“Music was the #1 most important part of our wedding. Our goal was to make sure no one left the dance floor, and we had an extremely high bar and specific vision for a DJ for our wedding… Davey met and exceeded expectations, and I’d throw another party just to hire him again. He was extremely helpful, available, and consultative throughout the process, which was immensely valuable because we planned the wedding from out-of-state. We wanted a party that started with familiar songs remixes into house music so that the family members could dance to something familiar, and get progressively more dancey throughout the night- and that’s exactly what we got. He’s adaptable and ready to read the crowd to keep everyone involved, which we really appreciated, and was a big priority. He puts the couple first and is very intentional about making sure the night goes smoothly and as expected. It was a party with exactly the right music, and Davey kept everyone dancing- even my 82 year old grandma. We selected Davey because of his knowledge of our music taste (he’d even played some of our favorite NYC clubs), but in referencing him it was clear that his capabilities were not limited to this style- I talked to two other couples who were just as excited about Davey as I am, but with pretty different taste. As we worked with Davey and got to know him, it also became apparent that he’s just an excellent human being, and brought such good vibes and energy to our wedding just for being who he is. To anyone considering, I could not recommend Davey more. We were close on using another vendor whose package included lights, but I’m glad we did not. The lights we would have received were auto-sensing lights that “sync” to the music- but from what I’ve seen, those lights are frenetic and unreliable. We spent some extra money investing in proper lights (Davey helped with a few introductions), and the combination of Davey’s skills and professional lighting transformed a standard wedding to a disco nightclub.”

“Our DJ was very professional, kind, and easy to work with throughout the planning process and on the wedding day, I had a million questions throughout the process and he was able to answer them all. He was great with communication and kept the music going all night, which helped keep the dance floor lively and fun for our guests! He helped me out a ton with helping pick songs for the precessional and other key moments of the night, and he gave me great advice on what would and wouldn't work well. my only tips for the future: Before the wedding, I had created a playlist of songs I was hoping would be incorporated into the night, along with a separate “must play” list of songs that were especially meaningful to us. Toward the very end of the reception, I realized that the must-play songs hadn’t been worked into the evening yet, so we asked for them with about 15 minutes left. In hindsight, I would just recommend making sure those key songs get sprinkled into the night a little earlier so couples (mainly the bride lol) have more time to enjoy them :) There were also a couple moments during announcements where guests weren’t fully paying attention, and repeating instructions once or twice more might have helped get everyone on the same page a little quicker. Overall, the music was still great and our guests had a really fun time on the dance floor. He was very professional, friendly, and easy to work with, and I would absolutely recommend him to other couples! As a nit picky /type a person, i think with just a little extra focus on incorporating requested playlists and must-play songs earlier in the night, he could make the experience even better for future weddings!”

“Wow! Wow! Wow! I am pretty much speechless because this band is THAT good. I first want to compliment, Greg Williams, the owner of Uptown Drive. From booking all the way through wedding day, he was nothing but responsive, respectful and a pleasure to work with. As for the reception, they made it what it was! I think what is incredible about them is they entertain everyone (not only those dancing on the dance floor) because every song is a TRUE performance. I am not lying when i say this, every time I have seen someone that attended my wedding, every one of them (young or old) comment on how great the band was. FYI I'm three months out from my wedding, so I've seen a lot of my guests since then. They played the right music while everyone was eating and visiting and knew exactly how to transition to dance floor time by doing a conga line. They let my husband and I get on stage and sing which we will remember and cherish forever. They came out into the crowd and let out our guest sing. They came out in the crown and danced with us! Me and some of my guests joke that we would like to have another wedding just so we can have them play again. I could absolutely not recommend this band anymore! Stop here and BOOK THEM!!! P.S. “DJ Ed was the prime example of good communication prior to the wedding. He made sure our specific wants and needs were addressed for music. He followed the playlist that we gave them, did a good job of getting people onto the dance floor and excited for our wedding (especially since it was a dry wedding) and was an affordable price for our budget. The cons were that for the ceremony, the music was longer than it should have been (stopping/starting during the ceremony and too loud). Overall did a great job with the trust we placed in his hands for our perfect day!”

We also do not only play but have a passion for entertainment and crowd participation and that always makes for an unforgettable night.
