I'm amazed by how good the lighting was in most of the photos, even in some rooms at the church that weren't as well lit. There are a few photos I wish had been full body rather than cut off at the ankles, oh well. At the end of the night when our coverage had ended before the wedding did, they waited till the end of a song before saying goodbye instead of interrupting, which we greatly appreciated.”

Photography has always been a lifelong passion of mine, I picked up my first camera as a gift from my dad when I was 14 years old. Never in a million years would I have thought that my lifelong hobby could eventually become my career. I focused on my future, working my way through college and grad school to achieve my license to practice, but a part of me realized that I wanted to pursue a career that allowed me to go on adventures and meet a lot of new people. “It was a true pleasure to have Randall and his staff a part of our wedding vendor team. He is a true professional and master at his craft. My wife and I were very particular in choosing our wedding photographer. We knew that our wedding photos were going to last forever and wanted to be sure that the photographer we choose was going to capture all of the essential moments. Every photographer has their own style when it comes to editing the photos and Randall’s was exactly what we were looking for. After we wrapped up our initial consultation call, my wife and I knew that he was the photographer we wanted. “Aladdin films will make a lasting impression on you. They were referred to me by my mother's friend, and the way she described their approach to the shooting and customer service was just wow. My experience was no different, even better I would say. The first thing we noticed was that both photographer and videographer arrived earlier, so they would get enough footage for getting ready photos. The photographer was very professional, he would always point out if we posed in the wrong way, and there was no awkwardness when he took pictures of us. He would always lead us to where the best location to shoot, and which pose is the best. If I had ideas for a picture I would like to have, he would understand me and take the exact picture I wanted! The Videographer was very creative, he used wireless microphones to capture our voices when we were reading our letters to each other prior to the ceremony, and our wows during the ceremony. In the final video, we could hear our voices so clearly, as if we were recorded in a studio. Both of them decided to capture our wedding day as it was, we weren't bothered with extra posing that we did not need, and everything went flawlessly. And the end result was … I can’t express it other than IDEAL. We watched the video with our best man and maid of honor, we were all speechless! Aladdin Films filmed and edited our video in a way that I felt the whole spectrum of emotions that I felt that day. It’s unbelievable. The only advice I want to give to couples that are thinking of ordering their service is to reach out to them ASAP since your date may not be available anymore. We recommended them to my sister and 4 other friends and siblings that will marry this year and the next year. We’re looking forward to meeting you at my sister’s wedding!”

“We found Lulan Studios about nine months before our wedding day. We were immediately drawn in by their professionalism and their reputation. Lulan is an inclusive photographer who was very receptive to our wedding vision. He and his team were incredibly kind, supportive, and helpful all throughout the process. We elected to go with Lulan Wang himself for our photographer who worked with an associate. After our initial consultation we were turned over to Shannon who was our go to contact for day to day clarifications and vendor contact until Lulan took over just before the wedding. Shannon was immensely resourceful and responsive. She communicated with our coordinator very efficiently and was always on top of our booking. We are very grateful to her as well for making the process so easy and for continuing that communication after the fact. On the day, Lulan and his associate were spectacular. It was clear his associate had more than enough talent for the job just like Lulan, but they divided and concurred by using two different types of cameras for different types of shots. We regret not doing an engagement session with them, but we will likely return for an Anniversary session in the future. We didn’t even need one though, because he is skilled enough that he understood us as a couple immediately. They made us feel comfortable and confident. They hyped us up and moved through the shot list masterfully. Nothing was missed and we captured far more than we expected. Please look through our attached photos as they speak for themselves. One of the most exciting moments was when Lulan handed us a little blue book filled with about fifteen physically printed preview photos DURING THE RECEPTION. A lovely surprise that absolutely shocked me. Turnover was 4-6 weeks and we got ours just before the six week mark right on schedule. We were floored. They are jaw-dropping. We ultimately got 950 photos permanently digitally available for high resolution download and access to a shop with impressive options for prints and albums of a wide array of types and sizes. I’m thrilled to show them to you here and implore you to consider booking Lulan Studios. We trusted in their ability from the beginning and we were not disappointed. They are among if not the absolute best in the business.”

“We were nervous when it came to hiring a photographer, because after the whirlwind of the day, photos are one of the only things you get to keep once the day is over that help you relive the moments. “Stephen's style is making candids look very good. I have an issue where I don't "smeyes" (smile with my eyes) and my smile goes flat very easily. He is easy going and gently guides you in the photos so you don't feel forced or uncomfortable. And really, he is able to seamlessly capture you in the moment. I am happy I will be able to cherish those genuine moments he was able to capture for me and my husband. In addition, the standard posed photos were awesome as well. He was organized and straightforward, which I value in a time sensitive event like a wedding. All-in-all A+ for this guy.”

“We hired Dereck for an after-wedding celebration for our son and daughter-in-law and were very happy with the experience and the results. From start to finish, Dereck was professional, responsive, organized, flexible, and punctual. He scheduled prep meetings with me before the event and came fully prepared with backup cameras and batteries—including for drone footage—which was especially important since the couple arrived a bit later than expected. Everything ran smoothly and without stress. What sets Dereck apart, however, is his storytelling approach. He partners with a talented videographer to produce a beautifully edited five-minute montage that captures the essence of the evening. This isn't a music-only highlight reel—it thoughtfully weaves together background music with dubbed audio: excerpts from speeches, guest messages to the couple, laughter, and candid moments. The result was an emotionally rich snapshot of the night—far more meaningful (and watchable!) than the typical two- to five-hour video many videographers deliver. Dereck handled the golden hour and night-time lighting beautifully. These included candid guest shots, posed and portrait photos, and lovely images of the couple alone. His fees were very reasonable, especially when compared to other “content creators” we considered who offered only iPhone footage and music at a similar price point. Dereck’s work was on an entirely different level. We are absolutely thrilled with the results and wholeheartedly recommend Dereck to anyone looking for a photographer who is not only technically skilled, but also an exceptional visual storyteller.”

When we started looking for a wedding photographer, we knew that we needed to find someone with a great eye for candids, who wouldn't make our pictures feel too staged, who had a fun/funky vibe like us, and who could handle wrangling my extremely large family (full of very opinionated people) for family photos, and Jess handled everything with ease! I feel so lucky that we found Jess, and I cannot recommend her more. Jess made everyone feel comfortable throughout the entire wedding day, and even gave guidance to family members who are normally awkward in photos (e.g. suggesting ways to pose to make them more comfortable). Jess went above and beyond throughout the entire planning process, checking in with us, getting to know us, and even coming to a venue walkthrough so she could get a sense of the space! I am so grateful for all of the work Jess put into our wedding, and the photos turned out better than I could have ever imagined. I rarely even like photos of myself, but I honestly am so in love with the ones that Jess took that I jump on every opportunity to whip out my phone and share them with friends!”
