Johnny and Allegre were a dream team! As a former wedding photographer myself, when it came time to find a photographer for my own wedding, my anxiety was high! I knew I wanted a professional that didn’t just capture the run-of-the-mill kinda stuff, I wanted a person passionate about the craft who would make art out of my wedding. So Behold This delivered just that, and more! I swear I have looked at these photos a thousand times since we received them, they captured our day with such an incredible artistry, they were moody and sexy and JUST what I wanted from our Valentine’s Day love-fest. Yes, I also got the run-of-the-mill stuff as well, they do that skillfully, for sure. The bonus??? They both are SO MUCH FUN to work with, providing humor and great vibes to a stressful day. A THE BEST!!

When I first started wedding photography, I made a goal of being more than just the photographer on your big day. I made it my goal to be your friend, someone you can crack inside jokes with, and someone who isn't afraid to get down + have fun at the reception (while still doing her job). I made it my goal to capture more than just photos, but an experience. Whether it’s high in the mountains, on a beach near the ocean, in a forest meadow - you deserve to get married however you want to & I want to capture it for you.

L & L Photography was the perfect choice for our wedding day. Lexi, one of the photographers, was incredibly effective and charismatic in her communication style, making the experience fun and easy. She was patient in answering all our questions and ensuring every moment was captured beautifully. The quality of their work is truly top tier, and their services are very affordable, making them a tremendous value. Lexi rocked every single moment, seamlessly blending into the celebration and creating absolute magic with her moody, romantic photography style. I've worked with many photographers, and Lexi is now my go-to - I cannot recommend L & L Photography highly enough.

Named one of the 30 rising stars in of wedding photography in the world. My approach is raw, honest, and straightforward, focusing on capturing authentic emotions rather than just beautiful images. I am committed to telling your love story and celebrating the joy of your special day, along with the amazing people in your lives.

“We were looking for a certain type of photographer. Andrew is someone we felt comfortable with and who really understood our approach and the vibe of our wedding. Andrew met with us to understand the plan for our wedding and most importantly to get a sense of us as a couple. He worked nonstop on the day, capturing key moments during the wedding and importantly additional elements that really framed the day. We wanted a little formality but also informal shots that captured people in the moment. That’s what we got, with such a keen eye for detail and topped off with a whole heap of STYLE and COOL !!

Meeting around 10 years ago and instantly becoming best friends, Jason and Nichole have now been married for 5 beautiful years. They share two children and when they aren't creating amazing wedding day memories for their clients they are out exploring. You can find them skiing, hiking, camping, and even traveling the country in their van when time permits!

Nichole and Jason have been nothing but professional throughout our booking process, engagement photos, and wedding weekend. All of the photos we've received so far we have been absolutely blown away with how good they are. They were great communicating to make sure our needs were met. We felt so comfortable with them and see them not only as our wedding photographer and videographer but someone my husband and I could be friends with. They were really great making sure our Indian fusion wedding was beautifully captured. I can't wait to see all of the photos but the sneak peaks were so good. They also asked questions about the ceremonies that we had to ensure they knew how best to document as well as wanting to sincerely learn more about the culture. You will not regret hiring these two. I would hire them both again in a heartbeat! This husband/wife team creates magic!

Hi there! I'm Sue Clark & I am a fine-art wedding & portrait photographer located in central Vermont serving the Rutland & Killington areas. I capture weddings with my photography partner Dan Lovell. We are so fortunate to travel throughout beautiful New England documenting the love stories & celebrations of some amazing couples.

We hired Sue and Dan to capture our wedding day and they were absolutely amazing. Both of them were incredibly nice and gave us a lot of direction which we needed since neither of us are in front of a camera often. They made us feel comfortable and relaxed when taking photos. We provided them with a list of must-have shots but they went above and beyond that list. Even our guests were mentioning to us how much they loved our photographers. We are so excited to get all the photos back and relive our special day! I would highly recommend Sue and Dan!!

Hello there! I'm Andrea, owner of Amative Creative, and every weekend we're so blessed to be able to tell the love stories of so many amazing couples. Like many others in this industry might say, we simply adore weddings. But what makes us a little different is our entire brand is centered around telling love stories specifically curated to reflect your vision and aesthetic. "Amative" means to be prone to love, so as you can see, we want nothing more than to tell your love story! But what makes us truly unique is that we understand every love story looks different. And we personalize every aspect of how we document your wedding day!

We had a great experience with Amative Creative for our wedding! One thing that really made them stand out was that they offer so many different editing styles to choose from, so we were able to pick exactly the look we wanted. They also got our photos back to us super quickly—about a week after the wedding—which was such a nice surprise. The photos turned out beautiful and they captured all the big moments and some great candid shots. I especially love how cool the dance floor shots turned out. We received tons of compliments on the pictures! Highly recommend!

My all-time favorite thing is to sit by the fire with a glass of good cabernet or watch the ocean waves hit the beach. I love to garden and to build things (but I let my husband to finish all my projects LOL). I enjoy good food and will likely refer to a stand up comedy routine at least once in a conversation. I am also a football mom, lacrosse mom and basketball mom. Wife to a very understanding husband and emotional support person for my big puppies.

Savage Wedding Co.

Savage Wedding Co. is for couples who want their wedding to feel like themselves — not a performance, not a production, and not something they have to manage all day. I work with a balance of structure and flexibility: enough direction to keep things moving, and enough space for moments to unfold without forcing them. I don’t chase perfection or try to smooth out every edge. Some moments are quiet. Some are awkward. Some don’t fit neatly into a highlight reel — and that’s usually where the honest stuff lives. I don’t rush past those moments or reshape them to look like something else. I let things be.

If we could give Magnus 1,000 stars, we would! He was an amazing addition to our wedding day as our photographer and DJ! He captured the most special of moments for us to cherish forever, and we’ve received countless compliments on his work and how awesome and personable he was the day of. Magnus had us all tearing up the dance floor with his great DJing. We had a DIY backyard wedding, and he went above and beyond in respectfully suggesting ways to go about certain aspects of our day that made things flow effortlessly. Not only did we love having Magnus there for our big day, but our friends and family did too!

We specialize in Fine Art Photography & Cinematic Story Telling for Western, Indian, South Asian & Fusion Weddings. We are fun, easy going and deeply intentional about the way we work.

Working with Tharun and his entire photography team was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding reception. From the very beginning, they were incredibly professional, creative, and genuinely invested in making every moment unforgettable. They went above and beyond our expectations in every possible way. The quality of the photos and videos was simply phenomenal. Every shot captured the emotions, joy, and beauty of our celebration so perfectly that we get to relive those memories every time we look at them. But what truly blew us away were the edits they were absolutely fire! The cinematic quality, attention to detail, colors, transitions, and storytelling were on another level. The biggest testament to their talent was the response we received online. Every Instagram post created performed incredibly well, with friends, family, and even people we didn’t know commenting on how stunning the content looked. The visuals were so captivating that our posts went viral, and we continue to receive compliments weeks later. Beyond their exceptional talent, Tharun and his team were warm, patient, organized, and an absolute pleasure to work with. They made us feel comfortable in front of the camera and captured natural, candid moments that we’ll treasure for a lifetime. If you’re looking for a photography and videography team that combines creativity, professionalism, and world-class editing, look no further than Tharun and his team. I had the pleasure of working with Cate on one of my recent weddings, and she is a joy to work with! Not only is Cate an incredibly talented photographer, but she also made the entire process of capturing the wedding day memories a breeze. She made my job as a wedding planner much easier by keeping everything on schedule and collaborating closely with the rest of the wedding team. Most importantly, Cate made the couple feel comfortable and at ease, adding humor into the day, allowing them to relax and enjoy the day, while getting incredibly authentic photos. The resulting photos were absolutely stunning and captured the essence of the couple's special day. It is so much fun to work with an artistic photographer, rather than a standard wedding photographer, because they see the day as an art piece, capturing little moments that others would let pass by. I would highly recommend Caterina to anyone in need of a talented and fun wedding photographer!

Hi! I'm Christin, a destination wedding photographer based in Chattanooga, TN. Specializing in timeless and artful imagery, my expertise goes beyond just taking photos; it's about crafting a visual story that reflects the joy, love, and unique spirit of your celebration.

Working with Christin at Christin Sofka Photography was one of the absolute highlights of our wedding journey. From our very first inquiry to the days following our wedding, Christin has been nothing short of phenomenal—responsive, professional, fun, and such a warm presence throughout. We initially found her because of her stunning photography style, but it was her incredible personality that sealed the deal. From our first call, she genuinely wanted to get to know us—our story, our vibe, our vision—and it showed in everything she did. Before we even officially hired her, Christin was helping us find a venue that aligned with our dream, connecting us with other amazing vendors, and offering support in ways far beyond the role of a photographer. She was in it with us every step of the way. I’m usually awkward in front of a camera, but somehow Christin made it feel effortless and fun. She created an environment where we could just be ourselves—and that joy, love, and personality came through in every photo. Our pictures shine with who we are. Every idea we had, she embraced and brought to life in ways that exceeded our expectations. She was just as excited as we were the entire time—and honestly, I can’t imagine our day without her. Christin is not just a photographer—she’s a true artist, a cheerleader, and a calming, creative force you’ll be so lucky to have by your side. If you’re considering hiring her: do it. You’ll be singing her praises too.

A Charleston Wedding Photographer with a fierce love for storytelling, fostering memories and capturing those moments that you will want to treasure forever. I get to tell your story. And, I think that’s pretty cool. I love traveling everywhere and anywhere, talking with my hands, buying plants (and attempting to keep them alive), and spending as much time as I can with my loved ones. I have lived in Boston, Paris, and New York City, and am now lucky enough to call Charleston home, while also still traveling the world for my clients. You can usually find me on my back porch in downtown Charleston, right next to my favorite little park.

tldr: Jessica is amazing and I don’t think you can go wrong with her if this is the style of photos you like I had a lot of difficulty picking a photographer as I’m pretty picky with photos. I knew I wanted something bright and light, with kind of a whimsical or ethereal vibe, but it was really hard finding the style until I came across the “fine art” style. Jessica’s name came up while researching this style and I decided to reach out to her among a few other fine art photographers. I definitely hoped talks would go well with Jessica as the others I contacted ended up either not responding or were wildly out of my budget. Pre-Planning: Jessica was wonderful throughout this process. She promptly responded to my emails and answered questions clearly. I never felt like I was left in the dark for any part of the process. When I sent her the timeline of the ceremony/reception, she quickly came up with a timeline to slot in all the photos to be taken ahead of time at the location (We had access to the venue for a little over an hour prior to the ceremony). She also asked for a list of family photos that we wanted to take. This made it very easy at the wedding as she could call out people’s name to make sure everyone that was supposed to be in the pictures, were in the pictures. Jessica also sent over a list of ideas for detail shots and explained she could do this ahead of time. We didn’t want extra pictures of these and decided against it, however, I still thought it was very thoughtful of her to offer. Wedding Day: I loved her energy at the wedding. She was very calm and felt very competent. She directed my husband and I throughout the pictures, showing us poses etc. During family and wedding party photos, even though we had many bodies to fit in the frame in quite a few pictures, she led us through them with ease and the entire experience was very stress free (or as stress free as can be at a wedding lol). The venue was quite dim at specific locations, but the final results did not reflect that at all. The pictures were bright and did not look like they were taken in the dark at all. (This is a little off topic but I loved the little apron with pockets she wore for her equipment. So cute) I’m not sure when Jessica had the time, but there were pictures around the venue which were so beautiful. I definitely feel like the day was captured through the pictures. Post Wedding: Jessica sent us a sneak peak 2 days after the wedding containing 23 pictures. They turned out great and were beautiful. You can see examples on her website so I won’t elaborate, but they really are that good. The full gallery was sent almost a month after the wedding (minus 2 days) with instructions on purchasing prints or an album attached. The full download contained 650ish files, including the sneak peek pictures. Half of which were black and white, so this matched up pretty perfectly with Jessica’s estimation of the amount of photos when we spoke in the pre-planning stage.

Sally Carpenter Photography
Rating: 5.0 (3 reviews)

  • Serves Randolph Center, VT

I've spent over 25 years behind the camera, telling stories through portrait, wedding, and fine art photography. I’m driven by real emotion—the quiet moments, laughter, and genuine connection that make each story unique. While in London, I earned a distinction from The Royal Photographic Society for my documentary portrait work. I studied at the Brooks Institute of Photography and continued learning through workshops with 2MU, Jerry Ghionis, Parker Pfister, Brook Shaden, Cliff Mautner, and Paulina Duczman. Every shoot is a chance to connect and create something meaningful.

Sally was a delight to work with! We were drawn to her documentary style that captured candid *moments*. Her portfolio showed that she had a solid understanding of composition, texture, and light & shadow. Additionally, it was important to us to have an inclusive photographer who respected all identities and cultures. From the very beginning, Sally was open and communicative, taking the time to understand our wedding day, offering timeline suggestions, answering questions, and getting to know us and our style. We had multiple experiences on our wedding day, including a tea ceremony and lion dance, so there were many moving parts, making for a full day. On the day of our wedding, Sally and her assistant, Gael, were prompt and starting working right way. Sally was geared up with multiple cameras and a harness. She even brought accessories to stage items for detail photos (such a ring holder and ribbon!). Sally was familiar with our venue, Lake Morey Resort, and had a lot of ideas on where to take photos (despite the slightly rainy day!). Additionally, Sally and Gael were extremely patient with our relatives, all of whom acted as paparazzi. We were super impressed with the photos Sally captured, despite our relatives randomly jumping in to grab a photo on their phones! Sally and Gael were everywhere and oftentimes, we didn't even notice they were there to capture certain moments! They were truly professionals who kept up their energy and enthusiasm the entire day, and worked in harmony with our videographer and the venue coordinator. Due to family request, our photos were a blend of candid shots and formal portraits. Sally balanced these perfectly, doing an excellent job with both styles of photography. We were impressed at how quickly we received sneak peeks. Photos from the entire day were delivered via an elegant USB flash drive. Sally exceeded all of our expectations. Her photos captured real, candid moments, beautifully reflecting the joy of the day. We only wish we hired her for the entire weekend!

I learned photography 10+ years ago in the darkroom at my high school. From there, I was hooked. Fast-forward to being fresh out of college, in a new city, and needing new friends. I found an amazing group who also loved photography. We traveled abroad and across the country together, sharing our travel photos all over Instagram (which, had just become all the hype). That was all it took for my first couple to ask me to photograph their wedding. I'm now a full-time hybrid wedding photographer!

The best decision David and I made during our wedding planning was hiring Halie for our wedding photography. She is so amazing at what she does and so organized with it! Which is something we have in common, I am super Type-A so the relationship I built with Halie was top tier and it made the whole planning process/wedding day a breeze. For David and I, our Rhode Island wedding was a destination as we are from Maryland so this made things a bit more complex with scheduling and understanding the area. When planning our engagement shoot, Halie made perfect suggestions for different locations to satisfy the different vibes I wanted in our pictures. During the shoot, she put us at ease and helped pose us in different ways to get the perfect shot. She also captured family photos for my family and I while we were all in Rhode Island for wedding planning activities. This helped us have an even closer bond with Halie and she got to see some of the family dynamics. All of the photos were absolutely beautiful!!! Between our engagement shoot and our wedding, Halie stayed in constant communication with me and gave me so many good tips/suggestions/ideas throughout the process. She made us a custom photo timeline for the whole wedding day. This was so helpful and we used her photo timeline as our baseline when engaging with all of our other vendors to ensure they were all on the same schedule. Halie captured pictures of our rehearsal dinner and intimate private sailboat ride with our inner circle. It was so fun to have her there to capture all of our New England details that we had spent so much time planning. Once again, she nailed it and got so many great pictures of us and our families! If you are considering adding rehearsal coverage, this is your sign to do it!!! Now for the wedding day, she truly outdid herself! She came fully prepared to dive into all of the shots and was reassuring me when I realized we were running slightly behind schedule. She was like my director that day and I had complete trust in her for all of it. She remained calm, poised, professional throughout all of the wedding day chaos. All of our wedding party was so impressed by Halie's well thought out photography. When we received our sneak peeks, we were just in utter shock!! They were stunning and exactly what we were hoping for. Halie’s photography style is the perfect blend of romantic and timeless. David and I are forever grateful for the memories that Halie and her team captured on our wedding day. We truly cannot recommend Halie enough! She is amazing!

Art and storytelling is my passion when it comes to photography, but I'm also all about capturing raw real emotions, candid moments, and photojournalism. Aside from photographing your day, I also help with finding wedding vendors & venues, or location scouting and lodging if you're eloping. I want your wedding/elopement process to be as stress free as possible! Whether it's your wedding day, elopement, or another special occasion, I'll work closely with you to bring your vision to life.

Working with Krystalle was truly a dream for us. Her style is extremely fitting with the mood we wanted for our wedding- dreamy, romantic, moody. She made everything so easy for us and truly made things fun. I am forever thankful for the experience we had and that she was able to shoot our wedding. A thousand times over, I would ask for her to shoot our wedding again! In addition, she did our engagement shoot and was everything we were looking for 3

Kelsie has long been captivated by the quiet magic of photography—the way a single frame can preserve memory, emotion, and legacy. Her earliest work, documenting her uncle’s final birthday, revealed the depth of what an image could hold: joy, grief, love, and connection. Today, she approaches every story with that same reverence, blending artistry and intention to capture fleeting moments that become timeless heirlooms—images that carry meaning long after the day has passed.

Having Kelsie as our photographer was one of the best decisions we made in planning our wedding! Kelsie is fun, thoughtful, organized, flexible, and such a talented photographer. Her previous experience as an event planner shone through as she kept in touch and asked careful questions to get to know us and think through our vision. Covid got in the way of many of our plans and we had to reorganize our whole wedding just days out, but Kelsie’s eye for balancing big moments and small details really captured all the special parts of our day. We couldn’t be more thrilled with how our photos and wedding album turned out!

Artist | Mama | Aspiring Plant Lady | Insatiable Sweet Tooth | Enneagram 9 | Southerner Living in New England Lover of antiques, rustic European style, and fluffy animals. Middle of three sisters. Collector of vintage cameras, milk glass, and music boxes. Hi! I'm Ashley. I'm a fine-art wedding and boudoir photographer, and love what I do because of the places I've been and the people I have met (and photographed) along the way. I work with Old-World Romantics who value heirlooms and elegance to create bespoke wedding albums worth cherishing for generations.

Ashley Helen captures the most elegant images, her creativity is fantastic and we could not be more pleased. In addition to her finding a way to make our day perfect, her follow-up and professionalism was also perfect. The wedding album itself is beyond anything we could have imagined. Her attention to details is evident in the quality of images she was able to produce. Our wedding day was presented with the grace and class we had hoped for, nothing was typical or cheesy, everything aligned with our plans!

I’ve spent years behind the camera, documenting refined weddings and intimate celebrations with a focus on elegance, emotion, and intentional storytelling. I’m drawn to the quiet, in-between moments—the subtle glances, the atmosphere, the effortless beauty that defines a truly exceptional day. Based in Vermont and working with discerning couples, my approach is rooted in capturing not only how your wedding looks, but how it feels. Each celebration is an opportunity to create imagery that is both deeply personal and artistically timeless.

PHOTOGRAPHER IN NEW ENGLAND was the perfect choice for our small, family-only wedding. Their communication was prompt and thorough putting us at ease throughout the planning process. On the day, they were friendly, warm, and made sure to get great shots of not just the two of us, but all of our family members and their own groups. The quality of their work is truly professional, with an incredible attention to detail that shows in the beautiful, natural photos we'll cherish forever. We're so glad we went with PHOTOGRAPHER IN NEW ENGLAND - they helped make our special day even more perfect.
