Rachel was incredible to work with! We haven’t stopped receiving compliments about our flower arrangements and how beautiful they were. I can’t wait to get my bouquet pressed frame!!! Communicating with her was so easy. She was also so flexible when we had some last minute changes. Her mood boards were so helpful and really helped us envision our florals! We really appreciated that she stuck around to help repurpose some florals after our ceremony. We’re so happy and honored to have worked with her! You won’t regret hiring Sunset Florals!

Flower Moxie – Do-It-Yourself Wedding Flowers

      5.0

      Oklahoma City, OK
      • Serves Parkville, MD

In 2013, 8-year wedding veteran Amy McCord Jones realizes she wouldn't be able to afford to hire her own floral services if she was a bride. Then, Amy discovers that there is basically zero help available for DIY brides. No flower recipes. No instructions. No access to florist-grade blooms. Rude. So she launches Flower Moxie! Flower Moxie remains a humble, tucked-away small business out of Oklahoma City. We don’t zoom around on scooters in some fancy high-rise. We stock an average kitchen with canned wine and Aldi chips and listen to true crime podcasts while photographing curvy ranunculus. Join us. There’s cake, hugs, and acceptance here.

      Awarded Best of Zola
I used Flower Moxie for my son and daughter-in-law's wedding florals. I cannot say enough good things about the flowers, supplies and support received. I primarily worked with Maria and she made sure that I had everything I needed. I recommend watching the video tutorials that FM provides as they are super fun and informative. Kudos to Amy and team for this great approach! The flowers arrived 3 days prior to the wedding...follow the recommended flower prep which maximizes the blooms and makes the arranging way easier. The flowers achieved maximum bloom by the wedding day and were gorgeous...received tons of complements on our organic/rustic designs. For approximately 700, I designed my own combo and we made a huge bridal bouquet, 4 large bridesmaid bouquets, 1 med throwing bouquet, 2 med arrangements for head table, 10 boutonnieres, 4 wrist corsages and 5 hair combs...with backup flowers to spare. What a savings from using a florist! I would definitely use Flower Moxie again and highly recommend them!

We ordered Millie and we love her! Our colors were black and white with a pop of blue and this collection was perfect. The flower swags came out a bit too late for us so we matched with the Taylor collection and it was perfect. Delivery and returns were so easy!

Besides designing for you, I also offer DIY Wood Flower Experiences to create your wedding florals alongside me in person or virtually and 1:1 sessions to help DIY brides learn to do it themselves.

      Awarded Best of Zola
I am so thankful that I used Wood & Word Blooms for my wedding flowers. Jen was so patient and kind while I obsessed over what colors to have for my flowers since my main color was sage and that isn't ideal for florals (In my opinon). From the moment I started planning my wedding I knew I wanted something that was not real because I have a lot of allergies and I wanted to be able to keep it forever. When I came across Wood & Word Blooms, I first did a class. Once I did that, I knew this was the perfect place for my wedding florals. I am so grateful that I can still have my bouquet and other florals weeks to years after my wedding. Every time I see them hanging I smile because it reminds me of my special day.

All I can say is WOW. Decor and flower arrangements was never an area I had planned on devoting much time or money on for our wedding. It was one of the last details we finalized and we’re so grateful to have found Mary. She was so easy to communicate with, was patient with not many detailed questions, and the day off delivery was beyond our expectation. My now husband and I had an amazingly beautiful wedding celebration Saturday and it was the happiest day of our lives! One thing that didn't go unnoticed was the decor - Mary did an AWESOME job. I was really impressed walking into the reception and seeing our sweetheart table and the rest of the tables so beautifully decorated. It was a huge part of making our event elevated! Thank you again for being part of what made our day special!

      Terra Florals

      5.0

      Spring Grove, PA
      • Starts at $2,000
      • Serves Parkville, MD

Loni and the team at Terra Florals provide brides with the best flowers in the mid-Atlantic. When folks who know Loni think of flowers... they think of her. She and her husband are the founders of Terra Florals, the region's premier cut flower farm. Folks come from across the country to visit the farm's huge cut flowers fields and stay at the on-farm bed and breakfast. With legendary design skills and a massive following, Loni leads design classes, coaches local growers and provides flowers for many of the area's florists and designers. Even if her calendar is too full to build your dream wedding florals... be sure to demand her flowers.

I have worked with Terra Farms for the last 4 years, and I can honestly say that my experiences with them over that time have been overwhelmingly positive. Terra Farms has proven to be a local source of inspiration to the communities that surround them. They show people the beauty and value that come with choosing homegrown and locally sourced florals, while creating stunning arrangements and installations with the colorful crops they produce. These are people that practice sustainable agriculture, believe in supporting other small businesses, and jump at the chance to get their community involved. If you have the opportunity to work with Loni and Andy, take it. You will be thrilled you did.
