Katie’s Kakes

Hi! My name is Katie and I own Katie’s Kakes! I am a small cottage law baker out of my home in Madison, Ohio. I have been a chef for many years and one year I wanted to make my mom a special cake for Mother’s Day. Her favorite flower is hydrangea, so I attempted to make a cake that looked like a hydrangea. It didn’t look as bad as I thought it was going to. After posting it, I had many friends and family reach out for me to bake them a custom cake. Finally in 2022 I decided to create Katie’s Kakes and received my LLC. I love being in the kitchen and creating something beautiful and tasty for any wedding! I love what I do!

I like to get to know the happy couple and what they like and dislike. I try to make the process as easy peasy as possible so they have less stress! I love to do custom cakes and take their inspiration and bring it to life! Whether it be a traditional tiered cake or a dessert bar with a small cutting cake. I have also done a Halloween theme!! I love all the different styles and themes, that makes it all unique to your big day!! I also offer a free smash cake on your one year anniversary when you order from me!
