“HiMotive Entertainment & Photobooth did a great job keeping our wedding reception fun and upbeat. While their communication was a bit delayed leading up to the event, they were ultimately effective in executing on the day-of. The DJ kept the party going all night with a good song selection, though they did play 3 Taylor Swift songs in a row at the start, which we would have preferred more variety. The MC's ad-libs got a little overbearing at times, but overall they did a nice job sticking to the schedule and making important announcements. We'd recommend HiMotive to other couples looking for an energetic DJ.”

“Having a band play our Northern Virginia wedding was very important to us. We found Bachelor Boys on Instagram and relished their vibe from the get-go. They felt more personal than the conglomerates with dozens of band. We watched them perform at a showcase in the Baltimore area and loved how they structured their evening with different pairings of band members and instruments - it helped us make an informed decision about the number of instruments we wanted to include. We were wow-ed by Amber at the showcase, and were thrilled to have her emcee our wedding! Communication with the band was very straightforward. We only had a handful of requests, but otherwise, let them play the sets as they saw fit. Truthfully, I can’t remember them taking many breaks because it felt like they played the whole night! Our guests continue to say how excellent the band was! For the ceremony, the band provided a speaker and a representative to press “play” on our music. We also had a trio perform beautifully at cocktail hour. One fun note: we opted for parent dances, and the band had no issues with my Bruce Springsteen deep cut. The singer even channeled his “Boss” to really sound like Bruce! Our dance floor was full from the start, and we loved the sets they played. We had a blast dancing at our wedding - Highly recommend Bachelor Boys!”

“We used Sam Hill Entertainment to book the band “The Dickens”. This is the part of our wedding everyone is still talking about. They played such a variety that every age was able to enjoy. They had a wonderful in-depth survey where they asked about our music preferences and wedding day timeline to ensure they were fully prepared. On the day of, Tim the DJ did a phenomenal job keeping the party going and on schedule. His sense of humor was great and he did an excellent job of informing guests about upcoming events and where to go. The lighting they provided was perfect, and the DJ setup looked professional. Tim played all the songs we requested as well as taking requests from our guests throughout the night. “We had an amazing experience with The Hook Club for our wedding. Dan and his team were so easy to work with, and their 5-piece DJ band was the perfect, fun switch-up from a traditional band for our June wedding at Greenpoint Loft. We also had a ceremony guitarist and a saxophonist with tracks for the cocktail hour, which added great touches to the day. The uplights they brought for the room were priced very well and created a beautiful atmosphere. The music planning worksheet they provided was incredibly helpful, and they offered valuable advice on the timeline and flow of the reception, which was a huge help. They were fun to work with, and on the night of the wedding, they absolutely crushed it. The music was fantastic, they kept the vibes high, and their crowd engagement was excellent.
