Our monogram on the wall was everything we had wished for!! He brought the night on the dance floor for sure and it stayed packed the whole night! “We booked with DJ Tim for our May 2026 wedding reception and could not recommend him & Eddie more. We actually attended a Cleveland wedding featuring DJ Tim prior to our own wedding. We had so much fun on the dance floor (more than any other wedding we’ve been to, and we’ve been to a lot!) that we knew there would be practically no debate about who we would book for our own. Tim is so proactive and open with his communication, and his planning website makes it very easy to record all details & preferences. Eddie was our assigned DJ for our reception, and did a fantastic job understanding our needs beforehand, as well as touching base throughout the night. He kept the energy going the entire night, and there were literally zero lulls on the dance floor. Tim and Eddie are both 5/5 star professionals and we highly recommend!”

If I have any questions during the planning stages of an event, he gets back to me immediately. His setup is excellent- efficient and attractive. He manages the sound inside the venue and outside for the ceremony seamlessly. He reads the crowd very well and plays the right music at the right time. He is friendly and energetic but never overbearing. Very much a team player. As a venue owner and Day of Event Coordinator, I give him a top rating. “My husband and I used Direct Entertainment for our DJ and videographer for our wedding and we could not be more pleased!! The team was professional, great at communication, very kind and professional, and they helped make our day absolutely perfect! Jeff, our DJ kept the dance floor alive ALL NIGHT!! When the music had to stop at the end of the night, the dance floor was still completely full and no one wanted it to end. He did a great job announcing the events of the night, made sure that our ceremony music was perfect, and he stuck to our wedding playlist with the exception for a couple guest requests (which we were happy to allow). We were so happy and thankful to have Jeff there! Sie, our videographer also did a wonderful job! We have not yet received our video as our wedding was less than 2 weeks ago, but I already know it is going to be amazing. He was so great with communication, was prompt with his timing, and he even set up a second camera for guests to break away and give us well wishes for our marriage, which I'm so excited to watch back. He was very professional and wonderful to work with. We decided to add videography at the last minute because we thought we might regret not having it, and I am SO happy we asked Jim at Direct Entertainment if they had someone available for our day just a month before, and they did!! Jim, the coordinator at Direct Entertainment frequently checked in with us, asked us questions about ourselves, and genuinely made us feel like he cared about us and our special day. He was great to work with leading up to being assigned our designated DJ and videographer, and even after, he checked in to make sure we were happy and that all of the planning was going well. Overall, we would 1000% recommend Direct Entertainment for any wedding entertainment needs! While their communication was a bit delayed leading up to the event, they were ultimately effective in executing on the day-of. “We found Bluewater Kings through the preferred vendor list at our venue , and we are so glad we did. They invited us to come hear them play at a live showcase, and we were immediately sold. We booked them that same night. One of the best parts of working with them was the planning process. Their online planning portal made it so easy to update our preferences and make adjustments in the months leading up to the wedding. Molly was incredibly helpful and always quick to respond to any questions we had, which made everything feel seamless and organized. We also used their “iPad DJ” option so we could customize our cocktail hour and dinner playlists, along with a few songs during the band’s breaks. It was the perfect balance of adding our own personal touches while still trusting them to play what they know keeps the energy up. The band itself was amazing. “Follow the Sun is seriously the best band ever! Not only do they sound amazing, they were so easy to communicate and plan with and are just genuinely good people. Prior to booking, we came out to watch a live performance and even though they were crazy busy, they each made a point to come say hi and get to know us a little bit. Sophie (our contact person for emails while planning) was personable, responsive, and beyond accommodating. They offer complimentary song requests during the planning process and personalized their performances to include us and our people They also played our ceremony live, and it was better than I could have ever imagined it would be! All we wanted for our wedding day was to celebrate and have fun with our friends and family, and Follow the Sun was the exact vibe we were looking for! I don’t think we left the dance floor once all night, other than to take sunset photos. Richie got our daughter involved by giving her a pick and letting her play his guitar mid performance, a highlight she hasn’t stopped talking about and will never forget!! Annnd they shared a bag of Doritos with me at the end of the night during cleanup, that I will never forget! Lol (trust me, when the wedding is over and you realize you never really get a chance to eat the entire day, you will get it ) Just another example of how great these people are!! “Our DJ Devin Clark - Columbus Wedding & Event DJ was the absolute best. He was so attentive to every detail of the wedding, especially during our multiple planning meetings. Everything was so organized. He worked so well with our other vendors to make sure music ran smoothly through the ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner and reception. He also spoke with every person who would be giving a speech to make sure they knew exactly what to do. The best part about Devin is the energy he brought to the dance floor. He played all of the songs that my husband and I wanted to hear and if I had a request during the wedding he played it right away. You can tell he really enjoys what he does. He is also great at bringing the energy back up on the dance floor. There was one time during the night where everyone cleared out from dancing because it was quite hot. Devin had the idea of slowing it down for a slow dance, which got everyone to come back to the dance floor right before he picked up the beats again. We got so many compliments saying that he played so many good songs and the remixes were also so good. I highly recommend getting Devin from JSP for your event.”

He worked with us on song selection (there were a couple of songs we drew a blank on), helped fine-tune the schedule of events and worked with our photographer and venue to iron out the details and make sure they were all on the same page. We kept the song selection up to him as much as we could, providing some "dos" and "don't" and he did the rest. We got several comments on the music after the fact from both friends and family, so he managed to please both crowds. I'd highly recommend Jack to anyone.”
