“Just had my wedding here and what a time we had :D Devin, the owner, was incredibly easy to work with when planning and was very patient in answering my endless questions. Our guests loved the venue, especially the easy access to the patio during the reception, and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. If you want the full effect of the orchards in bloom for your photos, I would wait until later in the season, but we had excellent weather. Great bar selection and everyone got a kick out of the arcade area. 10/10, would recommend!”

“If we could give more than five stars, we absolutely would! Our son and daughter-in-law couldn't have chosen a more perfect venue to begin their lives together. From our very first meeting with Lauren and James to the last dance of the evening, everything was simply perfect. Their attention to detail, kindness, professionalism, and genuine care made the entire day feel effortless. Every member of the staff went above and beyond, allowing our family to relax and truly enjoy every moment. Our guests are still talking about the wedding—especially the food! We've heard countless compliments, including, "That was the best steak I've ever had at a wedding!" The food and service were exceptional. Lauren and James don't just host weddings—they create unforgettable memories. We are so grateful for everything they did to make our family's day so magical. We will treasure those memories forever and wholeheartedly recommend this venue to anyone looking for the perfect place to celebrate.”

“We cannot recommend Black Walnut Farm enough—it was the perfect place for the wedding of our dreams! From the breathtaking forest ceremony site that felt like stepping into a fairytale, to the warm and vibrant barn that created the ideal setting for our reception and dance party, to the sprawling wildflower gardens that surrounded our golden cocktail hour — every part of the venue is magical. The venue owners, Sarah and Jim, were incredible to work with—so flexible and supportive in helping us create a wedding that truly reflected us. They not only encouraged our own ideas but also suggested thoughtful details we wouldn’t have considered on our own, making our day even more special. It felt like a true collaboration and both my wife and I felt understood by them in this partnership. What really stood out is how effortlessly beautiful and well-equipped the venue is. We only added some simple table flowers, and that was it! It’s truly a “ready-to-go” venue that makes wedding planning so much easier while still looking stunning. We’re already looking forward to attending more events at Black Walnut Farm so we can keep the connection to this incredible place. It’s not just a venue—it’s a place that feels alive with love and celebration. If you’re considering it for your wedding, stop searching—you’ve found your perfect spot!”

“We had our wedding at Kindred Creeks at the beginning of May 2022. I have so many great things to say about this place! First off, Jill was extraordinary, caring, attentive and so helpful from start to finish. She was able to work within our budget while keeping our dream wedding a reality. She had rain plans, sunny day plans, plans for more or less people and was thorough throughout. Her father, Gerry, who lives in the farm came out the day before and day of the wedding to make sure we were taken care of and that anything we needed would be done. And the tent staff was kind, courteous and officiant! The grounds itself were gorgeous! We were the first to use the airstream bridal suite which got so many compliments and great photos. They also redid the bridge across the creek for the wedding party to walk over during the ceremony. I fell in love with the green barn and even though it needs to come down soon, they held off construction so we could take pictures in front of it. We got married right where the two creeks meet which was so beautiful. All our guest had nothing be great things to say and we are beyond happy with the experience. If you are thinking of taking a tour of the farm, don’t hesitate! You will fall in love just like we did!”

“Beautiful venue for our wedding day! We had a bit of a bumpy road leading up to it—the original wedding coordinator at Buttermilk left at the start of the year, and there was a long period of silence. Lauren, who started working there mid-way through the year, was an absolute godsend, patiently answering my and my family’s many questions and helping confirm all the details. She and Kelly were on hand throughout my wedding weekend, keeping everything running smoothly and beautifully. The space itself is stunning—all our guests and our photographer kept commenting on how gorgeous it was. The only hiccup was that my parents’ accommodation wasn’t available when they arrived. An alternative was provided, but it was understandably frustrating. Overall, though, the venue and the team made our wedding weekend truly special!”

“Please read—our experience was nothing short of amazing! We got married at Liberty View Farm this past Saturday, and The Wedding Foundry made our day absolutely unforgettable. Billiam and Erica truly have a gift and such a special thing going. Our day ran seamlessly, and we couldn’t have been happier. From a touching ceremony that had our guests in tears, to AMAZING food that people are still talking about (definitely not your typical “wedding food”), to the abundance of gorgeous florals that Ivan brought to life even more beautifully than I dreamed—it was all perfection. Cathy went above and beyond setting up our personal décor exactly how I envisioned and created a tablescape that looked like it came straight out of a fairytale. The planning process was also so smooth—they made it easy to choose menus, drinks, and all the little details, and they were always quick to respond to any questions, which gave us so much peace of mind. We also loved how this is such an “all-inclusive” venue, which relieved so much of the stress of finding vendors. You can tell everyone they use works together all the time, which makes the whole experience seamless. For anything not included, Billiam provided excellent recommendations (music, Airbnbs, hair & makeup), which made everything so easy. Throughout it all, Erica and Billiam were patient, reassuring, and accommodating—even when I asked to change our ceremony spot last minute! They welcomed me back to pick a new space and made me feel completely confident. I was also nervous about florals matching with my bridesmaids’ dresses and family colors, and they kept promising me I would love it. They were right—it was beyond perfect. This is the most unique, special farm and venue I’ve ever seen, and it felt exactly like “us.” The entire team—Erica, Billiam, Ivan, Cathy, and everyone involved—are so talented, kind, and detail-oriented. They truly care about making each wedding magical, and it shows in every moment. We could not have asked for more, and we will forever be grateful for the memories they created for us.”

“This was the first venue we looked at and we knew right away we needed to get married here. Truly one of the most beautiful ceremony locations I have ever seen. The team was amazing! We forgot the plug for our neon sign and they ran to the store to find a plug that worked. It poured 45 minutes before our ceremony, and the staff let us wait, and then dried everything off at the last minute, which gave us a rainbow at our ceremony. They were so flexible in making the timeline work due to our weather delay. The food was amazing, from the cocktail hour stations, to dinner, and the food at the after party. The venue felt so intimate and personal, we could not have picked a better place. 10000000% recommend!”

“We designated Springhill Suites for the wedding block accommodations. The team was exceptionally professional and accommodating. They even provided signage for the events which coordinated with the wedding invitations. We rented the meeting room for the entire weekend and decorated it for both the bride and grooms families to gather. We utilized it to both welcome our guests on Friday and share breakfast and farewells on Sunday. In addition, we closed off half the room for the groomsmen to prepare on Saturday. The after party took place there as well. I feel the staff and accommodations really set the tone for a wonderful weekend of shared experiences for both families.”

New Milford, CT

  • Indoor
  • Starts at $6,000

Constructed soon after the Great Fire of 1902, The United Bank Building was built to house two banks whose previous buildings had been destroyed, New Milford Savings Bank and the New Milford First National Bank. The two banks immediately organized to rebuild, quickly agreeing in principal to build a joint facility on the site of the New England House, a locally well known tavern and inn located at the corner of Bank and Main Street. For most of its life, the building had been used in some form of a bank, but had been largely under-used in recent decades, and had fallen into disrepair. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982 and taken over by Village Green Investments in 2015. After 9 months of renovations, the building became 19Main. Throughout renovations, we strived for modern amenities with historic elegance; three vaults remain from the building’s former bank days.

Why you'll love this venue

  • Dressing room available
  • Raw space for complete customization
  • Classic seating dinner

Venue considerations

  • Dance floor not included
  • Couple must handle cleanup and setup

“When we toured venues we were immediately struck by the uniqueness of this venue, and charmed by the town of New Milford. We were able to get ready, have our ceremony, dinner, and reception all in the same venue which made things incredibly easy for us and our guests. Our guests loved the vaults for pictures, and having access to both the large and small rooms made sure that nothing was ever too cramped. Of course, having AC for a July wedding was also a plus. We took pictures on the town green and at the movie theater marquee, and stayed with our wedding party at the inn in town. And I can only say amazing things about Kylie! Kylie made our dreams come true! She was a dream to work with. She had solutions for questions that we didn't even know we needed to think about, was incredibly easy to work with, and took away all of our stress on the day of. She coordinated with all of our vendors, set up our tables, put up all of our posters and decor, but still let us feel like we were in control. We planned this wedding from across the country, but Kylie made it as smooth as possible!”

Heather and her team were efficient, humorous, in their communication and were incredibly accommodating throughout the our planning process. The space is modern, clean, and well-equipped to host our fundraiser, with was an 185-person trivia event, with comedy hosts on the stage. The versatile layout allowed us to create cozy nooks for food and mingling before the event, and the great lighting and character of the brewery added so much charm. We would come back in a heartbeat to host another party here. The Industril Arts went above and beyond to provide us with ideas to avoid excess rentals and connected us with fantastic vendors for food. “The second I walked into Novellas when we went for a tour I knew that’s where I wanted to get married. The bridal suite was absolutely gorgeous. There was plenty of room to get ready and relax the morning of our wedding. I was able to connect my phone to the sound system so we could listen to music while we got ready. We had access to the bridal suite throughout the wedding which was great. The outside ceremony and cocktail hour space were both so beautiful. The waterfall is the perfect background for taking photos. When I walked into the reception space I completely fell in love. The chandeliers are stunning and the room just feels luxurious. Bryce, the manager, was phenomenal with communication. I received a response back within a day which was great. He was truly so flexible and there wasn’t much of a limit of things we couldn’t do. I wanted to get on top of the bar and pour shots into our guests mouths and I know it sounds like a crazy idea but you only get one wedding. I told Bryce that’s what I wanted to do and he said I could absolutely do that. That was my favorite part of the night! Novellas also offered the outside space to be used for the after party which was great. We ordered pizza from a local pizzeria and had that delivered and we brought coolers of beer and seltzers and hung outside by the fire pit until 2 in the morning. There are also two hotels that are walkable from Novellas because they essentially share a parking lot. That was also one of the reasons I chose Novellas. I didn’t have to worry about our guests not having a ride home or having to find someone to drive them home. Our guests were able to walk right to their hotel room. Courtney is the day of coordinator and she was absolutely phenomenal! She truly went above and beyond for us. She came to check on me the day of the wedding in the bridal suite multiple times. I was so anxious the morning of that I was just walking back and forth in the venue and I kept apologizing to her and she said whatever I needed to do and I wasn’t in the way. She set up everything for us the day of the wedding and it was absolutely gorgeous. I had given her a list of all the decor I had and where I wanted it and she set everything up just how I envisioned it. She was phenomenal the whole day and she kept everything running smoothly. She was on top of everything. We never had to ask for anything. When we thought of something or we needed something we would turn around and it would always be done or she would have what we needed. After our ceremony, Courtney was waiting with a drink in her hands for us and a smile on her face. This was truly the perfect venue for the best day of our lives.”
