What is there to say! Five stars is simply not enough! Well for starters we just had our wedding at the Terraview on 10.19.24 and it was absolutely INCREDIBLE! There are simply not enough words to describe this venue and this entire atmosphere as well as planning process. Our coordinator was Barbara and she was fantastic. The entire year leading up to our wedding. There was nothing but amazing communication and help at every turn. They make the planning process for your event or wedding so easy and we were so grateful since we honestly had no idea where to begin. Everything was amazing on the day of and was perfect to beginning to end. There is not a thing that we would have changed about our wedding. From the decorations to the florals to the food, there was no detail left out. If you are looking for a truly unique and beautiful wedding or event space, I highly recommend this venue. The details of our day were so intimate and so carefully thought out by the entire team that we had working with us. We worked with the floral department and the bakery and the kitchen to create an amazing day. The transparency is second to none and we are forever grateful. They also have an on-site beauty studio where your hair makeup can get done and they were also fantastic to work with! Gina and her girls are truly talented and made my entire bridal party look stunning. My day of bridal attendant was Belkis and she is absolutely amazing. There was not one thing that we had questions on that she could not handle. She made sure that all the girls were eating. She made sure that I as the bride ate and was hydrated. She made everybody make sure that their dresses were perfect and during the getting ready portion, she was there for us 110% of the time helping with photos. Making sure that every detail on my dress was perfect. There are not enough words for her and I am profoundly grateful. After the ceremony, she insured that we had a drink in our hands and made sure that we were eating during our reception. She made sure that we were eating and brought us water on the dance floor and drinks on the dance floor and was just always at our side ready to help us. She is definitely an asset to this venue in so many ways. It is also close to the Scranton airport if you have guest coming from farther away. They have different venues on site (different sizes and styles) and it’s one event per day at each so you aren’t dealing with other parties. It is absolutely gorgeous. The ceremony sites are outdoors with gorgeous views and the reception rooms are beautiful. It is a family business and you do truly feel like family while working with them. I cannot say enough great things! It’s close to many hotels so getting blocks wasn’t an issue. You also get some rooms on site. You also get a wedding coordinator and a day or person who is well aware of you needs and wants! Our day was absolutely perfect beginning to end! They make it so easy to plan and stress free! Food was absolutely amazing and my guests have been raving since! I had a cocktail reception which I highly recommend exploring! They have their own full bakery so all desserts were also made by them! We are truly grateful for the entire team at the Stroudsmoor, who made our wedding day unforgettable and a day that our guests will talk about forever. This place is truly a hidden gem in the Poconos! Thank you so much everyone!

My husband and I were thrilled with Wind In The Willows as our wedding venue. Their communication was consistently speedy, nice, and understanding throughout the planning process, which we really appreciated during this hectic time. The venue itself was beautiful, fun, affordable, and spacious - we were able to decorate the indoor and outdoor spaces with our own touches thanks to their generosity in letting us use their shed for decor storage. Our guests raved about the beautiful scenery and many photo ops around the property. We also appreciated the value, as they worked with our budget to create a magical day we'll never forget. When we first visited Elizabeth Furnace, it was rainy, foggy day in March, but we immediately saw the beauty. How well maintain the grounds were and how perfect our wedding could be. Fast forward a year and half to December 2025 we couldn't have been happier with our decision to get married at Elizabeth Furnace. This venue was everything we hoped for and more—warm, romantic, and incredibly cozy. It was the perfect setting for a winter wedding, with an inviting atmosphere that made our day feel intimate and magical. The food from JDK was absolutely to die for and is still something our guests are raving about. The staff was truly top notch—attentive, professional, and genuinely invested in making sure every detail was perfect. From start to finish, the experience was seamless, and we received countless compliments on both the venue and the overall experience. The Manor at Mountain View

4.9

Harrisburg, PA
  • Up to 325 guests
  • Select services
  • Indoor & outdoor
  • Starts at $3,400

The Manor at Mountain View was the perfect find for the owners. The rustic feel with modern-day conveniences was a must. But, what was also a must was to have a venue that the word beautiful could not even describe it but, yet to keep it affordable so that so many people could come and enjoy this spectacular piece of property. The Tavern (Groom's Tavern) has its original barn beams as this was at one time a bank barn. The rustic charm matches the rod iron chandeliers in the room leading to the tavern. In 2007 the former owners built an addition to the facility that speaks volumes, equipped with windows throughout to show off the amazing view... It really is breathtaking. Today the owners have renovated all the rooms in the building but, kept the rustic charm. It brings the family great joy to see so many people happy when they visit the property and to be able to share so many events with the individuals that rent the property is a joy that is indescribable.

Why you'll love this venue

  • Dressing room available
  • Provides event staff
  • Accommodates more than 200 guests

Venue considerations

  • Large venue, not ideal for small guest lists
  • No free parking
  • Not for you if you prefer a more modern aesthetic
Awarded Best of Zola
The Manor at Mountain View was the best decision we could have made for our wedding day. Angelique is an incredible coordinator and helped us the entire process, and day-of? She was amazing. Nothing slipped past her. The venue itself is beautiful and clean and has indoor and outdoor ceremony spots, a bridal and groom suite, and so much more. They are top of the line. The photos were from our first tour, not our wedding to be specific.

Venue considerations

  • Not for you if you don't want a rustic vibe
  • Not for you if you are looking for something nontraditional

Everything about our wedding at the Pump House was absolutely perfect. We found the Pump House after our original venue was affected by the the hurricane in Asheville, NC. We were rushing to find something that was available on our date, and hit on our non-negotiables: we wanted something where we could spend the day out in nature, have friends and family stay on the property with us, and have a relaxing day all in one location, with a beautiful ceremony site and reception room. As soon as we toured the venue, we knew we didn’t have to look anywhere else. One of the biggest things that sold us on the Pump House was how much the owners, Doug and Lisa, care about their land, the venue, and the weddings that were hosted there. Every space is decorated with Doug’s artwork, from paintings to the tiles in all the bathrooms, which is such a charming touch. They can tell you all about the history of the property and the different types of trees you’ll see as you explore the hiking trails. They’ll even tell you stories of past weddings and couples who have been through their doors as well. Throughout our tour and the whole planning process, we never felt like we were just another wedding or that they were just checking the boxes. On our wedding day, we woke up in our gorgeous accommodations to the relaxing sounds of birds and the river. We got to sit and have an incredible breakfast with our friends and family before getting ready (the breakfast. Omg. I’d book this venue for the breakfast itself). A group went for a hike and a dip in the river that morning too. I felt like we were surrounded by the most positive, magical energy all day as we took our photos in the forrest. We ended up moving our ceremony into the Brick Barn due to rain (fortunately that’s the only time throughout the day it rained, so our guests got to hang outside during the reception), but we ended up having the most intimate, beautiful ceremony in there, that we couldn’t even imagine doing differently now. Plus, the cats and chickens on the property were a big hit with us and the guests :) We’ve had so many people rave to us about how unique and beautiful the venue was. I’m so glad that we found the Pump House, and I’m sure we’ll be planning trips back in the future for anniversaries.

Stokesay Castle is truly a dream venue, not just because of its breathtaking scenery, but because of its incredible staff. When we first toured the venue the manager, Luis, welcomed us like family. He took the time to explain all the packages available and even adjusted his recommendations to match our guest count, and never pushed us toward anything we didn’t need. He also shared helpful budget-friendly tips to make our day even more special and affordable. When we returned a second time for a renovation event, Luis remembered us instantly, greeting us with a big hug and even gave a personal tour, which expressed how much the staff genuinely care about their guests. Later, we had the pleasure of working with the new director, Dara, who went above and beyond to guide us through every step of the wedding-planning process. Whether it was through phone calls, emails, or in-person meetings, she made sure we had everything we needed. She was very polite and informative and always had a smile on her face. On our wedding day, she checked in with us multiple times throughout the day to ensure every detail went smooth and perfect. When talking about the food, all I have to say is it was absolutely phenomenal. Stokesay Castle’s menu offered a variety of delicious options, and while we had to narrow down our wedding-day menu, we also got to sample the rest at our rehearsal dinner the night before. Everything we tried was outstanding. The castle building itself is the perfect blend of modern elegance as well as old-time medieval appeal. It has stunning scenery, a beautiful outdoor ceremony area, snd spacious getting-ready rooms for both bride and groom. The gorgeous grand ballroom comfortably accommodated our 112 guests with room to spare, and it was everything we envisioned. Each time I visited Stokesay Castle I fell in love with it all over again, and that’s when I knew it was the place for us.

From our tour to our big day, HA was different. We knew that the moment we arrived for our tour. I remember looking at my fiancé and beaming during our tour because, without even speaking, we both knew this was it—this was where we’d say “I Do.” The day couldn’t have been more magical. There’s so much stress in the planning process and the day of was the easiest part. My fiancés jacket ripped 20 minutes before the ceremony and one of my bridesmaids lost her bouquet. A sewing kit saved the day and the jacket was quickly fixed, and cocktail hour arrangement was repurposed into a bridesmaid bouquet 10 minutes before the ceremony. Zip tied and ribboned (which was identical to the others). I didn’t even have time to panic before a solution came along. Our Day of Coordinator, Kirsten was always calm, cool, and collected. I never once panicked. Never broke a sweat. Leah, the venue owner, was also there on our big day. Between the two of them, there was zero chance of the day being anything less than amazing. My wife always wanted a wedding, I always wanted to elope. I couldn’t be happier that I let her win that battle. Booking HA was the best decision we made throughout the process. I would do it a million times over. You will never regret booking at HA.

We had our wedding here and I’m not sure if I can put into words how beautiful this venue is! I fell in love with pictures before even seeing it. The ceremony garden is very unique and the cocktail hour space by the pool is absolutely stunning. Everything about this place, including the reception tent and its artificial turf, is perfect. There was plenty of space in the house for the bridal party to get their hair and makeup done and I liked that the guys had a separate building so they didn’t see us getting ready. Our coordinator, Caitlyn, was great to work with and was a tremendous help, especially on the wedding day. She did almost everything so we could enjoy the day! Our wedding day was absolutely perfect and I can’t imagine getting married anywhere else! We worked with Cypress Floral for our flowers. I don’t know a lot about flowers and color choices so I was appreciative of her help and recommendations. She gave several options to choose from and made adjustments multiple times to make sure everything was perfect. When I walked into the reception tent it brought me to tears seeing how beautiful everything was! Our bouquets, the hanging greenery, and floral arrangements for all the tables were stunning! I wish I could have taken every single arrangement home and I will never be able to thank Chelsea enough for how beautiful and perfect everything turned out! We also worked with Cypress Design to create most of our wedding signs and couldn’t be happier with how it all turned out! Alexa gave recommendations on colors and designs, which was really helpful, and all of our signs and décor were high quality and far exceeded our expectations! Not having to create my own signs and using her rentals took a lot of work and stress off of me during the planning process. I cannot thank the Cypress team enough for how perfect our wedding day was!!

Our wedding here was just perfect. Dawn had perfect clear communication with us throughout the entire planning process and just was such an amazing help to me. When we started looking for a venue we weren’t sure what our vision was, and we stumbled upon The View from a recommendation from a friend to look at Stoltzfus Homestead & Gardens - so thankful we found this place! When we first reached out Dawn and Brian told us all of their plans for remodeling and creating a bridal suite etc and we trusted the process and saw their vision - which all came together beautifully. We comfortably had 165 guests, were able to have our ceremony outside :) and had so much fun. Dawn was also our day of coordinator - she really can do anything. Everything went incredibly smooth, and she was the biggest help. This woman is just so sweet and genuinely cares about her couples - which is evident through every aspect of the planning process and how she executed the wedding day as well. The required vendors were amazing to work with and fairly priced. We were able to rent items from the design shop to really add to our day. Could not recommend more highly! We just had the most perfect day.

We could not have asked for a better wedding venue. Everything about it was perfect…the food, the view, the atmosphere, and THE STAFF!!! Kevin was with us every step of the way from the initial walk-through to food tastings to rehearsal all the way through to the wedding. His event day staff was incredible at coordination and communicating which definitely played a part in our perfect day. I realized I forgot my bouquet right before I was about to walk down the aisle and in less than a minute one of the staff members brought it down to me, avoiding any timing hiccups. Historic Shady Lane provided excellent communication throughout our wedding planning process. Their coordinator Caitlyn was very good about keeping us informed and addressing any of our questions or concerns. The venue itself was beautifully stunning, with a gorgeous greenhouse and very spacious reception tent. When it rained on our wedding day, they were quick to accommodate and rearrange the setup so our guests could stay nice and dry inside the greenhouse. They also offered golf cart transportation, which our guests really appreciated. While their preferred vendor list had some great options, we ended up finding an amazing makeup artist that wasn't on their list. Overall, we had a great experience with Evergreene Venue. At first we were a bit skeptical because communication was slow and inconsistent, but as the wedding day got closer, they really stepped up. Nina, the venue coordinator, was absolutely fabulous - she made sure everyone was where they needed to be before, during, and after the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. She also made sure my husband and I got a bite to eat between ceremony and reception, and was even kind enough to help bustle my dress before our reception entrance. Nina truly made our wedding the success that it was. The venue itself was bright, beautiful, and had great views. The service from the venue employees was also wonderful. There were a few small things here and there that could have been better (some of the cocktail food items and reception dinner were a bit cold, and one of the dessert options changed day-of without our knowledge), but other than that, my husband and I couldn't be happier with our experience at Evergreene Venue. Our guests couldn't stop complimenting us on how wonderful it was. Definitely recommend for your big day!
