noticing the anniversary cards we put out for signing at the dinner tables, so we asked him to make a little announcement about it and he did great doing that on the spot! Finally, the music all night was absolutely fantastic. He really listened to what we wanted and he delivered! The music felt very much like “us” and we had so much fun dancing all night long. “Doug and Andrew made the best team at our wedding! We met Doug at a bridal show a year and a half before our wedding and liked him immediately. He really wants to help you create a wedding that is special and meaningful to you - not a cookie-cutter wedding with package after package he's trying to upsell you on. We were delighted when Doug told us that his partner, Andrew, was moving back to the area and would be working with him at our wedding. Doug talked with us several times throughout our planning process to help us think through the reception - specifically the flow and the feeling of each moment. At our final detail meeting, Doug and Andrew helped us finalize and ramp up some ideas we had been working on (rating speeches using giant numbers that the bridal party held up, us-themed bar trivia during dinner, kiss cam instead of traditional glass-clinking kisses) and also gave us options to add on his Freedom Sticks (party lighting to help make the room/dance floor fun) and several Polaroid cameras and a book to store the pictures in.
