Our historic station was the fire station for 100+ years. We have two themed airbnbs- Bell tower library and the the old jail. We include the tables and chairs, you book your vendors, catering, etc. We have an antique firetruck and a bridal suite!

As you walk into the Little Chapel in-the-Woods you are entering into a tradition. Located on the edge of Texas Woman’s University, the chapel is a secluded sanctuary that has held weddings since September 1939, a few months before its dedication by Eleanor Roosevelt. We have two beautiful ballrooms to host the wedding reception of your dreams! The Chapel attendant is present to set up the chapel for the wedding, set up the sound system and instruct your vendors on usage, and to oversee the facility. The Kemp (1300 Lamar Street) was built in 1917 at the request of Flora Kemp who, when asked by her husband Joseph what she would like for her birthday, suggested a public library. The library opened its doors in 1918 with a donation of 4000 books provided by the community. In 1998, the City of Wichita Falls leased the then-defunct historic building to the Arts Council, which began an extensive renovation project to restore the building. The result was The Kemp Center for the Arts, which opened it’s doors in 2002.

Villa available for overnight stays - wedding weekend package is Friday - Sunday(10am check in/10am check out) and this includes 2 overnight stays, access to ballroom on Friday for early decorating and rehearsal dinner. Have the option of booking additional nights. Our ballroom accommodates up to 200 guests inside, patio areas can be used for extra guest seating, cocktail hour, dance floor or other. 601 Spring Event Center is located in the historic George T. Bishop Building at the intersection of Spring and Milam streets in downtown Shreveport. Our venue — rich with history and tradition — provides the perfect setting for any meeting, reception, celebration or ceremony. The building was constructed in the early part of the 20th Century and has had several owners and usages. One of the more notable was George T. Bishop, a successful automobile dealer who purchased the property in 1925. Elegantly refurbished with spectacular coffered ceilings, hand-carved woodwork, inlaid earthenware tiles, bronze chandeliers and solid wood cathedral- style doors, the Bishop Building was impressively opulent for Shreveport. Ironically, decades later another illustrious occupant of the building was the Ark-La-Tex Antique and Classic Vehicle Museum after which the building in the late 20th Century became known locally as the ‘antique car museum.’

10 Beautiful acres, mature oak trees, and a classic historical home are the perfect backdrops for any wedding. Multiple outdoor areas to choose from for your Ceremony site along with a selection of Altar ideas. Couples will have an on-site, day of, wedding Coordinator to orchestrate the many activities so they may relax and enjoy their special day with family and friends. Wedding Parties have two special Wedding Suites to prepare for the day, with an additional area just for hair and make-up. There is a prep kitchen to manage any catered food.
