“The photographer, videographer, and photo booth was absolutely perfect and our guests had a blast! However, even after going through the work of submitting a Spotify play list and adding do not play songs or DJ played the wrong version of our first dance song (I checked and we had the correct version listed on our playlist we sent over), he also played songs from our do not play list to the point I, the bride, came over to ask if he had the wrong list. He admitted he was using songs from the do not play list as he was not paying attention. I would also like to note, though our wedding was more casual, our DJ was dressed in a sloppy manner. His shirt was half untucked from his pants, there were stains on his shirt and pants. Besides a few hiccups, direct Entertainment was wonderful to work with!”

“Summit Events was the perfect choice for our wedding entertainment! Having a fun dance floor and awesome music has been something that I have dreamed about forever. I was nervous to find the right fit and was so relieved to have found Summit Events. From the beginning, we ended up working with the DJ who would perform the night of. Chris Funkhouser (who seriously brought the funk!) was amazing to work with! During our consultations he was able to answer all our questions and concerns. He was able to put his swing on things from his experience to help provide the right vibes we were looking for. We pretty much already knew all the songs that we wanted to play so the program they used was perfect! It was detailed in the timing of the night, how long or short to play songs and any other special requests we wanted to have. On the night of the wedding, Chris was a blast -energetic, observant, and focused on keeping the dance floor alive all night long. He even joined us out there, helping to keep the party going strong! He was able to use his best judgement in placing some of the lighting and monogram details we chose which turned out great! We highly recommend Summit Events to any couple looking for top-notch entertainment for their wedding!”

“HiMotive Entertainment & Photobooth did a great job keeping our wedding reception fun and upbeat. While their communication was a bit delayed leading up to the event, they were ultimately effective in executing on the day-of. The DJ kept the party going all night with a good song selection, though they did play 3 Taylor Swift songs in a row at the start, which we would have preferred more variety. The MC's ad-libs got a little overbearing at times, but overall they did a nice job sticking to the schedule and making important announcements. We'd recommend HiMotive to other couples looking for an energetic DJ.”

“If you want a wedding where people actually dance all night, hire Double E. Elon was incredible. Right after dinner, Elon took over and kept the floor full until the lights came on. He played a great mix that had everyone out there, from our college friends to our grandparents. His announcements were clean, the speech timing was spot on, and he was never annoying on the mic. His flow was infectious and kept the people dancing. Beyond that, he worked seamlessly with our other vendors and the venue to coordinate A/V logistics and was very collaborative with us throughout the process leading up to the big day. “First and foremost we’d like to say Desmond is like family to us. We hired Desmond for our wedding in August 2025. One thing that must be pointed out is how committed he is to playing his role in any event, he had a whole tv trailer to make things so much more convenient as a traveling DJ/ entertainment. He did an amazing job executing our song requests and making a dope mix including all our or favorite genres and artists and keep the party going. In addition, Desmond was very attentive and hands on during our wedding, he made it his mission to meat everyone on the team and get to know family. We love love loved having him as our Dj and would t change a thing about it. We highly recommend hiring him and we promise you won’t regret it.
