If I have any questions during the planning stages of an event, he gets back to me immediately. His setup is excellent- efficient and attractive. “The photographer, videographer, and photo booth was absolutely perfect and our guests had a blast! However, even after going through the work of submitting a Spotify play list and adding do not play songs or DJ played the wrong version of our first dance song (I checked and we had the correct version listed on our playlist we sent over), he also played songs from our do not play list to the point I, the bride, came over to ask if he had the wrong list. He admitted he was using songs from the do not play list as he was not paying attention. I would also like to note, though our wedding was more casual, our DJ was dressed in a sloppy manner. His shirt was half untucked from his pants, there were stains on his shirt and pants. Besides a few hiccups, direct Entertainment was wonderful to work with!”

“HiMotive Entertainment & Photobooth did a great job keeping our wedding reception fun and upbeat. While their communication was a bit delayed leading up to the event, they were ultimately effective in executing on the day-of. The DJ kept the party going all night with a good song selection, though they did play 3 Taylor Swift songs in a row at the start, which we would have preferred more variety. The MC's ad-libs got a little overbearing at times, but overall they did a nice job sticking to the schedule and making important announcements. We'd recommend HiMotive to other couples looking for an energetic DJ.”

“The Bluewater Kings Band provided what truly felt like white glove service to make our wedding dance floor exactly what we wanted. Ryan was extremely responsive over email and our phone call before the wedding allowed us to lay out what we wanted the experience to be. In addition to how easy it was to work with them, their performance was spectacular. They were professional, polished and musically phenomenal. Their set list truly sounded like we had hand-picked every song (we only gave them a list of our favorite types of music and they knocked it out of the park). We leveraged the piano player for our ceremony music and it was beautiful and a nice touch at a reasonable price point as an add-on.”

“Follow the Sun was absolutely incredible! They were everything we could have hoped for and more on our big day. They were so helpful every step of the way and were excellent at communicating. They performed our ceremony and cocktail hour as well and were absolutely fantastic. He worked with us on song selection (there were a couple of songs we drew a blank on), helped fine-tune the schedule of events and worked with our photographer and venue to iron out the details and make sure they were all on the same page. We kept the song selection up to him as much as we could, providing some "dos" and "don't" and he did the rest. We got several comments on the music after the fact from both friends and family, so he managed to please both crowds. I'd highly recommend Jack to anyone.”

“Soul Shake & The Eastside Horns are seriously one of the coolest bands around Cleveland. I catch them on both the east and west sides, and they always bring the perfect mix of fun and talent. They’re a 10-piece band with two awesome lead singers, a killer 3-piece horn section, and five other incredibly talented musicians who round it all out—so every show feels big and full of energy. We had them play at my spouse's retirement party, and they made the night unforgettable. Super easy to work with, really friendly with guests, and the music was top-notch.
