“We initially went with Sound Originals out of cost consideration and ease of booking because their combined photo/video package seemed so much more cost effective than many of the quotes we were getting from individual photographers and videographers. We assumed therefore that the quality might be a bit diminished by comparison, but were quite pleasantly surprised to discover that this was not the case! We are beyond pleased with the coverage they provided of our wedding and reception, and would certainly recommend Sound Originals to anyone seeking photo/video of their big day. Our team on the day of the wedding were absolute rock stars. Kate, Trung, and Travis all were incredibly friendly and helpful, and went above and beyond in ensuring we had excellent photos and video--both candids and plandids. We're so grateful to each of them for their excellent work! If you're considering booking Sound Originals, there is one practical consideration we might offer, however: Their business model seems streamlined to provide a standardized product and level of quality to many clients at once by contracting with local photographers and videographers--this is great for ensuring that clients know what to expect visually and that the company has backup photographers ready in case any members of the assigned team can't make it, but this also seems to come at the cost of personal touch when communicating with the company and the photo/video team. Our communications with them were always through a portal on their website and often felt rather impersonal. This was a trade off we were perfectly fine with, given the very affordable price we paid for our package and the piece of mind in knowing that even if our lead photographer got sick or something, someone else would be there to fill in. If you, however, require a high level of customization or personal touch and want to cultivate a close relationship with your photographer, then you may want to hire a photographer/team directly.”

“From our initial facetime with Kelsey, to our engagement shoot, to our wedding day, she was an absolute pleasure to work with. I had a phone call with Kelsey 1 week before the wedding just so she could triple check we were all on the same page about wedding day. She created a tailored day of schedule for us which did not feel rushed. We always felt heard by Kelsey about how we envisioned the day. She gave us space but was still able to capture magical moments. She had such a calming presence during what can be a chaotic day and made us feel confident and our best during our portraits. Kelsey's second photographer Elyse who was working with her was also wonderful. She has a romantic, documentary style which appears effortless but still gives instruction on how to pose during portraits. She also got our sneak peaks to us in record time and was able to provide a generous amount of sneak peak photos just 2 days after our wedding. She estimated our full wedding gallery would take 8-10 weeks but we were pleasantly surprised when our wedding gallery arrived within 7 weeks and on my birthday! What a pleasant surprise and the wedding gallery was tailored, comprehensive and not overwhelming to go through. “Booking Keleigh Michelle Photography was one of the best decisions we made for our 4/27/24 wedding. I remember feeling so overwhelmed with all of the options for photographers. I had no idea what our style was, or what we should look for or prioritize in a photographer. After filling out a million inquiries, Keleigh’s responsiveness and thorough replies was what initially made her stand out to me. She asked the right questions and helped me land on a package that made the most sense for our wedding without pressuring me or upselling me on anything. We were also drawn to her gorgeous gallery- her pictures exude beauty, sophistication, and pure emotion. Keleigh’s professionalism and talent are what sold us on booking with her. From booking to wedding day, working with Keleigh felt like working with a friend. I could text/email her with the silliest questions and know that she would respond, give me the info I needed, and hype me up! We had a beautiful engagement session on the beach, where Keleigh drove almost 2 hours to meet us at a location that had significance for us. She helped us feel comfortable in front of a camera, and delivered the most gorgeous engagement gallery. In preparing for our wedding day, Keleigh sent us a lengthy guide that answered common questions and helped us feel prepared for our big day. We had a call to go over logistics for the day, put together a list of people we wanted to have in portraits, and make a timeline for getting ready photos. Even up until the day before the wedding, Keleigh was able to accommodate details shifting without question. She brought Lindsey Morrissey as a second photographer who was also phenomenal. Leticia, Keleigh’s assistant, took some awesome BTS shots that are such a cool touch to have to look back at memories. On our wedding day, Keleigh commanded the room and got all of our portraits of us with wedding party/family done seemingly effortlessly right after our first look. I was anxious about getting all of these photos done and still having time to reset prior to walking down the aisle. Keleigh made the process so efficient that we finished with more than enough time to return to the bridal suite and hang out with our wedding party before lining up for the ceremony. We were able to sneak away for some more portraits after the ceremony, and had no doubt that we’d gotten all of the formal pictures we wanted in a timely manner while still being able to enjoy our day. Not even 24 hours after our wedding, we got over 50 sneak peeks from our gallery. We CANNOT get over how beautiful they are. We’ve had so many friends and family say that they are some of the best wedding photos they’ve ever seen. We are so thrilled to get our full gallery back and hang our photos in our house, build photo albums for family members, and look back fondly on our wedding day for years to come.
