Capturing the elegance of a bygone era, the Arts Ballroom is a beautiful setting for life’s feature occasions. Our floor plan boasts a magnificent Grand Ballroom, a signature granite staircase, a mirrored Sylvania Room, and a Lounge & Mezzanine overlooking the full venue. Our customizable 10,000 square foot space lends best to events from 300-550 guests. Located in the Avenue of the Arts District, blocks from City Hall and the Convention Center, the Arts Ballroom is a hidden gem amongst Philadelphia’s most distinguished institutions dedicated to arts, culture, education, and entertainment.

Grand Ballroom

Featuring mahogany doors, hardwood floors, French imported stretch acoustic ceiling, a marble fireplace, and a stunning granite staircase, the Grand Ballroom embodies elegance. The Grand Ballroom can host a wide array of events including weddings, mitzvahs, corporate functions, galas, milestone events, fashion shows, & product launches. This Ballroom can formally seat 230 guests & hold 250 guests for cocktail formats.

Sylvania Room

Distinguished and stately, the Sylvania Room is adjacent to the Grand Ballroom. This Ballroom is often used for cocktail receptions for up to 300 guests or plated dinners for up to 100 seated guests. Adorned in crystal chandeliers, a myriad of mirrors, and a top-shelf backlit marble bar, this room radiates grace and panache.

Truly A Dream Come True at this Venue
The Arts ballroom is truly a gem hidden in the heart of center city Philadelphia. They truly made our wedding night a dream come true. We were showered with compliments in the moment and afterwards about the exceptional service and how this venue provided "the best wedding people have ever attened". The arts ballroom owner and staff treat you as a person truly celebrating an important moment rather than just a costumer they are getting money from . The food is beyond exceptional. Seriously , delicious and more than you can ever imagine. There is something for legitimately EVERYONE. The ballroom is gorgeous, and required limited resources to make it shine. Their all-inclusive package made wedding planning SO much easier, to the point I could enjoy the process rather than stress over it. I can give nothing but praise to this venue , and would recommend it in a heart beat for anything planning a Philadelphia based wedding.

Perfection!
Wow is an understatement! From our first meeting with Isabella through the day of - we were BLOWN AWAY! When we made the appointment to visit the Arts Ballroom, we had no expectations. From the moment we walked in, we were floored. From the very beginning of booking through making changes with guest count and allergies and rehearsal day changes, etc. the Arts Ballroom and Isabella were phenomenal. She answered every question I had over the course of our 18 months of planning. They truly made our vision come to life. Now let’s talk about the food!! TO DIE FOR!! I cannot say enough about the food. We wish they had a restaurant that we could go to for date night just to have a meal. Every part of our day was absolutely perfect, and we cannot think Isabella and the team enough for making our day the wedding of our dreams!!

The Arts Ballroom was the perfect venue for our wedding. From the beginning, the team (Nicole, then Isabelle) was prompt and easygoing in their communication, making the planning process a breeze. The ballroom itself is absolutely beautiful - classy and spacious, with plenty of room for all our guests. And the food and drinks were amazing, with so many delicious options to choose from. Our guests are still raving about the quality and amount of food. We couldn't have asked for a better experience, and would highly recommend the Arts Ballroom to any couple looking for a stunning, well-run wedding venue.

Our wedding at the Arts Ballroom was a largely positive experience, defined by the venue's inherent elegance and excellent service. The grand ballroom provided a stunning backdrop, truly making the event feel special. The bridal suite and makeup room were well-appointed and contributed to a seamless preparation process. We were also impressed with the attentiveness and professionalism of the waitstaff, as well as the exceptional quality of the food. One area that presented challenges was the coordination. We experienced multiple changes in our event coordinator, which led to inconsistencies in communication. While the initial transitions were not handled as smoothly as we would have liked, the situation improved significantly with the assignment of Celia as our coordinator. Her dedication, attention to detail, and proactive approach were instrumental in ensuring the success of our wedding day. We commend her efforts and believe she is a valuable asset to the Arts Ballroom team. Overall, we highly recommend the Arts Ballroom for its beautiful venue and commitment to service. We advise prospective clients to ensure continuity in event coordination to fully maximize the venue's potential.

The Best Venue Ever
The team at Arts Ballroom provided us with an exceptional wedding experience from start to finish. Their communication was excellent, consistent, and they were extremely responsive to all of our questions and needs. The venue itself is truly stunning, with top-tier decor, furniture, and accommodations that exceeded our expectations. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our special day was perfect, even catering to our specific needs for allergies and religious beliefs. We couldn't imagine having our wedding anywhere else and are so grateful to the entire Arts Ballroom team for making our day unforgettable.
