“The Crystal Tea Room (CTR) was amazing and Finley Catering knows how to run and host an event! We had been to a couple of events at the CTR so we thought we knew what to expect when we toured, but touring it ourselves we realized just how beautiful the space is. After taking the elevators up, everything is on one level which made it very accessible for our guests and there was plenty of space for all of our guests (252), during cocktail hour too. We got married on 1/2/2026 and the wintery/cozy vibes were perfect in the atrium during cocktail hour as the sun had already set. All of Finley’s staff was there to help from the planning coordinators to the day-of coordinators. They have run so many events, so everything ran smoothly, professionally, friendly, and all of our questions were answered promptly and they eased all our nerves during all our planning meetings. Lots of our guests are from Philly originally, so they were thrilled to hear our wedding was at the CTR and it did not disappoint! They are still raving about it! Ou ceremony was on site and it was beautifully setup; The cocktail hour food and drinks were amazing; specialty cocktails were perfect and we were able to get exactly what we wanted; dinner was perfect (ate quickly to get back to the dance floor!); dessert was delicious and Master’s Baker made an incredible cake. Finley gave us the top of the cake to take home the next day which was wonderful too. We had our after party at the CTR as well and it was a great time with DJ, more food, and drinks included! Everything was in budget too which was great. All in all 100/10, we cannot recommend Finley Catering and the Crystal Tea Room enough. It truly was a perfect evening!”

“We held our wedding reception at the Loews Philadelphia Hotel in November 2024 as well as hosted our wedding room block. We'd highly recommend for both! We have nothing but absolutely positive things to say about Andreea Denes with catering. We've worked with Andreea for about a year and a half now and she feels like family! Andreea is both professional and personable and ensured we knew all our options for a reception at the Loews. Andreea helped us take advantage of all the amazing event spaces the Loews has to offer (cocktail hour on the 33rd floor, reception in the Millennium Hall, after party in Bank & Bourbon) as well as created a custom package for our reception and cocktail hour that reflected everything we could have wanted. Maria and Lena with the room reservation teams were so wonderful to work with, taking amazing care of our families and accommodating all our changes and requests. The entire Loews staff (catering, concierge, front desk, etc) was absolutely wonderful during our stay. Our guests are still commenting on the exceptional service. About a third of our wedding guests stayed at the Loews and expressed it was the perfect location to spend the weekend exploring Philadelphia.”

“The Hotel Palomar went above and beyond for our wedding weekend in the spring. We had our rehearsal dinner, ceremony, reception, and morning after brunch as well as our room block at the hotel. The even coordinator, Erin S. and the entire team involved went above and beyond every step of the way. Five months before our wedding, I had to have major surgery and quarantine for two – three months after. I was unable to attend our food tasting but my fiancé and both sets of parents went on my behalf. Erin was not only understanding but supportive as my own family and friends were – checking in and celebrating with me after the surgery. When the tasting came, the chef sent home full-sized portions for me to try at home. This was in addition to the full-sized ones my family tried as well. The entire staff was there to answer any questions from me or our family. We had several dietary restrictions which Erin coordinated with the chef on our behalf to make sure those guests were included without having to worry. We had a memorial table as well as several things to be set out (guest book, favors, name cards, etc.). I gave all these items to the team and it was fully taken care of for me and they even knew which favors were to be for gluten free guests. Erin provided a list of pre-approved vendors they had worked with before (we didn’t have to use these) and we ended up using a lot of them. Erin coordinated with them directly as needed, photography locations for if it rained and DJ timeline. Due to the top tier efforts of the entire hotel, we were AHEAD of schedule the entire weekend which really allowed everyone to be fully present. My bridal party and I were in the suite for preparations and they continued to go above and beyond. We had a team member bring us our food and coffee order and he was so accommodating. He brought iced coffee when I mentioned that’s my preferences and we talked about our pets since I had my dog with me (as did several of our guests). Our guests were also well taken care of – from unpacking cars for their stays to helping our vendors get to their locations. I would sit here and list every name of every person that I felt were stars but honestly, it was the entire team. Everyone I encountered the whole time was a five star person. I cannot recommend this location enough for any occasion including just a regular weekend stay in Philadelphia.”

“The Guild House team was fantastic to work with for our micro-wedding! We wanted something moody, yet modern and ties in well with women's history and we enjoyed every minute of it. Stepping back in time, you see the attention to detail, the lounge was intimate, yet spacious enough to have a ceremony with 20 of our closest friends and family with us. The space transformed into a candlelit dinner with our caterer and the team was flawless in execution. We felt like the team made strides to keep us informed and happy! Highly recommend!”

From the moment we walked in, we were floored. From the very beginning of booking through making changes with guest count and allergies and rehearsal day changes, etc. the Arts Ballroom and Isabella were phenomenal. She answered every question I had over the course of our 18 months of planning. They truly made our vision come to life. Now let’s talk about the food!! TO DIE FOR!! I cannot say enough about the food. We wish they had a restaurant that we could go to for date night just to have a meal. Every part of our day was absolutely perfect, and we cannot think Isabella and the team enough for making our day the wedding of our dreams!!”

“My sister got married at The Racquet Club of Philadelphia this year and it was seriously so much fun! The separate spaces for cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing made it really unique and a great experience for all of our guests. While my aunts and uncles needed a break from dancing, they could go into the reading room and relax with a cocktail in hand. The food provided by Jeffrey A. Miller Hospitality Group was INCREDIBLE!!! They offered so much. Between the hanging pretzels and guacamole bar and oysters, to dinner service of delicious choices, to dessert including beignets and cannolis, we were stuffed by the end! And to top it all off we my sister was able to host her after party just downstairs in their speakeasy lounge. I would highly suggest anyone getting married to look at The Racquet Club of Philadelphia for their wedding!”

“We had such an incredible experience at the Warwick for our wedding day. Right from the site visit, we knew that this was the venue for us. David, Ciara and the entire staff at the Warwick made every step of the way very easy and stress-free. They were accommodating and patient with every single request we asked for. Each meeting and site visit we had was always very productive and we would make lots of decisions which was great. It’s really easy for the food at a hotel wedding to not be memorable, but it was exceptional at the Warwick. We received so many compliments on the hors d'oeuvres and also on how perfectly the salmon was cooked for the entree. We also had great servers and bartenders throughout the whole night and our guests had the best time with them. The venue was already a gorgeous canvas to work with, but to have the staff be as exceptional as they were really made the experience smooth for us.”

“We held our September 2025 wedding reception at The Rittenhouse. The food was excellent, the space looked beautiful, and the service on the wedding day was wonderful. Our dedicated server was spectacular both during our tasting and at the reception—attentive, warm, and one of the true standouts of our experience. The planning process was more challenging. Even after Jarret and I specifically asked to be included directly in decisions, communication often continued through our planner. This was especially frustrating because our planner was not providing the level of attentiveness promised, making direct communication with the venue even more important. We were also supposed to meet with the pastry team, but that meeting never happened. Although the cake tasted good, its appearance fell short of what we envisioned and felt like an afterthought in the overall design. After the wedding, aside from a congratulatory email that included our paid folios, no one meaningfully followed up to ask about our experience or invite feedback. Given the level of the event and The Rittenhouse’s reputation for luxury hospitality, we found that surprising. Overall, the culinary and banquet teams delivered an excellent reception, and our guests were very well cared for. We are grateful for the beautiful celebration, while believing the communication, pastry-design process, and post-event follow-up could have been much stronger.”

“We love the FI, my husband and I both have amazing childhood memories running around their exhibits. As a wedding venue it was even more amazing! Pepper Hall with candlelit mood and florals added was like a soft classic library from a fairytale, our ceremony in that room felt magical. Our guests loved running through the exhibits during our happy hour, the little ones invited were playing in there most of the night. Last but not least our Franklin Hall reception was breathtaking and so much fun! Tara and the FI team made communication and planning a breeze. Tara especially was the greatest reference for any questions or worries we had. She was positive, so responsive, and had solutions and advice for everything! We are so obsessed with our choice of venue and we highly recommend it to any couple looking for a really unique and special venue!”

This beautiful New Beaux-Arts style building, constructed in 1908 and designed by Cope and Stewardson, has the unique distinction of being home to the oldest medical society in the country (founded in 1787) and the renowned Mütter Museum. The magnificent columned Marble Rotunda, with its view of a classic grand staircase, sets the stage for any occasion. With its historic ambience and stately architecture, it’s no wonder that the College – located in Philadelphia’s charming Rittenhouse-Fitler Historic District – has been the chosen setting for a diverse range of memorable events.

“This place is really the spot for a once in a lifetime dark romantic wedding. First of all, the venue really speaks for itself. The spaces, from the garden to the ballrooms are so beautiful, it doesn't really require a lot of dressing up. Also, when you go with the College of Physicians, you get a full buyout. The whole place is yours, including museum access, which was super important to us. The in house caterer, Catering By Design also makes the whole process a turn key solution. They have the tables, linens, silverware, plates, and a super team. No need to source everything from a million vendors. Despite the fact that they are the exclusive caterer, CBD does not take your experience for granted. They put a ton of care into bringing your vision to life, the food is truly superb, and was a consistent hit with our friends and family. A few things we feel should mention. The museum does have some form of plans for renovations and expansion. We recommend checking with the current status of their plans before committing 100%. We also found that those plans can shift slightly, and for us it was beneficial to be flexible on things like the grooms suite and our first look location. With that being said, we would absolutely have our wedding here again. The rates were extremely reasonable for what you get, and for us it was so unique and memorable. We want to give a special shout out to our contact at CBD Ginger, and Carolyn who handled florals. Thank you guys for making our wedding the best night of our lives.”

When it comes time to dance and dine, custom draperies and lighting transform the atrium to an intimate ballroom — and a canvas for decor both tastefully simple or ornately embellished. A full on-site kitchen, newly installed by Constellation, ensures a fresh, delicious culinary experience for guests at very morsel.

  • Not wheelchair accessible

“The Curtis Atrium is a wedding venue unlike any other! The space is huge, right in the heart of the city, and walkable to local hotels and so many historic sites. The room speaks for itself—you need very minimal decor. The high ceilings, stunning floors, and beautiful water fountain make it breathtaking, and the double staircase and balcony create an epic entrance for the reception. Constellation Catering nailed it with the food—our guests couldn’t stop raving about both cocktail hour and dinner, especially the grilled short rib. The staff was also incredible, so pleasant and extremely hardworking. Kumbah, who came on as head of catering during our planning, wasn’t always the most responsive, but she absolutely killed it on the day of the wedding—have trust in her. One tip: make sure to ask for a list of alcohol for the bar or send them exactly what you want ahead of time. Overall, The Curtis Atrium is a dream location for a wedding, and our day was exactly that!”

“We truly could not have asked for a better experience with the Stratus team! From the very beginning, our event coordinator, Katie, was absolutely incredible. She made the entire planning process feel so easy by communicating everything clearly, keeping us organized, and helping us make decisions whenever we felt overwhelmed or indecisive. Having someone so knowledgeable and supportive made all the difference. The venue itself was absolutely stunning and exactly what we had envisioned for our wedding. Every member of the staff was kind, professional, and went above and beyond to make sure everything ran seamlessly. The food was phenomenal, and we received countless compliments from our guests about both the food and the drinks all night long. Hotel Monaco was also absolutely beautiful. Nearly all of our family and friends stayed there, and despite it being an incredibly busy weekend with the start of the World Cup, the accommodations were excellent. The rooms were spotless, comfortable, and beautifully designed, and our guests loved spending time at Red Owl Tavern before and after the wedding. Overall, the entire experience exceeded our expectations. We are so grateful to Katie and the entire Stratus team for making our day unforgettable. We would recommend them 10 out of 10 for any wedding or special event! We wish we had our photos back to share how beautiful it was!”

“We had our wedding at Cicala and couldn’t have picked a more perfect place. The space is so beautiful, and you can really feel the history of the building. It already has so much character that we really didn’t need to do much to make it feel special. The team was always on top of everything, the invoices were always right, and we never felt like we had to chase anyone down. The owners were also so welcoming to my mom and siblings, which meant a lot to us. By the end of the night, we even had the chef out on the dance floor with us, which pretty much sums up how fun and personal the whole experience felt. Dawn was also really great to work with throughout the planning process. She was *extremely* responsive, organized, and easy to communicate with. We also used several vendors from her recommended vendor list, and every single one of them was incredible. We couldn’t have imagined a more perfect place to have our wedding and highly recommend Cicala to anyone looking for a venue that feels beautiful, unique, and actually personal.”

“We had our micro wedding at Yards. The event coordinator was quick to respond to emails, but she was pretty much MIA for the entire wedding. I saw her once at the beginning to set the video up for the tv and never saw her again. We discussed how I wanted the room set up for the day via email, but it wasn’t set up when we arrived. I had to ask the servers in the room to rearrange the furniture, get more tables and chairs, and to remove some of the decorations (this was all discussed prior to us arriving that day). We also ran out of food at one point so we had to ask for everything to be refilled. Luckily the servers we had were phenomenal and helped us with everything we needed!”

“My now husband and I have been going to Fringe since early in our dating. It's a place we love for its beer garden, good food, cool building, and view of the Ben Franklin Bridge twinkling at night. We knew we wanted to celebrate our wedding here, but we had no idea just how magical the experience would be. Working with Liz at Fringe Bar and Devi at FringeArts Theater made everything so easy. Liz was incredible to work with on all details regarding food and drink menu, schedule of events, and coordinating with other vendors including table rentals, florists, and musicians. Her recommendations were spot on, and our night flowed so effortlessly on our side because of the whole staff's diligent work to make our experience amazing. Our guests enjoyed the indoor and outdoor beer garden during cocktail hour with ample places to cozy up on a beautiful fall night, drinking cocktails outside and inside while kids played corn hole and garden games. When we moved dinner into the theater space, guests were blown away by the delicious food and ambiance. Every appetizer, cocktail, and entree was out of this world delicious, and we had no problem with allergies or dietary restrictions at our 130 person reception. Our guests are still talking about how great the food and service was, months after the fact. Liz made all of our wildest dreams come true. 300 freshly shucked oysters during cocktail hour? You got it. Mai tais with housemade orgeat? It's their specialty. Steak frites for the adults and grilled cheese for the kids? No problem at all. Fireball shots in the middle of dinner with Pitbull's "Fireball" playing in the background? Executed perfectly. The wine poured effortlessly, nobody had to wait at the beautiful bar for a cocktail made to order, and best of all: Liz was spot on in her price estimates so there were no surprises at the end of the night. We went to Fringe the next day to sign the final bill, and Liz was waiting for us with boxed up leftovers from dinner and dessert for our family to enjoy while we flew off on our honeymoon. Liz and every person working with her is really, truly, the best in the business. My husband and I agree that celebrating our wedding at Fringe was the easiest and best decision we made. We couldn't have asked for anything better.”

When we were thinking about where to do our pre-wedding get together Libertee was the first place that came to mind. Ellie was incredible in making our vision come to reality. The night before our wedding we ended up having 200 people come from all over the world, asian fusion buffet, open bar, a DJ and henna artist, and watched our families have the time of their lives and mingle. Our guests raved about their time and many have since been frequenting the grounds. Ellie and the LG team made the event completely seamless and our only worry was how to save our voices for the Wedding day! We highly highly recommend Libertee grounds for any event big or small, and can't wait to be back!”
