We got married in September, which was a busy time, but they were transparent about managing our expectations. We had our cocktail hour in Ava, dinner and dancing in Sophia, and an after-party on the terrace - the space was perfect for our 100 guests. Late night bites of sliders and fries were a huge hit too. When we had to quickly pivot our wedding plans to a smaller venue (4 weeks from our date!), they were our first call. The team at Peasant sprang into action and delivered the wedding we always dreamed of. We had our ceremony in front of the beautiful brick oven. We barely decorated the space because it's already so gorgeous. Our 70 guests sat at long tables for an incredible family style meal. The space quickly transformed into a dance floor, and a friend of ours DJ'd our favorite music. If you're looking for an intimate venue where you can relax and soak up the pure joy of your wedding day, Peasant has the vibes. Our guests still rave about the rigatoni alla vodka, the espresso martinis, and the kindness of the team months later. “Where to even begin! First off, my wife and I had a fairly large wedding for NYC, roughly 200 people, so when we started to look at venues, we were so nervous about what we would find. Rule of Thids was actually the first venue we saw, and we were blown away by the space. If you’re renting out the full venue, you get access to the entire restaurant, plus the event space, as well as the outdoor area. It makes the flow of the wedding so nice, so everyone wasn’t crammed into one space as they were trying to flip it for the ceremony, dinner, and dancing. We were also able to rent out the photo studio attached to the sake shop to get ready in, so we were on-site all day, which was AMAZING. We could easily discuss things with our day-of coordinator, florist, etc., and the space was so large and had impeccable light (our makeup artist and hair stylist were super happy with it!). We chose to use the venue coordinator, Julie, as our day of coordinator, and we cannot say enough good things about her. She was incredibly responsive, super organized, and comes from the wedding industry, so she brought up things that we didn’t even think to consider for the day of that were so helpful. Beyond that, she was so pleasant to work with and just had an amazing, chill vibe that everyone wants from their coordinator on the wedding day. It was also amazing that she works at the venue, so she knew all the ins and outs of the space and could easily coordinate with our other vendors. She helped ensure the bridal party was in the right places at the right time, moved people from room to room when needed, and helped us stay on track with the flow of the wedding, which was perfect and so seamless. She and the ROT team set up the entire space exactly as we envisioned, and everything looked beautiful! The venue is honestly perfect for a wedding. We were able to use private dining spaces in the venue for a photobooth and coat closet, plenty of bathrooms (not something you think about until you go to a wedding with too few!), an amazing outdoor space for guests to cool down/get away from the noise, a huge dance floor area, spacious dining room, and so many bars for our guests to go to. The staff were all amazing, endlessly refilling drinks and food, and everyone was incredibly nice. Even after all of the amazing things above, the best part about Rule of Thirds is the food. From the cocktail hour to the dessert, this food is amazing and well beyond typical wedding standards. We had so many guests tell us how good everything was, and we were told this was the first wedding at the venue where every single canape and raw bar item was eaten, so our guests were very happy! (if you can, splurge on the raw bar because it was so good!!) After the ceremony, they set up a spot for us to sample all the canapes and raw bar items, which we were super thankful for since we would never have eaten anything otherwise. We also had a very specific request for a mazeman noodle dish we had eaten when we toured the space a year prior, and the chef and team made it happen for us, which was AMAZING and so incredibly delicious. If you’re looking for a wedding venue and considering Rule of Thirds, DO IT! We wish we could relive the day all over again because it was so amazing, and we will forever be hoping someone else we know gets married here so we can experience something similar again.”

“One of the best decisions I made for my wedding was booking Terrace On The Park! From our very first visit and up until our big day, they were super accommodating, responsive and very organized. We’re an international couple, that was looking for an affordable, large rooftop venue that could accommodate 140 guests. The TOTP team were thorough in explaining the contracts, allowed us as many venue visits as we wished and on the day of, provided white glove service! While it rained on our big day and plans needed to change, it was all done seamlessly. They provided a small buffet of fruit, salads, and drinks in the bridal suite while we waited for our pre-ceremony photoshoot to start and the guests to arrive. The food was amazing! We’re so glad we added in the sushi platter during the cocktail hour, the amuse bouche during dinner, (the lemon sorbet was delicious) and our signature cocktail (Lavender Gin Lemonade)! Our guests are still raving about how amazing the service, food, and drinks were. We even hired ND Cigars for our cocktail hour, which added a touch of class to our event. We brought our own DJ from home, but hired a few of their preferred vendors, ACM Event Group (equipment rental & MC) and Tino Photography, for which they were all a pleasure to work with! Just a few of the amazing staff we had the opportunity to work with at TOTP are: Ken Weintraub – Event Manager Nicole Barroca – Finalist Manager Jovanna Trapani – Operations Allison – Bridal Attendant PS... The morning after our wedding we met a couple staying at our hotel that also got married at Terrace On The Park, 41 years ago!!! I never thought I could feel even more secure about the decision to book them, but I did! They too raved about how good the venue was all those years ago!! BOOK THEM NOW! You won’t regret it!”

“Brooklyn Winery was the first venue that we looked at and we immediately knew that it was the perfect fit for us. The space is absolutely beautiful and has the perfect layout for a wedding. The greenery wall was the perfect backdrop for our wedding ceremony. We also loved the skylights and all of the fun lighting fixtures throughout the space, which made for such a cozy and intimate atmosphere. We also had wonderful interactions with every single person that we worked with at Brooklyn Winery. Our first conversation and venue tour with Tatiana was extremely informative and helped to answer all of the questions that we had. This made us feel comfortable in our decision to choose Brooklyn Winery for our wedding. We got to meet more of the venue staff during our tasting and all of them were so kind to us. Everyone came over to introduce themselves and get to know us. We had dinner at the restaurant after our final walkthrough and were able to see some of the venue staff from the tasting, who remembered us and happily accommodated our dietary restrictions. And most importantly, we absolutely LOVED working with our Event Manager, Marissa Allain! Marissa was incredibly helpful in the months leading up to the wedding, providing quick responses to all of our questions. She kept us organized and thought through every little detail so that everything would run smoothly on the day of the wedding. Marissa helped us feel at ease throughout the whole process of wedding planning. She was so warm, genuine, and thoughtful and we feel so lucky to have had her as our event manager. We don’t know how we could have done it without her. The food was also a highlight of having a wedding at Brooklyn Winery. We had several guests with food allergies / dietary restrictions including dairy free, gluten free, pescatarian, vegetarian, and more. Brooklyn Winery was able to help us modify the dishes that selected to accommodate all of these dietary restrictions and make sure that there would be something for everybody to enjoy. And the food was delicious! We were blown away at how good it was and received countless compliments from friends and family. Thank you to the Brooklyn Winery team for helping us have a beautiful wedding that we will remember for the rest of our lives :)!”

“Last month we hosted our 125 person wedding at the Wythe Hotel in our local Brooklyn. We could not have asked for a more beautiful city venue or a more helpful team. Our sales director JD and our event coordinator Cassie are such pros-- both veterans of the NYC wedding industry-- and they helped make the day a real breeze. At the Wythe you really get what you pay for. We had a Saturday "off-season" wedding so the F&B minimums were high but easily met with our guest count. Our 395 a head included a premium open bar, multiple signature cocktails, passed hors d'oeuvres, a market station, a plated family style meal, coffee service, a wedding cake, all hospitality staff, coat check, A/V team, and hotel discounts. If we hadn't wanted to add extra florals and decor, the space truly would've been gorgeous bare. The Wythe team helped us manage the rest of our vendors and recommended some if we needed. We stayed onsite in one of their giant suites, which was perfect for getting ready and for first look photos. Cannot recommend this vendor enough!!”

“We had our wedding here in February—it was a beautiful space with large windows that let in so much natural light. We loved how our wedding ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception were all on different floors. The View was very accommodating of our request to also have a traditional Korean ceremony in the reception space. Overall, it’s a simple, but modern and elegant venue. “Gran Morsi was an absolute dream to work with for our wedding. Their communication was fantastic - they were quick to respond and incredibly courteous throughout the entire process. The venue itself was clean, spacious for the size of our wedding, and absolutely beautiful. All of the staff were so warm and completely on top of everything, ensuring I did not have to worry about a single detail. They truly came in clutch when we lost our original reception location, being incredibly accommodating and going above and beyond to help us any chance they could, even though we were planning our wedding all the way from Georgia. I cannot recommend Gran Morsi enough for any couple's special day.”

“My wife and I were determined to have our wedding in New York City and researched a bunch of venues in Manhattan and Brooklyn. Radegast was the last place that we visited, and we put our deposit down the day after our walk through and ended the search. Sean managed the booking for us, and we felt his attention and thoroughness immediately. This was in stark contrast to the apathy that we felt at other places; almost like we needed to work for any enthusiasm from the venue about booking with them. We felt “wined and dined” by Sean and super confident that he would take the event as seriously as we were. We ended up booking The Bier House space with the buffet food option. Our intuition was right, Radegast was incredible! Not only were they the most affordable option that we could find in the city for our number of guests, but the space was so beautiful that we didn’t have to spend money on any additional decor. The food was delicious, the staff was attentive and friendly, and all of our guests were really impressed. Sean and the staff at Radegast “bent over backwards” (a quote from our wedding planner) to make sure that our vision for the day matched reality. They helped solve any problem that came along, and did so with a smile. They were as accommodating on the day of the event as they were in the months leading up to it. The price was exactly what we were quoted, there were not any unexpected add-ons or fees. The event was an absolute blast and the venue had a lot to do with it. Also the location is incredible. Williamsburg is perfect for everyone; your NYC friends are a subway ride away, your weird conservative relatives from Long Island can park in the parking garage literally across the street and run home right after the event, and anyone unfamiliar with the city will leave the event loving how pretty Brooklyn is. This is absolutely the best value for a wedding venue in New York City and the positive vibes are through the roof!”

“My husband and I cannot say enough about the Park Savoy - the venue and the staff are absolutely incredible. Not only are the grounds stunning, not to mention you have the entire venue to yourself for the duration of your event, but the staff constantly tends to the bride and groom’s every need AS WELL as ensuring all guests are taken care of. The food is amazing and there is so much of it between cocktail hour, dinner, and dessert. It is no exaggeration to say that there is something for everyone - No one will be leaving with empty bellies! There are also so many options for those who have dietary restrictions. We got nothing but rave reviews. The staff ensures that everything goes to plan, you absolutely do not need a wedding coordinator if you get married here. As the bride at the Park Savoy, I can say I actually felt like royalty or the first lady on wedding day, but they also take care of you during the entire planning process to keep you organized. Not only do the staff provide top notch service, but they’re all so kind, you walk out of there feeling like friends. The Park Savoy runs a very well-oiled machine, and we cannot recommend this venue enough. I don’t know why anyone wouldn’t want to get married at this beautiful estate.”

Sunday In Brooklyn

“My wife and I got married in an intimate brunch ceremony in the Garden room and it was absolutely everything we wanted. The space is beautiful with tons of natural light and we were able to comfortably fit our 20 guests photographer, second shooter, and planner. The staff were super helpful and beyond friendly - our guests never had to wait around to flag someone down and they were all very happy with the steady flow of drinks and food. The staff also quickly accommodated our request to bring out many orders of the famous pancakes (which really are that good) with the rest of the food (rather than after) and did some great jigsawing with all the food on the table. They also helpfully packaged up all the leftovers into a bunch of bags, allowing our us and our guests to take home extra food. Would highly recommend Sunday in Brooklyn, particularly if you are looking for a brunch time event. Only downside was the flooring in the Garden room is wood with a decent amount of room between planks and my heels kept getting stuck between them.”

After viewing multiple venues, we landed on Maritime Parc for 7/20/24 and it was the best decision we made. Our wedding planning ran smoothly because we worked with Maritime’s team. Working with Priscila, the sales manager, was like working with family. She was available whenever I needed her which made getting answers to questions quick and easy. She went above and beyond her role. This venue offers a classy food tasting and cake tasting at their restaurant. Even though they host weddings every weekend, they made us feel that ours was very special and important. We appreciated working with Alexis on our timelines and floor-plan. She was very organized and thought of all the little things that we never would have!! Our day of Captains and Bridal Attendant, Marc, Rita and Patricia were the best!! Always there when we needed them and so so kind. My family members raved about their helpfulness. The entire staff at Maritime (servers, bartenders, valet, etc) were professional and attentive. It is rare to have such good and consistent service at a wedding. Lastly… the FOOD. What other wedding venue serves Scallops over braised short ribs?? None! Choose Maritime for a stress free wedding year!”

“We have nothing but positive things to say about our wedding at the Lippincott! Owners Marty and Tricia are a wonderful couple who are so easy to work with. It is clear that they do this because they are genuinely passionate about it and enjoy it. They were very attentive and clear about everything which made the planning a breeze and put us both at ease. Any requests or questions we had were met and answered with no problems. They run this venue like a well oiled machine. The day went so smoothly, we didn’t have to worry about a thing. Tricia made sure we ate and were enjoying ourselves throughout the whole day. Many of our guests said it was one of the best weddings they have ever been to. Not only did they compliment the food, but our guests really loved the venue. The Lippincott is so beautifully decorated and the grounds are gorgeous. We really only had to provide our floral centerpieces and whatever extra decorations we wanted. They provided the tablecloths, runners, napkins, and lots of decorations. Best of all this venue is so affordable. The all inclusive packages were a great option and saved us so much time in looking for vendors. You cannot beat the value and price of this venue. If you are looking for a low stress and affordable venue, consider the Lippincott Manor!”
