Self-taught cake artist and chocolatier who loves creating all occasion cakes for birthdays, weddings, showers, etc! I have been in business for 35 years creating delicious cakes and chocolates. Taught by some of the best teachers in the world! I love what I do and look forward to working with all the couples to create their dream wedding cakes! I look forward to hearing from you and designing your wedding cake! Serving Cleveland and Northeast Ohio!

I have a passion for what I do. I listen to my couples, try to give them the best pricing and, of course, a delicious wedding cake, desserts, etc. I'm very particular on how my cakes look and I present them so that when they see them for the first time, a big smile and excitement shows on their faces. This is the best part of being an artist, creating couples dreams cakes and watching everything just come together for their special day. I also deliver all over the state of Ohio too!

    Candy Lady Chocolates & Custom Cakes was an absolute joy to work with for our wedding! She was easy to get in touch with and always responsive to our questions and requests. The cake and cupcakes she created for us were phenomenal!!! She made the sunflowers I wanted look so realistic and the cake wasn't too sweet, which is exactly what I was hoping for. The cake was downright delicious and if you're looking for any type of cake, I'd highly recommend booking Candy Lady Chocolates & Custom Cakes - you won't be disappointed!

    Beautiful Edible Artwork

    I've known Peggy since high school and when she offered to make our wedding cake, we said yes! This was such a beautiful, delicious cake, everyone just raved about it. Not only does she research, work with you on a budget, make delicious desserts, she is so professional. We will recommend her highly for any type of events.

    We got married in 2021 when all the craziness was still going on. Peggy worked with us through the whole process. She was very detailed in explaining everything and was a pleasure to work with. The cake was delicious and beautiful! All our guests loved the cake and everything about it. There wasn't one piece left by the end of the evening. I highly recommend and will use Peggy again for future events.

Cakes are custom based on what each customer is looking for. Pricing are determined by flavors, servings, delivery, dietary needs, design, etc. Typical ranges are $700.00 and up.
Yes, I do deliver. A fee depending on location. I also have delivered cakes to New York, Virginia, all over Ohio. I also can ship certain cakes. Most delivery/set up fees run from $75.00-$150.00+ depending on location are separate from the cake pricing. The farther away, that will be determined
Servings range from $7.00 - $10.00. Each cake is custom to that couple & pricing is determined by flavors, servings, deliver/setup distance, allergies, theme, design, flowers, etc. Once I get all the information as if you are ordering from me, I can then work on some quotes. Saves time with how busy the couples are, they have a quote that is ready to go if they decide to go with me.
I would need at least 3 weeks so that supplies can be purchased plus to get on the schedule, the sooner the better. Wedding cakes need to be ordered at least 2-6 months or more in advance. In order to book the event date a 50% non-refundable retainer is required which books and secures your date. Balance due one month before the event.
Yes, I schedule at least two weeks out, usually on Sundays from 11 am. or later. Or if that doesn't work we can schedule a time during the week. A couple packages are available. I also do wedding TO GO boxes and are scheduled and picked up on Fridays. Those are prepaid and non-refundable which books and secures your tasting date.
I do not offer gluten or nut fee bakery at this time.
Delivery & setup are in addition to the cost of the cake, based on distance, etc.
Usually 150 guests, you would need at least a 4 tier cake. If you have more than 200 guests, that would require at least a 5 tier or more or offset with cupcakes, sheet cakes, etc.
I'm visual so if you send me a picture of what you want your cake to look like, I can let you know if I'm able to create something similar.
