Jenny absolutely crushed it. I gave her little to no direction, just “pink” and shared my vision. To say she read my mind is an understatement. Her passion in explaining each flower was beautiful, and her work is even more incredible. I wish i could have my wedding all over again so i could have her florals all over again!!!

I am honestly not even sure where to start. Charmaine was absolutely incredible. Originally, my husband and I were very nervous about hiring a florist. I mean, flowers are expensive! After a few weeks of wedding planning, however, we realized that we couldn't do it all ourselves. That's when we reached out to Charmaine. During our first call, I explicitly expressed our budget concerns with her. She made sure to keep our concerns in mind throughout the entire process, and the results were beautiful flowers that were right in our price range! Charmaine was consistently professional, kind, and she always responded to my texts and calls within minutes. Even though I hired her as a florist, she turned out to be a wonderful wedding planner as well! The florals were absolutely stunning! She went above and beyond for both the ceremony and reception. We received so many complements on them. I cannot recommend her enough for weddings and events!

Jaclyn and her team truly went above and beyond with the florals for our wedding day last weekend. She took what I had pictured in my head and somehow took it to even another level! I've been getting comments all week about how incredible the flowers were. From our first conversation (where we accidentally ended up talking and brainstorming for almost 2 hours!!) I had a feeling she would be just the right person for the job and I think that gut instinct was more than correct! From the altar pedestals and aisle meadows, to the ceiling greenery, to the wrapped columns, table designs, bouquets, etc it was all so stunning and really made our somewhat industrial-feeling raw space come alive and feel magical. Thank you again!

My love of art and nature have led me to where i am today. I thrive when I can create and to be able to make a work of art with flowers, truly brings me a great joy. I want to bring your visions to reality through flowers on your special day or exciting events. Over my years of training in both traditional art and floral design I have developed my own personal style that is anything but traditional, but more so unique- just like all of us. True Elizabeth Flowers
Rating: 5.0 (1 review)
  • Serves Patchogue, NY

True Elizabeth brings creativity, attention to detail, flower knowledge, and pride ourselves on the working relationships we have with our clients. The arrangements we make are casually elegant bouquets. It isn’t about coloring within the lines, but rather making whimsical, playful arrangements that are beautiful and always unique and personal.

Betsy is a dream florist! I followed her work before meeting with her, so I knew her style aligned with my vision. We had a June wedding in the city. She brought all the soft late spring colors and blooms to a very city venue. It not only brightened up the space, her work really was the perfect accent/highlight. The flowers paired perfectly with the guest attire and bridal attendants dresses. We worked with her on a couple of versions of the vision to get it right. We sent her inspiration and styles that really spoke to us and she brought the vision to life! I loved her flowers to much I had them pressed and framed after. Such a special memory, and a person I will forever recommend as my go-to Florist. Her team are not based in NYC. They drove 2 hrs each way to Brooklyn to set up and breakdown the space. We and our guests were just so thrilled with her work!

I was initially very skeptical of online flower rental companies, but we are SO THRILLED and grateful for using SBB. Something Borrowed Blooms proved to be responsive and solution-focused, addressing every question we had with speed and clarity. As a summer wedding on Cape Cod we met with some traditional florists and initially received a quote of 7k for real florals! SBB worked with us to create the same stunning look using their silk blooms for just 2k, saving us thousands of dollars without sacrificing beauty and quality! The quality blew us away; our guests were genuinely shocked to learn the flowers weren't real when we told them! The Charlotte Collection was the perfect fit for our vision, and the blooms arrived early in incredible condition. We also used the Mostest package add on for day of coordination and handling the boxes and set up of the flowers. We honestly didn't have to worry about a thing from start to finish, and their easy return process gave us complete peace of mind. Something Borrowed Blooms is a game-changer if you want gorgeous florals that won't drain your budget!!

Flower Moxie – Do-It-Yourself Wedding Flowers
Rating: 4.9 (101 reviews)
  • Starts at $350
  • Serves Patchogue, NY

In 2013, 8-year wedding veteran Amy McCord Jones realizes she wouldn't be able to afford to hire her own floral services if she was a bride. Then, Amy discovers that there is basically zero help available for DIY brides. No flower recipes. No instructions. No access to florist-grade blooms. Rude. So she launches Flower Moxie! Flower Moxie remains a humble, tucked-away small business out of Oklahoma City. We don’t zoom around on scooters in some fancy high-rise. We stock an average kitchen with canned wine and Aldi chips and listen to true crime podcasts while photographing curvy ranunculus. Join us. There’s cake, hugs, and acceptance here.

Awarded Best of Zola
If you really want to save money on florals, then go with Flower Moxie! Just a heads up, IT IS A LOT OF WORK, but they give you very clear email instructions of what to expect and there are MANY resources they provide through articles, videos, etc. I was mistaken in thinking that all I would have to do is arrange flowers in vases. You are actually cutting, cleaning and processing everything. We refused to spend money on flowers through a florist, but with Flower Moxie, we were able to incorporate some florals for a very reasonable price!

Floral Eden is an East Coast floral décor and production company creating weddings and events that feel beautiful, intentional, and completely personal. We handle everything from personal flowers and centerpieces to ceremony installations, reception décor, styling, setup, repurposing, and breakdown. Our goal is to make the whole space feel connected, not like a bunch of separate floral pieces. We love taking a couple’s ideas, Pinterest boards, random screenshots, and “I don’t really know how to explain it” moments and turning them into something that actually feels like them.

The Floral Eden brought our wedding vision to life in ways we didn't even expect. From our first conversation, the team responded to every question and concern right away, and they truly understood what we wanted for our big day. They created the most stunning centerpieces that sat on each table, and candles were placed throughout the venue to set the perfect mood. When we walked into our reception, the combination of florals and candlelight made everything feel absolutely magical and romantic. The quality of their work was exceptional, and we felt like we got incredible value for what they delivered. We can't recommend The Floral Eden highly enough to any couple planning their wedding.

Working with Lorrie was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. She is supportive, down-to-earth, incredibly responsive, and a true professional, which is exactly what you want in a vendor while navigating such a stressful process. I’m not well-versed with flowers by any means, so we spent time on a call reviewing inspiration photos and talking through my vision. Not only did Lorrie take my vision and run with it, but she exceeded my expectations in every way. We didn’t allocate a large budget for florals, as we wanted the scenic backdrop to shine, and we were so appreciative of how thoughtfully Lorrie made the most of what we had. Our venue, which was a rooftop bar with floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the ESB and Times Square, was already stunning, yet she somehow elevated it even further. There are not enough words to describe how ecstatic we were with the floral arrangements and altar decor. To Lorrie and her team, we are so grateful to have worked with you. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

Isabel truly exceeded expectations. I knew next to nothing about flowers going into this experience. When Isabel presented the initial inspiration design board for the wedding, I made a couple of comments of things I liked and did not like. Isabel took all that feedback, and some inspiration photos I emailed her, and truly made the most beautiful wedding flowers in the world! She was also very fun, professional, and low stress, which enabled me to feel comfortable providing the initial comments and getting the flowers of my dreams for the actual wedding day. Isabel also added fun fruit and candles to the the table, creating an experience my guests are still discussing to this day.

Dean Street Daisies
Rating: 5.0 (12 reviews)

Hi there! I’m Karina, an architect turned floral designer dabbling in all things daisies and more! My enthusiasm for floristry began in Brooklyn as a way to express my love for nature and design, but mostly so I could bring color, life, and beauty into my apartment on, you guessed it, Dean Street! Now, Dean Street Daisies has blossomed into a full-service floral and event design studio along the Hudson River where we design with form, texture, and palette in mind, creating florals that feel intentional, dynamic, and unmistakably memorable. When submitting an inquiry, you must include a floral specific budget to connect with us. Thank you!

Awarded Best of Zola
If I could do my wedding all over again, I would just so that I can re-live how amazing my flowers were at my wedding!!! I was introduced to Karina from Dean Street Daisies by a colleague at work after I mentioned to him how anxious I was about my flowers for the wedding. I emailed Karina, and in less than 24 hours she scheduled a consultation meeting with me and had been nothing but a delight to work with since then. We bonded on the fact that we are both architects, so I knew how responsible, detail oriented, and design focused she would be. I was not too sure what I wanted in the beginning, so during our consultation, she helped guide me through specific questions about my vision, what colors I'm attracted to, what type of flowers I typically like, etc. Her consultation helped me do a more thorough research, so after I sent her a general moodboard, Karina quickly built and shared with me a design presentation along with a detailed cost analysis that was perfectly within my budget. Karina was honest and upfront from the beginning about how much things would cost, and helped me find the right balance of number of arrangements/ types of flowers that would be around my budget and still fit my vision. And let me tell you... I went from not prioritizing flowers on my wedding day, to the flowers becoming the most important feature of the day! They were absolutely MAGICAL. Everyone was raving about them, and two months later, I still go through all my pictures and daydream about how beautiful my arrangements and bouquets were. If I could give 10 stars for Karina's artistry, professionalism, and commitment to her important role in my wedding I would. Thank you again!!

Port Washington Florist 5 out of 5 stars I can’t say enough wonderful things about our local florist! We had elected to not use flowers at our wedding because we were going for a more celestial vibe and focused on lighting using telescopes and a grand orrery to create our centerpieces but at the last minute realized we needed corsages and boutonnieres. We sent a message over google to reach out for information and got an immediate response. All communication was handled immediately and we were given such amazing suggestions and such beautiful products. Originally I was only doing the boutonnieres where I sent color swatches of the dresses and was assisted in picking the right color flower. Next, I changed my mind and added corsages and boutonnieres for the parents and again I gave color swatches via our email thread and they helped me with no problem. My last project was a way to make the lady of honor stand out. We had lanterns for the women in the wedding party and the staff suggested using ivy and more of the calla lilies to decorate the lantern. It was gorgeous and people were talking about it all night. I couldn’t have had a better or more simple experience than what Port Washington Florist offered me. The prices were amazing, the work was impeccable, everything was on time and ready and they were so helpful through the entire process.

I can't praise Amy and her team enough for the breathtaking flower arrangements they created for my July 4th wedding! From the very first consultation, it was clear that Amy truly understood my vision and brought it to life with stunning creativity. The selection of flowers was vibrant and perfectly matched our color scheme, featuring a beautiful blend of reds, whites, and blues that added a festive touch to the celebration. Each arrangement was meticulously crafted, showcasing not only the flowers but also thoughtful accents like greenery and seasonal blooms that enhanced the overall aesthetic. The centerpieces were show-stoppers, elegantly designed to suit the tables while allowing for easy conversation among guests. Amy's attention to detail was evident in every bouquet, corsage, and floral installation, making the entire venue feel magical. Beyond their artistry, the team was incredibly professional, timely, and adaptable, ensuring everything was set up flawlessly before the ceremony. Many guests complimented the flowers throughout the day, and they truly added to the joyful atmosphere. I wholeheartedly recommend Amy and her team for any event—they exceeded all expectations and made my wedding day even more special!
