Hi! My name is Katie and I own Katie’s Kakes! I am a small cottage law baker out of my home in Madison, Ohio. I have been a chef for many years and one year I wanted to make my mom a special cake for Mother’s Day. Her favorite flower is hydrangea, so I attempted to make a cake that looked like a hydrangea. It didn’t look as bad as I thought it was going to. After posting it, I had many friends and family reach out for me to bake them a custom cake. Finally in 2022 I decided to create Katie’s Kakes and received my LLC. I love being in the kitchen and creating something beautiful and tasty for any wedding! I love what I do!

I like to get to know the happy couple and what they like and dislike. I try to make the process as easy peasy as possible so they have less stress! I love to do custom cakes and take their inspiration and bring it to life! Whether it be a traditional tiered cake or a dessert bar with a small cutting cake. I have also done a Halloween theme!! I love all the different styles and themes, that makes it all unique to your big day!! I also offer a free smash cake on your one year anniversary when you order from me!

Katie's Kakes made our wedding day so much sweeter. From our first conversation, Katie was easy to work with and answered all our questions without hesitation. The cookies she created for us were absolutely stunning and tasted just as good as they looked. Our guests kept raving about how well-made they were throughout the night. The flavor and presentation were perfection, and we felt like we got incredible value for what we paid. We'd recommend Katie's Kakes to any couple looking for desserts that will impress.

Great baker
I have used Katie for numerous occasions for cupcakes!! Every time I do we always get a compliment on how good they look and how they taste even better!!! If there is a way to give her 6 stars I would!! We will be using her again real soon for my oldest daughter’s grad party!! Great tasting baked goods and very affordable as well!!

Best desserts in madison
Katie’s Kakes is truly such a great company to work with! With great prices, reasonable flexibility great communication and most importantly great food with beautiful work! They always go above and beyond to make your special event so much better and I plan to continue to use them for all my special events truly such an incredible experience that never disappoints

Amazing Variety of Sweets
I got the opportunity to try a variety of sweets from Katie’s Kakes & she pleasantly surpassed my expectations! Between beautifully decorated chocolate cake to personalized cookies it was everything and more. I’m very much pleased with the service & would highly recommend her for any needs you may have!
