We began as a concession company providing cotton candy at sporting events. In the fall of 2021, we extended our brand by starting our own manufacturing plant. Sweet Buckets was born as an option for customers and businesses to purchase Cotton Candy and Gourmet popcorns direct from our company.

My name is Amira Fahmy (hence AF 😉) and I’m the baker behind the throwback snacks. I’m a brown girl who was raised in the 90s and I grew up with an endless love for all things Little Debbie and Hostess. A few years ago I set out to build a business around making baked goods that would bring people joy. I think it’s hard in this day and age for a lot of people to stop and appreciate something that is so detailed and crafted by hand, to imagine that every stamen, every petal, every bud, every calyx, and every color is made individually and then combined together to make a sugar flower. Often hundreds of steps. Then each flower, each stem of leaves, is combined to make an entire sugar flower arrangement. One cake.
