I absolutely loved my wedding at Elmcrest Banquets. Their team and staff were so lovely to work with. They had so many options for me to customize the dream wedding I was envisioning. We had the most beautiful wedding at WildmanBT - Michelle was super easy to work with and we loved the optional and available upgrades. We had a group of approx. 210, large stage props, a band, 2 food trucks, and large dance floor. We were worried about finding a venue that'd be able to fit all our people and specs but WildmanBT more than surpassed our expectations. It's the perfect mix of industrial and chic - we had highly personalized touches and wanted to be in the weeds on most decisions, which WildmanBT and our coordinator graciously accommodated for. WildmanBT was also a top choice for it's more square than rectangle shape which meant more people could watch the dancing from their seats and the bridal suite was top notch. The location is ideal given it's close to Fulton Market where we had our rehearsal dinner and hotel block for guests.

Review: If you are looking for a one-of-a-kind beautiful historic venue for an unique and special event in Chicago, the search is over. Book Stan Mansion now!!! We could not imagine or have chosen a better venue for our wedding. We live out of state but wanted to get married in Chicago for several reasons - after a trip we took just to look at several venues we had identified online it was such an easy choice for us to go with Stan Mansion. Cera Stan, the visionary owner, met with us and our families and told us all about her incredible story with the historic building - built in 1920s as a Masonic Lodge. The space is absolutely gorgeous and speaks for itself but we particularly loved how we were able to do everything onsite - getting ready, photos, ceremony, cocktail hour, reception - everything has a home at Stan Mansion and a beautiful, well-appointed one at that. We were impressed with their thoughtful and competitive pricing and the care and attention we were shown before we ever signed a contract - even sharing a list of favored vendors which was a guiding hand for us throughout our planning process. Cera gave us valuable advice at that first meeting about planning a wedding that rang in our ears throughout the entire year leading up to our big day. The other major appeal for us with SM was our incredible Wedding Coordinator, Aleya. We knew we wanted help with our planning process, but to have that be someone who works full time for the venue was invaluable. Aleya worked long distance with us for months via zoom, phone, and in-person meetings planned around our other travel to Chicago to assist in whatever way she could to help keep us on track. I plan events regularly as a part of my job and was excited to do the bulk of the planning of our wedding with my family, but Aleya’s knowledge of the venue and area, her strong relationship with vendors, her creative eye, passion for events, calming aura, and genuine love for her job shine through in everything she does. She is a gem and a huge part of why the venue is so phenomonal, but everyone we met who works there - Miguel, Monica, Cera’s husband Drago - warm, wonderful, lovely humans. At The Stan Mansion we were able to plan a bespoke, creative, seamless and well-run event that didn’t feel cookie-cutter or like any wedding we had been to before. Our guests were a mix of local Chicagoans and out-of-towners and they all raved about the venue - its beauty, its history, and just how special it felt. You can’t invent that about a space, it is inherent to the love poured into it and the care surrounding it. We will forever be so grateful to have found this special home in Logan Square! We absolutely loved having our wedding day at Fairlie and would have it there 100 times again. The beauty of this space is that you can really make it yours with whatever decor you choose to bring in. Alexis and Alex at Fairlie are incredibly easy to work with, super laid back, and are just as excited about your big day as you are. The romantic vibes that we got in this space at golden hour just elevated our wedding that much more, and the exposed brick really made this a unique venue for our city wedding. The curtains allow for an easy way to flip the space and also are just beautiful paired with the tall ceilings. Our guests loved how big the bar was because they felt there was never too long of a wait for a drink. So many good things to say — we love Fairlie so much!!!!

Chicago couples looking for a gorgeous venue with natural light and a massive bar, THE most helpful and responsive wedding planners, and delicious cocktails and food, you've found your perfect match with Walden! We toured Walden in June 2024 and we couldn't help but compare every other venue we looked at to Walden because Walden was - simply put - the BEST! Even before we officially signed with Walden, we felt very taken care of by Maria who gave us our tour and she assured us we'd feel that way with our planners and day-of coordinators, which she was spot on about! We were super impressed by the physical space (the tall ceilings! brick walls! gorgeous ceremony and getting ready space!) and by the bartender-to-guest ratio (highly recommend asking about this at venues if you have a lively guest list like we did!), but our Walden planners are what made our day SO special and truly stress-free. Krystle and Katie Rose (our wedding planners) were thoughtful, professional, encouraging, creative and fun throughout the entire process. I remember them saying "we like to have our couples in a bubble on the day of" meaning they would be around to coordinate everything from steaming dresses, to making sure the bus knew where to park, to ensuring all of us ate, and more! Krystle and Katie Rose provided helpful deadlines, documents (like a "details" check list) and vendor recommendations to us throughout the planning process, and I appreciated their honesty when it came to vendors we were inquiring about. They truly are experts in their craft and were such a joy to work with. I don't think I ever waited more than 24 hours for a response from either of them. Day of, there were several coordinators at all times, so we felt very taken care of. The food and drinks were out of this world. We got so many compliments from guests about the appetizers, the flow of dinner, and the kind bartenders. Another perk of Walden is that it hosts an incredible, unique tasting for couples. Walden hosts several couples and their guests at the same time, so you can see what the space looks like when it's full, you can see how accommodating the catering and bar staff are, and you can sample the delicious food and drinks. The location can't be beat, especially for guests staying downtown and if you want to take photos in the city with your wedding party. We know we'll be back at Walden for future weddings since so many of our friends were SO impressed by the venue and staff. Thanks, Walden!!!

I couldn't be happier with our decision to book The Carter as our wedding venue! The staff made the night go flawlessly. My wedding coordinator even commented how impressed she was with how quick their staff was able to move throughout setup during the day. She also complimented the catering coordinator as being a complete pro. With The Carter you are required to use their caterer, D'Absolute, but that was not a problem for us because the food was phenomenal. Wedding food can be hit or miss, but we had multiple guests raving about everything from the apps to the late night snacks. Chris allowed us to include 2 signature drinks and customized our bar menu to whatever we wanted. Since I got married on my birthday Chris even upgraded our glassware free of charge which was such a sweet, unexpected gesture! They are very flexible with how you want to use the space, which I loved because we were able to make the event truly unique. What sold me on the space is that you don't need to add much additional decor because it's so beautiful on its own. The connecting courtyard comes with string lights. The interior space includes multiple chandeliers and string lights over the dance floor. Most other places you'd need to bring those details in, and pay for them. What I also love about the space is you get the "lofty, urban" feel without all of the pillars/poles in a typical loft space. You get high ceilings and an open floor plan, which makes the space look so much nicer (in my opinion). The cost is a little pricier than other venues we explored, however I 100% think we paid for higher quality and I have zero regrets.

Royal Palms has always held a special place in our hearts. At the beginning of our relationship, I joined a league with my now-husband’s best friends. Shuffleboard (and Shuffleboard Bobs) brought us together, and they welcomed me into the group. We were league regulars and made some great memories, even though we rarely won a game. When we got engaged, we knew we wanted an untraditional wedding experience and were so excited that Royal Palms was willing to host us - their first wedding! Their events coordinator, Taylor, was just as enthusiastic and worked closely with us to plan an incredible event. We walked down a shuffleboard aisle on the roof while the Blue Line passed behind us, making for some incredible photos. Captain Scott gave our guests tutorials while they ate Big Star tacos from a truck and drank amazing cocktails. The energy was incredible, and it meant the world to us to see our families and friends connecting over rounds of shuffleboard. Hosting was easy - the space is already so beautiful that we did not bring in any decorations! No flowers or linens needed. Catering from a food truck was fun and unique. The photo station was fully stocked with props. The AV equipment was ready for a DJ and we kept our custom playlist bumping all night. The bartenders kept energy high and drinks flowing all night (truly the best bar in the city, in my opinion!). We danced and ate and played for hours. Our guests still talk about this night to this day. It was a party to remember, which is exactly what we wanted. Even better than the wonderful memories, pictures, and stories is the fact that we can go back whenever we want to relive the night. Even after two kids, we still make a point of playing a round of shuffleboard every year on our anniversary - it will be 6 years this fall! We cannot thank the Royal Palms staff enough for working with us. They are high-energy and fun, and they are also professional and take their clients’ experience very seriously. You would never know ours was their first wedding - they had every single detail covered, resulting in a seamless night. I look back on that night with nothing but happy memories. I wouldn’t change a single thing!

We toured Salvage One on a weekend among 10 other Chicago venue tours and we instantly knew it was the place we wanted to get married. (So instantly, that we ran out of our last tour to go sign our contract and secure our date that day!). It met and exceeded all of our expectations on the day. The venue is absolutely gorgeous, and Colleen and her team are so responsive and helpful. The ceremony space is so beautiful and allows for a truly cinematic experience walking down the aisle. For the reception area, being able to leverage the antique tables (and bonus: not having to rent linens!) gave everything a perfectly cozy touch, and we partied under the disco ball all night long. We received compliments all night long on our venue choice and overall cannot recommend this location enough.

We had some delays in the ceremony at our other venue that set us back a little bit, but the whole staff rallied and were flexible and helped adjust the flow of the evening. Bookclub is one of my favorite places to be at in the world. Its charm, spirit, and ethos resonates deeply with me. I could list many other things about the space that I love, but I think the one that should be highlighted the most is the staff and owners of the venue. They truly go above and beyond to make the space so incredibly warm and welcoming to everyone. Every time I have a nice chat with someone there, I leave feeling my soul nourished. Lacuna Lofts saved the day after our first venue closed. We loved the unique space. The food was amazing—some of our guests said it was the best wedding dinner they've ever had! (The mashed potatoes were a real crowd pleaser.) It ended up raining on our wedding day, so we had to pivot and have our ceremony in Magik Street rather than the skydeck. The space worked perfectly with our flowers, and our guests still got to grab photos on the roof during cocktail hour.

Amazing Space@625 was the perfect venue for our traditional Nigerian wedding ceremony. The staff was excellent and very responsive and helpful throughout the entire planning process. The venue itself was truly unique and spacious, with plenty of room for our guests to mingle and celebrate. The free parking was a huge plus for downtown Chicago, and I especially loved the private bridal suite to get ready in. We had a small rehearsal dinner, followed by a big welcome party on the river for over 200 guests from 20 different states. This is a perfect location for people that have never been to Chicago and those that are locals, because the view of the river and the buildings is absolutely stunning. They have the biggest covered outdoor patio in the city, and it was a perfect setting for our guests. From the dinner food to the appetizers and cocktails, every single detail was excellent. We couldn't believe how kind the staff was, from the person that we first interacted with to every bartender. They were flexible and really cared about making this experience enjoyable and unique for our guests, and wow, they delivered! We are so thankful for what your team put together for us. We had an amazing experience with the Sculpture Garden at Bridgeport Art Center. We started our process with Claire who was super accommodating with a last minute Friday evening tour to accommodate my work schedule, once we booked we worked with Eleanor who was also wonderful. Communication with both was timely and efficient and they were super patient with all my questions! The space itself was stunning, guests are still commenting on it a month later! For us it was awesome to have an “outdoor wedding” that didn’t need a rain plan due to the cover on the ceremony space. You felt like you were outside with more of the comforts of an inside space, and the pictures turned out amazing with the natural light, tall ceilings and chandeliers! The indoor space is just as lovely and the night flowed beautifully thanks to the venue team!
